Vs The 3 Sensational Sisters
(a few days before Ash and co enter the Gym)
(Misty POV)
Misty was walking back with about 10 more Pokemon than she left with, she was begrudgingly walking back to Cerulean City to get to her family's Gym.
'I don't like coming back here, but until I become old enough to take over the Gym I need to make sure it doesn't lose the support from the league. So every few months I need to bring back some more Water Pokemon to the Gym so that they can support the city, but knowing those three they are using them for their show.'
Misty sighs as she walks by a familiar kid training by the Pokemon center, it was Ash.
'What is he doing here?' Misty thought before seeing a Yellow-headed girl with a sunhat watching him train, she decided to ask her about what he was doing.
"Excuse me, can I ask you a question?" Misty asked trying not to get Ash's attention.
Yellow turned to her and was startled for a moment before catching herself, "Hello I'm Yellow, who are you?"
"I'm Misty, can I ask you what he is doing?" Misty said, pointing towards Ash.
"Oh, well he is training for the Gym, although everyone keeps telling him he doesn't need to," Yellow answered.
Misty's eye twitched a little before she asked, "Why do you say that?"
"Well everyone in town including my friend Brock has said that this Gym normally will just give out the Badge if you ask, and even when they do battle they are not good at it," Yellow answered seemingly unaware of the anger Misty was holding back.
"Those sisters of mine," Misty mumbled, before releasing what she said and looking at Yellow.
Yellow seemed confused, "I'm sorry, did you say something?"
"Well not exactly, but never mind what I said doesn't matter, thank you for answering my question goodbye," Misty said quickly then ran away before Yellow could ask another question.
'How dare they, I'm going to show them what this forgotten sister can do, I'll blow the wigs off their heads.'
(Back to the present)
(Ash Pov)
Looking at the Gym it was the polar opposite of Brock's Gym, instead of a simple small Gym that looks like it was made into a rock, this was a big pristine arena, there was a crowd and lights since there was a show going on.
They had to buy tickets to enter the stadium, Brock and Yellow went to watch the show and Ash went to ask about the Gym battle he was told he needed to wait until after the show, so he just went to sit with Brock and Yellow, but as he sat down he notes a certain orange head sitting in a corner.
'Just my luck, I knew this would happen, well there is no point crying in my head, well I want to save Pikachu as a last resort since I have a plan for when team Rocket decides to break in. Oddish should be able to at least take down 2 of them and probably evolve but it depends on who I end up fighting..'
As he finished thinking the show officially started and a spotlight revealed the three Sensational Sisters, the crowd was yelling and Brock was swooning, and Pikachu was mesmerized by the show.
After the show most people left and Ash went down to approach them. Well, more like he leaned on the wall as he heard their Valley Girl accent.
As they noticed him they stopped, "Sorry you're cute and all, but if you want an interview you need to like to talk to our manager" Lily started talking.
Ash sighed, "No, I'm not here for that I came here for the Gym battle"
All the sisters started looking away before Daisy started, "Umm, do you actually want to battle us, if you want you can just have the Badge".
'Well to be honest I would like to accept but if I do Brock, Yellow, and especially Pikachu will not let me live it down' Ash thought before answering, "I would like to at least earn it".
The sisters sighed as well before Violet answered, "Well then we the Sensational Sisters will accept your challenge, each of us will use 1 Pokemon and you will be allowed to use 3."
Ash nodded before going onto the battlefield and looked around the bleachers, he saw Brock and Yellow watching, but he also saw Misty in the corner.
Ash shook his head and pulled out a Pokeball, "Scyther go have some fun" Releasing a large Mantis-like Pokemon with blades in his hands, Misty, in the stands shivered seeing a bug type, but the sisters looked more confident seeing it, 'just as planned'.
Violet stepped forward, "Shellder you can do this" releasing a purple shell Pokemon with eyes and a tongue.
Brock saw this and shouted from the stands, "Ash watch out that Pokemon has Ice-type moves that are super effective against Scyther!" and Yellow nodded along.
