82 Chapter 82: Erika’s Shock!, solved glooms problem.

"Tangela use Vine Whip.

Erika took the lead in commanding Tangela to launch the attack.

"Bulbasaur let's also use Vine Whip to show the opponent your strength."

Ash also responded with Vine Whip.

To be honest Bulbasaur's vine whip is strong quite strong compared to venasuar.

In the original plot Vine Whip a skill with low power defeated countless opponents like a final evolution of jhoto grass starter meginium.( Yeah it was a tie so don't say he don't win the match ok)

Several Vine Whips collided in the air and the one released by Tangela was quickly defeated by Bulbasaur.

Then Bulbasaur's tenacity Vine Whip struck Tangela knocking it out of combat capability in just one blow.

The gap between Iv36 and Iv20 is really a bit big.

Erika who saw the Bulbasaur thought may be it was higher level than she expected.

Although Tangela's level is not high it is a Pokemon which she uses to give free victory for the rookie's but it does not mean that she treats Tangela's as a canon fodder.

Tangela's evolved form tangrowth is strong.

It is a bit higher than Venusaur the final evolved form of Bulbasaur from Kanto Region Grass type starter.

It is a rare and powerful Grass type Pokémon.

How could she not be interested?

Even if it is a Pokemon meant to give challenger a free win but she wants the challengers to spend some energy to defeat it.

But with the same Vine Whip move Bulbasaur counter attack it.

It even directly defeated Tangela's Vine Whip and knocked Tangela out of combat capability with one blow.

It can be seen that although ash's Bulbasaur has not evolved it may be stronger than same of its evolved form.

It's quite a tough opponent!

At this time Erika no longer had the mentality of giving advice.

She put Tangela back into the Pokéball and then released her next Pokémon.

[Pokémon: Weepinbell Level Iv30]

Pseudo gym level!

The second Pokémon sent by Erika has suddenly reached the pseudo gym level.

Although she has not used Leaf Stone to evolve him into Victreebel but under the command of Erika a trainer who specializes in Grass type his strength cannot be underestimated!

"Bulbasaur use razor leaf."

Not long after Erika took out Weepinbell with confidence she was once again defeated by ash's Bulbasaur.

This destructive attitude made Erika doubt her life for a while.

Is it her or ash who challenges the gym?

She was a Grass type gym leader but she was defeated by someone using Grass type Pokémon which was her speciality.

Looking at his posture it seems that he wanted to sweep my team in one go using only bulbasuar.

No she absolutely can't let someone to desimate her lineup!

Subconsciously erika wanted to take out her main Pokémon.

Let's him take out ash's Bulbasaur.

Otherwise a Grass type gym would be defeated by a challenger using the same Attribute Pokémon wouldn't it be embarrassing to her?

As gym leader of celedon city a large city in the Kanto Region.

Although Erika looks like a gentle big sister on the surface is really not weak in strength.

The main team in her hand has several pseudo-Elite level Pokémons with Iv50 or above.

Even the main Pokemon of the second team has gym level Iv40 and above.

Just take out one at random and you can defeat that annoying Bulbasaur.

It's just that this goes against the gym leader's professional ethics.

Erika's expression was rigid and she finally chose professional ethics between morality of being ashamed.

Damn ash why don't he choose a Pokémon whose Attribute restrains Grass Type to challenge?

There is nothing to be ashamed of even if the other party defeats her line up but want to defeat her only using grass type will make her a little inferior if she got defeated by him.

Even with the good impression left before by ash Ericka was quite furious.

she released the last Pokémon she had prepared for the gym battle.

[Pokémon: Vileplume level v35]

Normally level 35 is enough to deal with most challengers.

However facing the equally good Bulbasaur and ash who looked nothing like a rookie Rookie trainer in terms of tactical command Erika rarely felt a little overwhelmed.

"Vileplume use poison Powder, stun Spore, Sleep powder continuously."

Erika commanded Vileplume to come up with a three-piece set of negative buffs.

Vileplume is a Grass type Pokémon with huge flowers and lots of pollen.

He is naturally good at releasing this kind of Powder skills.

After receiving Erika's instructions all kinds of Powder immediately covered Bulbasaur in overwhelming numbers.

