157 Vs. Sabrina Part 3

Ash and Sabrina returned Scizor and Hypno respectively, Sabrina looked over at Ash, "You might as well surrender now, I can count on my hands the number of times I've lost when I activate what you asked for."

Ash just smugly shrugged, "Surge said the same thing and I still kicked his teeth in."

Sabrina had to hold in a snort for that one, and Ash noticed, "Oh is that amusement I hear coming from the 'Cold Beauty' oh what a rare spectacle." Ash said jokingly.

Sabrina pulled out her final Pokeball and looked away, "You're hearing things now pull out your next Pokemon."

Ash smiled, "Alright alright," then he pulled out his next Pokemon.

Sabrina also threw out Alakazam, who had a light yellow amulet around its neck; he could also tell it was a guy because of the longer mustache, he was also affected by the spikes and web.

Meanwhile, Ash let Annihilape, getting visible reactions from everyone in the stands, Sabrina also had one but she kept it to herself.

As soon as Annihilape leaped onto the field Sabrina called out, "[Expanding Force]!"

The mist from the Psychic Terrain began forming and condensing as it all grabbed onto Annihilape and delivered a strike.

Before it did Annihilape managed to bite down on the Payapa Berry he had in his mouth gaining resistance so he wouldn't take super effective damage.

But the attack still hurt causing Annihilape to get angry, Ash noticed and quickly called out, "[Bulk Up] then [Shadow Punch]"

Annihilape got up his muscles visibly expanding as he ran towards Alakazam and jumped forward aiming a dark shadow-covered fist at him, but with a hand motion, Alakazam forced him to go to the ground.

Sabrina looked forward and called out, "[Nasty Plot] then [Tri Attack]."

Alakazam's eyes glowed as his spoons started forming three multi-colored balls that were connected by a small stream, and then launched into Annihilate's side.

Annihilape took it and was still up but getting angrier, "Annihilape [Night Slash] this time."

Annihilape dashed forward as his fists formed a dark purple claw, Alakazam was about to do the same thing as before but as Annihilape was covered with Psychic energy he broke through with pure brute strength and delivered a slash to Alakazam's face.

Annihilape didn't even wait for Ash's order as he then came back around with [Rage Fist] although he was only at 2 stacks, hitting Alakazam in the back.

That seemed to get both Alakazam and Sabrina's attention as they both started getting more serious, "Alakazam use [Shadow Ball] rapid fire"

Ash responded, "Annihilape dodge then get in close with [Poison Jab]"

Alakazam held out a spoon as he started shooting out purple orbs towards Annihilape. Who began jumping over them and running around, eventually resulting in doing a somersault to dodge another and getting in close enough to deliver a purple punch knocking Alakazam back a bit.

Sabrina started looking worried for Alakazam and looked towards the raging monkey and Ash, who gave a little wave.

So Sabrina decided, she rolled up her sleeve revealing a bracelet, "I guess we can go just a little bit farther," then she pushed on it as the light began coming out of it, "Alakazam Mega Evolve!"

Alakazam was covered by a bright light that enveloped the entire stadium, when the light dispersed standing, or rather floating there was Alakazam with 5 spoons floating behind him, his mustache turned into a long beard, becoming Mega-Alakazam.

Mega-Alakazam floated there with his psychic energy oozing out, Annihilape didn't care and just ran up and aimed another punch, but Alakazam just held his hand out and he stopped in mid-air, then in the same motion he pointed up and Annihilape started floating high into the sky.

Sabrina looked up and raised her hand, "Alakazam [Psycho Shift] then [Shadow Ball]"

Mega-Alakazam's eyes glowed as he stared into Annihilape, and transferred the poison to him.

Mega-Alakazam then held his freehand out creating a small orb of shadows, then with a flick, he threw it to the monkey who couldn't dodge, and as soon as it touched it exploded in the sky sending Annihilape falling to the ground.

Although he was neutral to Psychic he was still weak to the others and that included Ghost, so he was hurt but did manage to get back up fairly well.

As Annihilape got up and stared down the overwhelming thought in front of him he couldn't help but laugh, and laughing made him angrier, because that Shadow Ball got the 20% Special Defense drop and that activated his ability, Defiant.

The air around Annihilape changed as his eyes glowed a deeper red and his rage grew, immediately without command he disappeared from sight and reappeared behind Alakazam to deliver a Drain Punch, although it was resisted it was still at +3

Sabrina felt the power of that so she looked towards Alakazam, "Grab him with [Psychic]"

Alakazam's eyes glowed pink as Annihilape was covered in a bright pink energy that began making him float.

"As if," Ash said with his smile growing, "Breakthrough and [Rock Tomb]"

Annihilape puffed from his nose as he struggled for a moment then the energy broke like glass letting him go free and he embedded his fists in the ground creating a shockwave making shards of rock come out and hit Alakazam.

Alakazam got up although he was shaking a bit so Sabrina commanded, "[Recover] then [Calm Mind]"

Alakazam heard this and almost immediately the dust and bruising on him disappeared as he began to meditate.

"Annihilape [Night Slash]" Ash commanded 

'Got you," Sabrina said catching Ash by surprise, "[Thunder Wave]"

Alakazam canceled the meditation and used one of the spoons to send a shock to Annihilape leaving him Paralyzed.

Ash clenched his teeth as Sabrina smiled, "So much for you not getting tricked."

But Ash smiled, "I guess we're all learning something like [Facade]."

Sabrina was surprised as Annihilape fell to his hands and delivered a kick to Alakazam's face while doing a handstand before tensing up again.