"That's interesting isn't it," Ash said before looking at Violet, "Too bad I don't plan on being hit"
"Like we'll see, use Ice Shard" Violet ordered as Shellder began shooting out ice at Scyther.
"Scyther Double team then Swords Dance" Ash commanded as the Icicles hit an afterimage of Scyther as multiple clones appeared and started setting up a Swords Dance.
"Shellder quick withdraw", Shellder closed its Shell trying to protect itself before the attack that was coming.
"Scyther, it has to come out eventually, use Swords dance again" The Scyther clones started surrounding the clam and setting up more Swords dance
"Shellder use Icicle spear on as many as you can"
"Scyther end this with Fury Cutter"
Shellder opened its shell and started blasting as many Scyther clones until approached the real Scyther, so Scyther used its blades to hit it leaving behind a smoke screen of ice, everyone was waiting to see what happened until Scyther cut the smoke and slashed Shellder not once, not twice but 4 times.
"Shellder, Return," Violet said sadly
Brock saw this and started monologuing, "Impressive, Ash knew this would happen exactly how he faced me, he used Scyther to draw out Shellder who he knew would cower allowing him to set up more swords dance, with that boost the chances that he will lose is next to zero."
Yellow was cheering but Misty also heard Brock and was frustrated.
Lily looked towards Daisy and she nodded and approached the battlefield, "Well now it is my turn" Lily said as she stepped up, "Go Goldeen", Lily released a fish Pokemon with a horn.
Scyther and Ash had no intention of switching out,
"Goldeen, Horn attack" Lily commanded and the horn on the fish began to spin and it threw itself to Scyther.
"Scyther Quick attack to dodge then take your final Swords Dance." Scyther dashed and merged back with the remaining clones and they all finished going +6.
"Goldeen try a Quick attack and Peck" Lily commanded as Golden dashed at high speeds using its horn to try and hit Scyther.
"Scyther Wing Attack" Scyther dashed towards the fish and used one wing to clash with the horn then used the second wing to hit the fish directly sending the fish flying out of the field, and unable to battle.
Lily Returned Goldeen and Daisy came forward, "I'm up then" before clapping, "Seel". Before a small Seel wobbled up to her side of the field.
"Seel use Icy wind." Seel sent out a cloud of ice toward the Group of Scyther clones.
Brock continued to monologue, "The strategy is good with Icy wind even if it doesn't hit Scyther it will get rid of the clones that Scyther left behind. But considering how Ash has handled the battle as of now I am sure that he has a Plan."
On the Battlefield the Icy wind hit all of the Scythers, the sisters looked happy and were about to celebrate before they released that Scyther was never with the clones.
"Where is your Pokemon?" Daisy started Panicking a little as she looked around and couldn't find the bug anywhere.
"Well this was fun I guess, but I think we should end this now Scyther Slash," Ash commanded.
For a second nothing happened and everyone looked towards Ash before he smirked and Pointed down, then everyone realized what that meant before Daisy could call out for Seel to move. Scyther came jumping out of the Water and Slashed at the Seel, sending it out of the field.
Scyther looked bored, he was expecting more Ash patted him on his shoulder and returned him since he already was expecting a certain someone to come out and potentially battle him.
"Well then congratulations you have beat the three of us" Daisy approached.
"That was totally humiliating" Lily also spoke up.
"Well don't feel too bad about it, I did plan on how to beat all of you before even coming into the Gym," Ash responded
"Well since you have defeated all of the Sensational Sisters," Daisy said before she grabbed a Badge, "As such you will now be rewarded with the–"
Before Daisy could finish, another voice called out yelling "HOLD IT!!" Everyone looked to where the voice came from and they saw a girl jump down from the stands revealing Misty, 'What a surprise.'
"You haven't won yet, because there is one Sensational Sister left, it is I Misty".

Wow, this chapter dragged on much longer than I planned it would, just for reference the next chapter is both done and longer than this one, so I just cut it into two parts.
