147 I’m willing to forgive you

"Ohh, Hey Sabrina," Ash said as an ominous feeling covered everyone, "It's been a while how have you been."

"...I thought you said you were just going to go after Cerulean Gym then you were coming back, but here I find out you went after Fuchsia Gym as well," Sabrina said.

"Really? I don't recall saying any of that," Ash said as he slightly looked away scratching his cheek.

"You know, a lot of stuff happened after you all left, I've been thinking about what you told me, to be honest, I'm not actually a huge fan of battling, and yet I am really good at it so I never bothered thinking about anything else," Sabrina said as she started approaching.

The atmosphere turned ominous as everyone stayed quiet and Ash tried defusing the situation, "Ohh, well that's great to hear, I'm happy you put some thought into what I asked."

Sabrina stopped in front of Ash, her pink eyes looking directly at him, "Yes, I've also got into contact with the other gym leaders more."

Ash felt the cold sweat dripping down his neck, "Ohh, goody."

"So for that…." Sabrina said ominously, when suddenly she gave a small bow, "Thank you."

Immediately above everyone's head was a large ….., then collectively they all said, "Ehhhh!"

Sabrina got up and looked confused, "Did I say something weird."

"Why did you talk like that!" Misty Yelled, "I felt like you were about to turn me into a doll!"

Sabrina tilted her head in confusion, "I'm Sorry?"

"Why do I not believe you," Misty mumbled

But Ash cut Misty off, "Well that's all dandy but you know we need to get lodgings ready and I still need some time to prepare for our battle so we really should go."

As Ash turned around he felt the tug on his arm looking behind him Sabrina was grabbing his arm, "There's no need for that you can come to my house."

"No no, I wouldn't want to bother you, besides don't you have a family there might be some misunderstandings,"

"That wasn't a Question," Sabrina said, and Ash could almost swear that he saw spirals in her pink eyes.

"But I'm going to stay here for about a week to train,"

"That's fine, there is a training field in my house, my parents won't mind," Sabrina responded, tightening her grip.

"What about m-my friends?" Ash said, gesturing over.

"Yellow can come," Sabrina said.

"What about the other two?"

"What about them?"

"…"

"…"

Ash turned to his friends and collectively they all looked away and whistled, making Ash's eye twitch.

A few moments later Ash and Yellow with Pikachu and Chuchu were walking into a mansion, it wasn't the gym but it was nearby, the building itself was extremely large and inside there were at least a few servants cleaning.

As they walked in the servants noticed them and bowed, "The young mistress has returned."

Then as soon as they said that the voice of a woman rang out, "Oh Sabrina your back!"

From the top of the stairs, a beautiful young woman with light brown hair came rushing down, as she got about halfway through she tripped over her foot, but before she could fall she was covered in a light purple energy and Sabrina's eyes were glowing the same color.

"Mother, it is good to see you, but you should be more careful," Sabrina said as she put her mother down at the bottom of the stairs.

Sabrina's mother chuckled and taped on her own head, "Eto Bleh"

Then she noticed Ash and Yellow, "Oh Sabrina you brought friends!"

She went onto her knees and bowed, "Nice to meet you. I am Sabrina's mother, but you can call me, Shuko." then she put her hands into a peace sign next to her head, "And I'm Forever 17!"

The three stared at her saying that and sounding completely genuine, Sabrina didn't seem bothered which meant this wasn't the first time.

Ash almost felt himself cringe as he thought, 'What in the Komi copyright infringement is going on here.'

As Shuko was on the floor she was covered in a blue light as she was picked up and flew in the air, from behind an older-looking man walked in, "Sorry about her, it's nice to meet you. I'm Sabrina's father but just call me Takurou."

Ash sighed, "Hi I'm Ash, and this is Yellow."

"Nice to meet you, I have to say this is a little weird since Sabrina has never invited anyone over, she usually avoids human interaction as much as she can."

"Yeah well sorry to impose, I came here to take on the gym challenge and Sabrina invited us to stay here," Ash said, scratching the back of his head.

"It's fine." Takurou said, "Would you like to join us for dinner, or should I show you to your rooms?"

As soon as the thought of food exerted his mouth, Abra popped her head out and looked around.

"I guess, Dinner would be fine," Ash said as Abra jumped out.

"Aww, how cute, it looks just like Sabrina's when she was small," Shuko said, still floating in the air.

"Very well, I'll tell the servants to prepare enough for you all and your Pokemon, Sabrina, you can lead them to the dining room."

"Yes, Father," Sabrina said as she just started walking, so Ash and Yellow followed.

As they left Takurou put Shuko down as she looked towards him, "So any thoughts Mr. Psychic."

Takurou rolled his eyes, "Yes, they both seem to have the gift, at least the girl, the boy is different somehow."

"Well, you could always ask him, after all, you're not as secretive as you used to be," Shuko said, easing her husband.

"Please don't remind me, those days I spent working there are full of nothing but regret, I don't want Sabrina finding out."

"Why, she isn't a child anymore she's going to find out eventually, especially as her powers grow," Shuko said tilting her head

"...Yes, you have a point after all she has already surpassed me in strength, but I don't know how she'll react when she finds out I was once a Part of Team Rocket."

{A few hours later}

"And that's the situation," Ash said, sitting by one of the computers Sabrina's family had.

The other person on the screen was his mother, Delia, "Oh, well that, I meeeean, sounds like you brought this upon yourself."

"Please don't start this, I'm already confused as is."

"Aww, so my cute little Ash doesn't want to talk to his mother anymore, I want my cute son back," Delia said jokingly.

Ash rolled his eyes, "I'm hanging up, I still need to do some stuff."

"K, and be sure to visit when you have time the professor told me you have an Abra-" Ash hung up.

