142 Vs. Eeveelutions
The stage was set up, on one side the three brothers were doing some Stretches, and on the other Mikey, Yellow, and Brock were waiting with Eevee, Chuchu, and Vulpix respectively.
"I can't do this," Mikey muttered, hugging his Eevee and looking nervous.
"Calm down," Brock said to the boy, "You know your Eevee is strong so all you need is to be confident in yourself."
From behind Brock was nodding, "Yeah, and Chuchu and Vulpix are also strong so I know we can do it!"
"Uhh, yeah," Mikey said.
Brock looked at the three brothers, "So what do you know about them, how they battle I mean, is there anything we can use to our advantage?"
Mikey looked a little shocked but got himself together, "Uhh, yeah they're my brothers so I know a bit,"
Yellow looked at the boy, "They're your brothers and they still tried to force you to choose?"
"Y-yeah, they aren't exactly the most selfless brothers, but they do treat me nicely."
Mikey then took a breath and looked at Brock, "Well I know they don't usually battle together, they prefer showing off more than anything, and they usually compete with each other all the time."
Brock scratched his chin, "Interesting, we might be able to use that to our advantage."
The man walked up to the top of the stage and spoke up, "THE BATTLE WILL NOW BEGIN, AS THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE Knights of the E Stone, WE HAVE Sparky and Jolteon, Pyro and Flareon, AND Rainer and Vaporeon!."
"And on the other side, we have Mikey and 2 random kids who weren't invited."
"WE WILL BE USING STANDARD LEAGUE RULES, BOTH SIDES MAY NOW RELEASE YOUR POKEMON!"
"All right! Go, Jolteon!" Sparky yelled, gesturing dramatically.
"Flareon!" Pyro yelled.
"Vaporeon!" Rainer rounded out, imitating his brothers' dramatic Posing.
"Onto the battlefield!" they all yelled at once making the three eeveelutions jump into a pose that seemed way too well practiced.
Yellow and Brock both looked at Mikey who just looked down embarrassed at the poses his brothers were making.
"CONTESTANTS RELEASE YOUR POKEMON OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!" the man yelled, getting everyone's attention.
"Uhh- Go Chuchu!"
"Vulpix, do your best."
Both Brock and Yellow called out letting their two small Pokemon out, Mikey hesitated but when Eevee gave him a nod he calmed down.
"Ee-Eevee try your hardest," he called as Eevee stepped forward next to the other small Pokemon.
"Chuchu try a [Double team] and surround them!" Yellow commended
Chuchu nodded as she started running around the 3 eeveelutions duplicating herself until there was a smiling army surrounding them.
"Now [Thunder Shock]!"
"U-um Eevee [Helping Hand] Chuchu" Mikey added
As the clones were running their cheeks started sparking, and Eevee chewed in the corner causing each of them to get invigorated and launch multiple shocks aiming for Vaporeon and Flareon.
"No you don't, Jolteon jump in the way!" Sparky yelled out.
"Don't forget about me, Vulpix separate them with Fire Spin," Brock called out.
As Jolteon was about to jump a wave of flame exited Vulpix's mouth that Fired a wall in front of the electric fox, then it surrounded it from all sides causing the Thunder Shock to connect.
"Vaporeon, [Acid armor] and hide behind Flareon!" Rainer commended.
Vaporeon's body immediately turned to water as it went behind Flareon causing it to take the majority of the damage and Vaporeon to be more or less fine.
"Haha, you see that Mikey, Vaporeon is able to alter its molecular structure to match that of water, isn't that awesome, how can you beat the very elements themselves!" Rainer said, trying to get Mikey's attention.
"Hey, what's the big idea!" Pyro yelled at his brother
"Hey don't blame me, this is a battle focus on your side," Rainer said looking away.
"Grr, fine then, Flareon use your own [Fire Spin]!" the redhead commanded.
Once Flareon recovered from the shock it shook its head and shot out a pillar of fire that surrounded all the Pokemon around them.
"Bwa ha ha ha, Flareon can shoot flames that exceed 700 degrees, writhe in the flames of damnation!" Pyro raised his arms in the air.
"Hey, genius you locked me out!" Sparky yelled out gesturing at Jolteon who was outside the ring of fire.
"You can attack from back there, you should be thanking me at least yours is safe," Pyro said waving it off.
"You're just trying to make it so Mikey can't see how totally awesome Jolteon is!"
'Fine, Jolteon [Pin Missile] barrage!" Sparky commanded
Jolteon's back spikes extended as it aimed into the fire and launched 4 in the direction of Vulpix. The attack approached quickly and since Vulpix was controlling the Fire she couldn't react until a voice yelled out.
"E-Eevee jump in and use [Reflect]" the voice of Mikey yelled out
Eevee jumped in front of Vulpix and a clear barrier appeared in front of the two foxes as it managed to block the spikes of hair.
"Nice one Mikey!" Brock said as Mikey was breathing heavily, seemingly he didn't think that would have worked.
Then Brock concentrated back on the battle, "My turn, Vulpix use [Confuse Ray] on the Flareon!"
3 purple orbs were released from Vulpix's tail as they moved in an unconventional pattern and started spinning around and when they exploded into light Flareon looked dizzy and made it drop the [Fire spin] surrounding them.
As the fire went down Sparky smiled, "Serves you right, now I will show all of you, Mikey pay close attention I'll show you why Jolteon is the best!"
