He didn't introduce Sylveon as the world now is currently unaware of fairy type.

Like this he became the professor and became famous and there was already a fan club for him which 90% of them were females.

As for the reward for his contribution, the league association given him many privileges such as 35% off in every shop associated with league and 15% off in auctions hosted by the League Association, 5,000,000₱, a good potential eevee egg from the parents of elite rank flareon and joltieon.
