4 Hostage Mission (1 / 3)!

[VIRIDIAN FOREST, 30 MINUTES LATER]

Officer Henry woke up and he looked grimly at the note in his hands.

[OFFICER JENNY HAS BEEN TAKEN HOSTAGE BY TEAM ROCKET, IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER ALIVE AGAIN THEN COME BACK HERE IN 2 DAYS TIME WITH 2,000,000 Poké IF NOT SAY AU REVOIR TO JENNY]

Officer Henry began to tremble, He knew they meant Serious business. He ran back to Viridian City, forgetting about his bleeding hand.

We arrived in front of a refurbished house, It radiated its beauty.

"How could you own a house in the forest?" I asked.

"I don't stay at the hotel everytime, Kid. A Man's gotta have his own abode," Rick said, "Wait, What's your name?"

"Jordan...I'm an orphan," I said.

"Surprising! Just kidding, I'm not surprised. Anyway, Let's make sure to secure this Officer tightly inside a room." Rick said as he opened the door.

The house smelt nice and Rick showed me the room she would be staying in, It had a bed, a mirror and a television.

The house was dark, though. I suddenly heard the sound of the light switch clicking.

I got spooked, Seriously spooked. A Pokémon appeared in front of me with a smile. It was a Haunter.

"RICK, THERE'S A HAUNTER IN THE HOUSE!!!" I shouted at the top of my voice.

Rick suddenly came in and patted the Haunter on the head.

"Ah! Haunter, I've been looking for you. Come let's prepare some food in the Kitchen!" Rick said and Haunter left with him.

I was surprised that my outburst didn't wake Officer Jenny (who was in my arms) up. There was only one reason, The potency of Sleep powder was powerful. I thought of catching my own Butterfree once I got a Pokéball.

I carefully placed her on the bed before securing her hands and legs with some rope.

You can't trust women!

I sat on a chair next to the bed and deeply thought about something before standing up and coming out of the room, locking the door.

"Hey, Rick! Where are you?" I asked, moving through the house. Even though it looked small on the outside, It was large on the inside.

"I'M IN THE KITCHEN!" Rick shouted.

"Where IS the Kitchen?!" I shouted, "They are about 40 rooms in this house! How the hell did you afford this?"

"I'm Rich, baby." Rick said and sent Haunter to guide me to the Kitchen. Haunter appeared in front of me and teleported me to the Kitchen while laughing.

I nearly shit myself.

"Are you serious! Rick, Just how powerful are you?" I asked with curiosity.

"I should be powerful enough to take out Pewter City gym leader, Cerulean City gym leaders and Vermilion City gym leader." Rick said.

"All at once!" He finished with sincerity.

"Are you crazy?" I asked.

"Nope but i'm talking about beating Brock, not Flint! That guy's a monster!" Rick concluded with a smile, "Took over from Brock a week ago, No trainer has been able to get his badge since. The Pewter city branch are suffering heavy losses now, They are hardly able to complete any missions. Any more of that and that branch's captain, Leroy will be demoted to grunt."

So that means that Ash must be in Cerulean City by now, Really informative.

Rick finished cooking and put some food aside in a plate, His food was mouth-watering.

"Here, give it to our hostage. She can't go on an empty stomach," Rick said, handing a plate and spoon to me, "And also some Kibble for that Growlithe, There's a plate in the drawer in that room."

"Sometimes you act like a real gentleman," I said while taking the plate.

I located the room where she was and immediately opened the door, I half-expected Officer Jenny to not be there but she was there, tied with rope and trying to get off the bed.

"Save your strength, You can't escape. This place is securely protected by Team Rocket," I lied.

She felt her waist for her Pokéball but it wasn't there, Growlithe was chained to the side of the window and barking angrily at me.

"Here, have some food." I said, untying her hands. She looked at me with a glare but her stomach rumbled.

She reluctantly took the food, She was sure it was laced with a sleeping pill but she ate it anyway.

'If he wanted to rape me, He could have done it before.'

She smiled as she finished her meal. I turned to the drawer and opened it, bringing out a plate and then poured some kibble/ Pokémon food for Growlithe. It ate it hungrily and after it finished, it let out a pleading bark. It was asking for more.

I chuckled before emptying the container of food in my hand and giving it to Growlithe who ate it, happily.

"Why are you a member of Team Rocket? You don't look like you are a part of that organization." Officer Jenny asked, trying to clean her mouth.

The sound of lights switching on interrupted our Conversation.

"Rick, What is this?"

"I bought a Nature Generator some years back!! Hehe, It converts leaves into energy and Viridian City's full of them." Rick shouted back.

Is this how the Pokémon world's technology is so complex?

I found a remote.

"I am an orphan, I was sick and tired of being treated like trash and I finally joined the Organization who gave people what they wanted, Power... Power, that's what everyone wants." I said with honesty.

"I see, It's not your fault." She said, feeling remorseful for once. She felt sorry for the way the world treated me.

"It's not yours either, Now can you be a good girl and tell me if you have batteries with you?" I asked.

She puffed her cheeks in embarassment.

"I don't," She said while folding her hands.

I unchained Growlithe with a smile and let it run to its trainer then I turned to the remote with a frown.

"The damn batteries are dead," I said.
