Chapter 1

Kylus didn't know hoe he'd gotten there. He was standing in a small white room, people flanking the walls, all in white and black suites, a bold, gold G in the middle of their chests.

In a pedestal in front of him sat three pokeballs, the term popped into his head as if he'd known this his whole life. With it, information of less than a decade flowed into his head, experiences he didn't remember going through but he recalled them. He recalled his life here, as the son of the leader of galactic, he was treated as royalty by the ones in Team Galactic. His existence wasn't yet revealed to the public because of his inability to defend himself.

His eyes rested on the reflective metal surface, his green eyes catching his wavy blue hair and the figure standing behind and to the left of him, a proud smirk on his face as he watched the proceeding. His father. Flanking him was his three generals, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter.

Kylus reached out, even if he couldn't remember it, he knew he was supposed to pick one to accompany him, accompany him to the top and beyond. Everyone was expecting him to be extremely powerful and allow Team Galactic to fulfill their plans.

He grasped one of the pokeballs and threw it, as if in a trance. Piplup exploded out of the ball in a burst of light, chirping happily, "Pip! Piplup." She waited patiently as he reached for the one in middle, tossing it out and watching as Chimchar appeared, "Chim! Chimchar." He knew what the last one was but tossed it out anyway, "Turtwig! Turt."

"Pick one, they will accompany you to greatness."

His father's words echoed around the room and Kylus knew this decision would impact everything in his life. But he had known which one he would pick, known from the moment he had been told of the three starters.

It had to be...

2.) Piplup

3.) Turtwig

4.) Demand something else