Ash leaned back in the chair and looked across to where Yellow was walking over, "So how' is everyone?"

Yellow tilted her hand slightly, "I mean they got a hotel, if that means anything."

Ash dug his face into his hands, "It's fine, we'll go see them tomorrow, but this has all just been weird."

"It is quite weird, especially out of the blue," the familiar voice of Takurou rang out.

When they looked at where it came from they saw him waiting for them so Yellow gave a small bow, "Sorry again for intruding so suddenly."

"No it's fine," Takurou said, waving it off, "Anyway I wanted to ask you two about something."

"You see Sabrina told me about some people that helped her, against the Black Fog, that was you wasn't it."

Ash frowned, "I have no idea what you're talking about, we just met and we are just friends."

"Nice try, I may not be able to read your mind, but your little friend isn't as experienced," Takurou said as he looked at Yellow.

"You know it's not nice to invade someone's mind without permission," Ash said looking at him but not doing anything yet.

"And I apologize, but it is important for honesty, for both of us," Takurou said as he looked away.

"You see, Sabrina and I are both psychics, we possess the ability to control the world around us." As he was speaking he pulled out a spoon and bent it like a pretzel as he made it float closer to them.

"I have reason to believe you two possess the same, I would like to offer you two to train to learn to control them."

Ash and Yellow both looked at each other, then Ash looked at him, "Look I get where you're coming from, but there's just one problem with that."

"Oh? Do tell."

Ash smiled as his eyes shined a royal blue color, and then suddenly the spoon fell, no it wasn't just that Takurou couldn't pick it up, in fact, he couldn't feel his psychic powers.

"We aren't the same as you, Yellow is a psychic but she gets them from a blessing, and I'm not a psychic at all," Ash said as he picked up the spoon and straightened it without touching it.

"M-my powers, how did you-"

"I just turned them off for a bit, don't worry I can turn it on any time I want, anyway I have some stuff I want to get done before it gets too late, night Yellow," Ash said as he started walking out and gave Takurou his powers back meanwhile Pikachu stayed with Yellow.

Takurou looked at Ash's back, "Then what are you?"

Ash turned back as Abra teleported onto his shoulder, "I like the sound of Aura guardian."

{Pallet Town}

Oak was doing some research, this was supposedly the last day Ash was going to let him have Annihilape before he took him back for training to battle the gym.

The sun was close to setting and he was still at his desk working, Annihilape was sitting in the corner eating some berries and feeding Ash's Growlithe. Vulpix was nowhere to be seen but he was presumably looking to find his own food.

Dragonite walked in holding a tray with a cup of coffee as she handed it to Oak and he thanked her.

Oak looked at Annihilape and Growlithe and looked to the ceiling, "If only Ash and Gary chose to be researchers, then I could have already left the lab to them and I could retire."

But Dragonite responded by giving him a punch to the head as she looked at him angrily, "Drag-Dragonite Dragonite![You want them to take care of your work so you can be lazy hmm! Do you want them to have gray hairs in their 30s like you.]"

Oak looked sheepishly, "No no, I'm just saying I feel like they would have thrived if they chose to become researchers like me, besides I did all my research alone, they'd have a team and me, hehe"

"No she's right I would have hated to have your job," a familiar voice rang out, looking at where it came from it was Ash holding the now sleeping Growlithe in his arms.

"Ash what ar- '' Oak started but Dragonite beat him to it as she pulled him into a hug, he had to raise Growlithe out of harm's way so she wouldn't wake up.

"Ooo, yeah I missed you too but can you let me go? I feel my ribs breaking," Ash said as a crack was being heard.

Dragonite let go and apologized sheepishly as she took Growlithe.

"Umm, Ash, would you mind telling me why you're here at this hour, or more accurately how?"

"Abra," Ash said as he helped Annihilape get back up, "I thought I should come deposit some guys and take Annihilape back myself."

"Umm, but couldn't you have done this all by computer?"

"I could have, but then I wouldn't be able to talk to you as effectively," Ash said as he looked out of the window.

"By the way, where's Oddish?"

"Oh, she is near the forest area taking care of some of the smaller Pokemon."

"Cool," Ash said as he tossed out two Pokeballs revealing Victreebel and Vileplume, "Alright you know the deal, you two aren't going to be too useful in the next two gyms so I', leaving you here, your friend is over there teacher a thing or two."

As soon as he said that Victreebel and Vileplume, both looked at each other and started running in the direction of their old friend.

Then he walked through the lab like he owned it completely acting like Oak went around and saw Krabby under the desk, she was significantly bigger and finally reached regular size.

"Have you seen Krabby's Pokeball, I'm taking her with me," Ash said.

"O-oh yes on the side table first drawer down," Oak said, Ash followed the instructions and found the ball.

"All right let's go," Ash said as he returned Krabby to her Pokeball.

"Erm, Ash, would you mind telling me why you're actually here, you wouldn't be here just for that."

"Haaa, well I guess I can't get anything past you professor," Ash said as he was putting Krabby on his belt.

"Well remember how you gave away my starter and I had to work with a random Pikachu," Ash said in full confidence since Pikachu wasn't here.

"Err, yes I'm still sorry about that, but I have a way to make it up to you, I've written down my notes of my training techniques," Oak said as he pulled out a notebook.

Ash shook his head and gave the notebook back, "There's no need for that, I'm willing to forgive you and I just want one thing."

"Really, what is it? As long as it's in my power and not too unreasonable I'll do my best to make things right."

"Oh it's nothing too unreasonable I just want you to help me get into contact with two People," Ash said giving an innocent smile.

Oak looked confused but shrugged it off, "Alright, who do you want to talk to? I can set it up in person or virtual, your choice."

Then Ash's smile turned evil, "Oh nothing too big, I just want to meet Professor Mirror and the Champion Lance."