"Prepare for the Thunder of damnation!" Sparky said as he raised both fists into the air.
"Is damnation all you ever talk about?" Brock said dryly
Sparky stopped his dramatic attack and looked over at Brock, "Yes. If it was Thunder of salvation you would be saved wouldn't you?"
From the corner on the table Ash's voice was heard, "We're looking for originality here!"
Jolteon was charging its attack as electricity courses around it, but although the name says thunder it's just a [Thunder Shock].
"Chuchu jump in the way!" Yellow shouted.
Chuchu managed to get in front of the electricity and absorbed it as her cheeks started lighting up brighter.
"Now Chuchu use [Nuzzle] on Flareon!"
"Eevee [Helping hand]" Mikey added.
As Chuchu was running forward the cheers of Eevee started invigorating her as she ran towards Flareon.
"Flareon dodge," Pyro tried to command,
Flareon tried moving but it fell over from the confusion, causing Chuchu to get close enough to rub its cheeks together with it, leaving it Paralyzed.
Brock looked forward, "My turn, [Flamethrower] on Jolteon"
Vulpix had the line opened for the electric fox, so with a large breath she released a [Flamethrower] aiming directly at Jolteon.
"Vaporeon quickly block!" Rainer commanded as Vaporeon started running towards the fire to jump in the way.
Mikey took a breath and yelled, "Eevee [Return]!"
Just as Vaporeon jumped into the air to block the fire, Eevee tackled it in the stomach pushing it out of the way causing the fire to engulf Jolteon.
Sparky grit his teeth and looked at his brothers, "Come on we are looking like fools, try harder."
Pyro looked offended, "Me, I've been doing all the work you're the one that has been slacking!"
"Both of you shut up," Rainer said, "Temporary truce so we can win then we can argue on who Mikey's Eevee evolves into."
"Fine" x2 the brothers said begrudgingly.
"Helping Hand!" all three brothers yelled.
"Thunder Shock!" Sparky added.
"Ember!" Pyro rejoined.
"Water Gun!" Rainer called.
As all the eeveelutions cheered for each other they all released their individual attacks aiming for the three little Pokemon fighting them. Each one landed causing the three to take a lot of damage but they were still up.
As this was happening Ash and Misty were still sitting at a corner table enjoying the show, Misty looked over at Ash and asked, "So do you think we should do something?"
Ash gave a heavy sigh, "Fine."
Then he raised his voice and slightly changed it, "WOW THEY'RE ALL SO COOL BUT JOLTEON IS THE COOLEST!"
After that Ash sat back down and without looking at Misty he said, "I give it a minute at max."
The result of what he said was heard by everyone, especially by the three brothers.
Sparky raised his nose to the air, "Ha you hear that, even they think Jolteon is the best, you hear that Mikey!"
"Hey, what's the big idea!"
"We had a deal!"
"Hey what can I do if the crowd knows which is the best," Sparky said, shrugging his arms and closing his eyes.
"Chuchu use [Thunder Shock]" Yellow commanded taking advantage of the brothers arguing
"Vulpix [Dark Pulse] on Flareon" Brock did the same.
"Mikey you're in this too!"
Chuchu shot out a small bolt of electricity at the water fox, who didn't have anywhere to hide this time, and Vulpix shot an orb of darkness at Flareon who couldn't dodge since it was still paralyzed.
Both attacks hit, causing the two eeveelutions to skid across the ground and out of the field, but one was missing.
"You forgot about me, now prepare for my strongest attack, Jolteon [Shadow Ball]."
Jolteon raised its head as a ball of shadow started charging in its mouth and just as it was almost ready a voice came out.
"Eevee use [Mimic]!" Mikey's voice rang out through the room.
Eevee raised its mouth and charged a [Shadow Ball] of its own, the two were launched at the same time and collided causing the middle to explode in dust obscuring everyone's vision.
But before anyone could see anything Mikey's voice rang again, "Now end this with [Return]!"
Eevee came out running from the dust cloud much to everyone's surprise and before either Jolteon or Sparky could react, the small fox tackled Jolteon knocking the air out of it and sending it flying out of the field as well.
As the last eeveelution fell the room stayed quiet until the man spoke up.
"T-they won.. All three eeveelutions are unable to battle so, Mikey and the two are the winners!"
The room erupted into cheers as the members where chanting
"GO MIKEY GO"
"GO MIKEY GO"
"GO MIKEY GO"
"GO MIKEY GO"
"All right!" Yellow cheered, jumping up and down before running over to Mikey, who looked stunned. "Did you hear that? We won!"
"We did," Mikey said blankly. "That's…wow...I can't believe it."
"VEE!" Mikey's Eevee cheered as it jumped into his arms and nuzzled with him.
The older man walked up to Mikey as his brothers seemingly switched back to their robes and were patting their brother on the back, almost tearing up.
"Mikey...we of the Knights of the e stone are proud to induct you into our fellowship." the man said as he put the dumb hat onto Mikey's head.
As he was looking in awe of the hat Ash and Misty finally walked over, and Ash being the completely sensitive and understanding person he is said to be.
"Mikey, You actually want to wear that weird hat?"
"Yeah!" Mikey said as he adjusted the hat that was clearly too big for his head.
The man then turned to look at the group and held another hat, "We would also be proud to induct you into…"
"We don't want it x4," all 4 of them said at the same time.
