17 Christmas Date

25th December 1994

Kanto Region, Pallet Town:

Christmas, a national holiday, A day where people spent time with their loved ones to the fullest. A day where people made merry and most importantly, A day where men do their women to make it more memorable.

On this specific day, Red was at the mart in Viridian city. The league had ordered the league to sell at 20% off today so people were crowding like a storm.

Red who made the top 10 was therefore receiving a 70% off and the shop keeper was angry because of it.

Surprisingly, Red picked up a red cap with a strip of white and a small black ball with a line through it at the edge.

"How much is this?" Red asked.

"150 Poke," The Shop keeper replied, "It's an official Quartz conference hat from the last Quartz Conference, It never got sold, Honestly I'm surprised you went with something so cheap today,"

"I guess," Red said with a shrug as he brought out 400 Poke, "I know i've been stressing you a lot because of the 50 percent off thing, I know it's small but you deserve it, Sir,"

Red bowed and pushed the 400 Poke into the man's hands.

"Thanks for the hat," Red said while walking out, putting the Quartz Conference hat on.

The cold wind blew against Green's skin as she stood in front of the Pokemon center of Viridian city, She was wearing a thick mareep wool jacket and blue jeans as well as her signature hat on her head.

"Is he going to show up?" She muttered to herself, She had texted him and asked him to meet her in front of the Pokemon center of Viridian city for their date... ahem, Hangout.

'Yes, I have to take it slowly,' Green thought to herself, 'He just got over Daisy so I can't just instantly come butting in on his life, We'll take it slowly and then surely...'

"Hey, Green," Red said, exuding a bright smile.

Green turned to Red and saw that his black hair was sticking out of a cap that he put on, She recognized the cap of course, She had seen a competitor of the last Quartz Conference wear it in his battle but never had she thought that she would actually see it on Red's head.

He was wearing the black trench coat and Blue jeans she had seen him in before and he was looking incredibly sexy... ahem, handsome.

"Sorry, I'm late. Had to buy this cap," Red said with a smile.

"Oh no, I just arrived here as well," Green said, attempting to hide her flushed face, "Where should we go first?"

She noticed Red had an ultra ball clipped to his waistband but her shyness wouldn't allow her ask why,

Red took her hand and she blushed.

"I had a restaurant in mind," Red said, "Unless of course, You didn't want to go there,"

"I... I do but you're making it sound like a date," Green said.

"It is, isn't it?" Red asked with a clever smirk causing Green to blush once more, "Unless you don't want to go,"

"I... I do," Green said.

"Then let's begin this date already," Red said with a smile as he pulled her along.

"I'll have the stewed rice order," Red said, dropping his menu on the table.

"What about you, Young miss?" The butler asked.

Green was dazed, She wasn't actually expecting Red to take her to one of those 4-star restaurants in Viridian city, She was expecting something... less fancier.

Considering what a junior trainer earns per battle, To afford the breakfasts and lunches here would cost almost 10 battles. How could someone so blatantly spend his hard earned money?

"I'll have the same thing he had," Green said.

"Then put a full chicken in a different plate as well," Red spoke out and the butler nodded before leaving.

Once the Butler reached a considerable distance, She narrowed her eyes at Red who was seemingly checking out his cap.

"You know this place is expensive, right? Why would you spend so much to just come here?" Green asked.

"For you," Red replied with a smug grin.

Green felt her face heat up as she turned tomato red, She put her face on the table but couldn't stop blushing.

'For you...' The words seemed to keep on playing in her head.

Red on the other hand smiled and inwardly praised his master for presenting a thing called Wuxia novels to him, He got rid of all of the porno comics he had and did a crash course on Wuxia novels.

He couldn't actually believe he was making a girl blush right now, It was surreal to him.

"Thank you, Professor," Red mouthed, although not loud enough for Green to hear.

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, Red is going to experience a good Christmas... After all, He's deserves a good christmas for what's going to come next year!