Ash smiled back, "Let's go out with a Bang, [Rage Fist]" 

Sabrina clenched her teeth, "Let's end this now, [Dazzling Gleam]"

Annihilape Ran forward with his fist steadily growing he was completely at the max power with one hit he could end this, so at breakneck speeds he appeared in front of Alakazam, but before it landed the Paralysis just slowed him down enough for Alakazam to land the [Dazzling Gleam]

The explosion caused the dust to expand, then Annihilape fell out with spirals in his eyes and Alakazam was still floating there, albeit a bit more traumatized.

Ash returned Annihilape to his ball as he looked at Sabrina finally smiling, "You know for someone who said they don't like battling you sure seem excited."

Sabrina quickly fixed herself as she noticed she was unconsciously smiling, "I don't know what you mean."

Ash smiled back and held out one more Pokeball, "Sure, but remember I'm not out just yet I have one more."

Then he tossed it out revealing Charizard who Soared in the air and looked down at the field as behind him the sunlight seemed to glow brighter.

Sabrina frowned, "Alakazam use [Psychic]"

Ash looked over, "Let's do this, dodge then [Belly Drum]."

Alakazam raised his hand as all the debris started floating behind him then as he threw his hand forward everything began rushing towards Charizard who began maneuvering through the flying rocks.

Once he was at a safe distance he raised his arms and slammed into his stomach, giving him +6 but dealing massive damage in the process but the Sitrus Berry in his mouth helped a bit.

Sabrina of course noticed it and was worried so she looked towards Alakazam, "[Zap Cannon] full power."

Ash looked up, "Breakthrough with [Iron Dragon's Claw]"

Alakazam's spoons centered and formed a cone creating a ray of electricity that shot towards Charizard. Charizard hearing Ash gave a smile as his fist was covered in a purple metal and he dived down arm first colliding with the electricity.

Although he did receive chip damage the dragon typing in his claw deflected most of it as he overpowered it and flew down meaning Alakazam at the source delivering a devastating scratch against him.

Sabrina once again looked worried so in a panic she yelled out, "[Recover]"

As Alakazam healed Sabrina heard Ash's voice, 'Wrong choice'

Before Sabrina could reach Ash called out, "Use [Smokescreen] then [Hurricane] on the ground!"

Charizard breathed out black Smoke from his mouth that fell to the ground, then he flapped his wings as a miniature tornado formed around the center collecting the spikes and Smoke from earlier into the vortex and trapping Alakazam inside.

Sabrina and Alakazam looked around as Charizard disappeared from sight then she noticed something orange to the side, "[Shadow Ball] up there!"

Alakazam created 5 purple collared balls in the air then with flicks he shot each one towards the orange figure, as it exited it managed to force some of the smoke to disperse revealing an orange dragon-lizard.

All 5 [Shadow Balls] collided with Charizard, each exploding on contact and when the fifth landed the figure of Charizard started falling from the sky, getting reactions from people in the cloud.

Sabrina smiled towards Ash, "So it seems it's my victory,"

But unlike what she expected, Ash just smiled, "I hope you didn't think it was that easy…"

Sabrina's eyes widened as she looked over at the falling Charizard, as it landed on the ground she noticed it wasn't Charizard it was a [Substitute]

Ash raised his arm, "This was fun, but remember what I promised, and I plan to make you see that, [Flare Blitz]"

From the top of the tornado, the real Charizard appeared as his body was enveloped in flames and dashed down breaking through the smoke and going down towards Alakazam who had no way to escape.

Sabrina looked forward in the split second she had to think of something to do, Alakazam was trapped, Charizard was speeding towards him, and above all else, this would finish Alakazam.

As she started debating what to do she looked at her hands that shimmered a pink light for just a second, but then in that moment she heard Ash's voice, 'Don't bother, we both know that isn't going to work.'

When she looked up she noticed that the world seemed to be slowing down as she could still see that Ash was looking towards her.

'What did you think I wouldn't find a way to do the same,' Ash's voice rang through her head.

Sabrina's head fell, 'It seems it is my loss, typical even when I tried so hard I can't do this much.'

'Hey don't beat yourself up, it got pretty close by the end, if this was a 4 on 4 I would have lost.'

But Sabrina didn't seem to calm down, 'Why, I'm so Useless, I couldn't beat the Black fog by myself, I can't decide what I want to do by myself, and I can't even beat you so you can stay.'

As Sabrina looked down at herself Ash said something, 'Why does it matter?'

That caused Sabrina to look back up at Ash as he continued, 'Humans are social creatures, we aren't meant to do things alone, it's not a crime to show weakness.'

'I know what you think, that you always make the best decision, that you're different and calculated and cold, but when we were battling I saw your feelings come out'

'Look at Alakazam, when I knocked him down you were worried, if you commanded him to attack again I might have lost, instead, you ordered him to recover, not because it was the best move but because you were worried about him getting hurt.'

'I-I…' Sabrina thought as she looked over at Alakazam

'I'm no expert. But I think people mope when their expectations are too high. It's tiring when you always have to overachieve. Don't Overdo it. Just work on achieving what you can, and if you can't do anything then you do what you can' Ash said as time seemed to continue again.

Charizard crashed through and out of the tornado with the fire kanji '火', as he appeared the smoke ignited behind him creating a miniature controlled explosion near the center creating a burst of hot air to reach everyone

As soon as everyone regained their vision they saw a light coming from the center of the stadium, when they focused their vision they noticed Alakazam getting back to his regular form with spirals in his eyes and Charizard breathing heavily.

Before anyone could react Sabrina walked up and announced, "I have no usable Pokemon left therefore Ash is the winner."

She returned Alakazam then looked towards Ash who was walking towards her, meanwhile, the people in the stands were celebrating after witnessing such a battle.

"Congratulations," Sabrina said as she stood in front of Ash, then she pulled him into a hug, "And thank you"