"Bulbasaur speed up and dodge it then use full powered solar beam.

Although it is not sunshine or Sunny Day weather the chlorophyll ability cannot be activated.

But ash's Bulbasaur is really not slow plus he has used a magical speed potion.

In just an instant he moved his four short legs increasing his speed to the extreme.

Narrowly escaping the Powder skills of various debuffs.

Immediately in the center of the bud on his back little bits of sunlight gathered at a considerable speed.

Then it turned into an extremely dazzling beam of light falling directly on the Vileplume flower path in the distance.which had just released its pollen skills and had not had time to move.

With an explosion Vileplume lost its ability to fight.

"What?!!!"

Erika was shocked when she saw that Bulbasaur released the solar beam quickly without much Stockpile.

Her eyes couldn't help but widen and the look she looked at ash became a little more probing and unpredictable.

As Grass type Pokemon ultimate move Solar Beam is certainly powerful.

However it has a rather fatal flaw that is the Stockpile time is too long and it is easy for opponent to seize the opportunity.

How to reduce the Stockpile time of Solar beam has become a problem that many Grass type Pokémon trainers want to overcome.

What did she just see now?

A Bulbasaur unleashes solar beam in a very short time.

Although it is not instantaneous like normal skills there is still a certain delay.

But compared to the terrifying power of the solar beam this slight delay is insignificant!

It's not unlucky to loose this gym battle this time.

She sighed as a grass type gym leader who specialises in grass Pokemon's she was quite satisfied with ash's way of defeating her.

"Vileplume loses the ability to fight Bulbasaur wins!"

"Since all three Pokémon owned by Erika have lost their ability to fight this gym battle will be won by ash from Pallet Town."

"Ash you won this gym battle your bulbasuar is very great Pokemon."

With that said erika took out the Rainbow Badge and handed it to ash.

"Thank you miss Erika you are quite modest if I fought your main team you would have desimated me hehe" ash said as he knows this not a game were gym leader's only have six Pokemons even Brock had a machamp, golem, rhyhorn which he left to his father and brother to take care off because it was originally his father's Pokémons which he was taking care off.

The Badge collection progress is 5/8 and there are only three badges left to participate in the Indigo Plateau Conference in the Kanto Region.

" Ash are you interested in staying at celedon Gym for two days? I have some questions I want to discuss with you."

Seeing that ash was no longer interested in Versailles and accepted the Rainbow Badge Erika suggested with a smile on her face.

"Sorry erika I have a pretty important competition to compete and need to search my friend Brock we can exchange contact info if you have any doubts you want to ask call me I will try to answer as soon as possible" ash said to Ericka in a apolositic manner

"Come back Bulbasaur."

"Misty , Sabrina and Pikachu let's go we need to look for Brock."

Seeing ash leaving Ericka sighed.

She originally wanted to exchange some experiences with each other on training Grass Type Pokémon.

But ash took her contact info let's ask him let's ask him next time what methods he uses for training bulbasuar and before leaving he also noticed her gloom and asked what happened so she said the problem to her surprise ash can understand Pokemon so he asked gloom for the problem.

Gloom doesn't want to evolve because it thinks if it evolves it's smell will also increase which may cause discomfort for her after hearing glooms reason she hugged gloom ash reasurred her that she won't hate gloom even if she doesn't want to evolve.

Ash gave her a alternative idea of evolving her into Bellasome using sunstone which gloom quite liked she was quite impressed by Ash's behaviour in future let's stay in contact as a friend.

[Ericka favorability: 40→65]

After ash left the gym he heard the system notification according to it Ericka have a good impression on him her favourability is now shows she considers him as a good friend.

Ash was satisfied with the notification who doesn't want a grass type gym leader as a friend in future exchange notes and learn some grass type Pokemon training methods

from her.

------------------------------

Many people don't want Ericka for harem so I made it like she will be like a bestie rather than girlfriend or a wife and ash will learn quite knowledge about grass type pokemons from her.

And I also want to clarify the people in Pokemon world doesn't know about level like ash but they measure their strength strength by Pokemon's conditions and characteristics that's why they know they have champion level Pokémon rather than knowing the level only ash will have the ability to see the moves and levels of Pokemon.
