27 Archer

After everyone had eaten, including Seymour who seemed like he forgot to Pack food. After which they Packed everything and Seymour decided to ask them to accompany him to the cave to see if they could solve what was causing Pokemon to leave the cave.

Brock and Yellow both agreed without a thought, Brock wanted to try to do something about the Geodude line and the Zubats, and Yellow just didn't want more death.

So Seymour decided to take them to the entrance of the cave, as soon as they were there, they noticed that the walls of the cave were strung up all around the cave.

"See, these lights and whatever is causing these vibrations are confusing and forcing Pokemon to leave," Seymour said.

"But who do you think is doing all of this?" Brock asked as they continued walking deeper into the cave.

"Well I can't say for sure, but I can say this has to be a large-scale operation, at least 10 people with industrial-grade equipment to be able to shake the entire Mountain," Seymour explained.

As they continued walking they finally came across a small pink Pokemon, it was Clefairy, although this Clefairy seemed much dirtier and more scared than originally, it was still holding a Moon stone, although it seemed smaller than the one Clefairy had in the Anime.

"A Clefairy? They never come out this close to the entrance, although this one seems to have suffered because of whatever is happening." Seymour said as the Clefairy saw them and started backing away slowly.

"Aww, It's so cute! Hello Clefairy," Yellow said as she approached with a smile on her face and approached.

The Clefairy seemed to have gotten even more scared and Ran off as fast as it could until it disappeared into a different path of the cave.

"Wait," Yellow tried to stop it, but the Pink Pokemon was already gone

Brock went up and put a hand on Yellow's shoulder, "Clefairy are shy of humans, even if it didn't seem to have some kind of trauma you can't just approach one out of nowhere."

"Ok, I guess I got carried away, but I still wanted to hug it," Yellow said sheepishly.

But as soon as Yellow said that they heard a cry from the direction the Clefairy went, "FAAAIIIRRRYYY!"

As they all heard this they went to where they heard the sound and they saw 3 Team Rocket grunts that took the Moonstone from the Clefairy and kicked it away.

"Hehe, I see this Pink Puffball gave us a Moon stone, how kind." Grunt 1 said as he held up the Moon stone.

"Hey, I hear these Pokemon are also pretty rare, why don't we take it to the Boss" Grund 2 said as he put his boot on the Clefairy.

"Or we could Sell it ourselves, I know one family who would pay a pretty penny for a Pokemon for their precious Daughter." Grunt 3 said as he pulled out a Whip.

'What the Heck!?, why are their normal grunts isn't it just supposed to be Jessie and James' Ash thought.

Brock frowned and whispered, "It's Team Rocket, we need to –" Before he was interrupted.

"Stop what you are doing, do you feel no remorse for your actions, how could you do this to all of the Pokemon of the Mountain!" Seymour walked forward Yelling out for everyone to hear.

Ash, Yellow, Brock, and Pikachu: Surprised Pikachu Face

Ash sighed, "Well there goes the element of surprise," he said with his hand on his face as he pulled out Nidoran♂'s Pokeball.

"Who are you, what do you think you are doing? This Mountain is Property of Team Rocket now." Grunt 1 said.

"Yeah, so how about you hand over your Pokemon and we will consider letting you leave with only one broken leg." Grunt 3 said, snapping his Whip.

"How about no" Ash said walking out of his hiding spot, which Brock followed as he pulled out Zubat's Pokeball.

"So what whether there are 1 or 100, You can't win," Grunt 2 said Kicking the Clefairy away.

All three of the grunts then pulled out Pokeballs and sent out 3 Grimer, Ash sent out Nidoran♂ and Brock sent out his Zubat.

All three Grimer rushed forward and each used Sludge, which was not effective at all since both Nidoran and Zubat had the Poison typing.

"Zubat, use Supersonic on the walls" Brock commended, as the bat shot out a soundwave that with the help of the narrow cave did not allow the Grimer to dodge, leaving them Confused.

"Nidoran, use Confusion on all three," Ash commanded as Nidoran sent out a Psychic Attack that was super effective on all three, Knocking them out almost immediately.

"I can't believe it, we lost to children, just like those idiots we lost," Grunt 1 said.

"Who are you calling an Idiot you idiots," a new voice came from in the cave.

"Oh look who we have it's the twerp" another voice came out from the same direction.

"You know what that means"

♪ Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: Make it double!

As they were chanting even the grunts looked frustrated seeing them start, "Are they always like this" Ash asked them.

"Unfortunately, they have some kind of competition with 2 other people so they make a new motto every year or so." Grunt 1 said

Jessie: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth! That's right! ♪

(BTW should I add the chant every time or do something like this?)

"Well, well, well who do we have here, a few kids and some useless Grunts" a new voice came from the same opening.

"Well I think we should show them who's Boss don't you think." another voice said, causing both Jessie and James to look back.

♪ Cassidy: Prepare for trouble...

Butch: ...and make it double!

Both: Here's our mission, so you better listen!

Cassidy: To infect the world with devastation!

Butch: To blight all people in every nation!

Cassidy: To denounce the goodness of truth and love!

Butch: To extend our wrath to the stars above!

Cassidy: Cassidy!

Butch: And Butch, of course!

Cassidy: We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night.

Butch: Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight! ♪

At this point, Ash pulled out a Pack of cards and was playing against the grunts.

"What do you think you're doing, this twerp is ours, we have some unfinished business." Yelled Jessie

"So this kid is the one that stopped you, makes sense takes an incompetent kid to stop incompetent grunts," Cassidy answered back.

"How about we show you how real Team Rocket members steal Pokemon" Butch responded pulling out a Pokeball.

"No way this twerp and his Pokemon are ours, you're not going to take this from us" James responded, pulling out his Pokeball.

Jessie and Cassidy pulled out their Pokeballs as well and all 4 of them released their Pokemon to battle.

Jessie and James sent out their Ekans and Koffing, Cassidy released her Rattata and Butch released a Mankey.

(Meanwhile)

"Since we're playing Blackjack what are the bets," Ash said shuffling the Deck

"How about 10" Grunt 3 said as he grabbed a water bottle and took a sip.

"Alright 10,000" Ash said, pulling out some money and putting it in the Pot.

Grunt 3 saw this and spit his water onto one of his friend's face.

Cassidy: Rattata use Quick attack

Jessie: Ekans grab that rat and use Poison Sting.

Butch: Mankey use Karate Chop on that floating ball of trash

James: Koffing use Poison Gas.

As the 4 Pokemon collided they literally went into a Looney toons style brawl with Poison Gas covering the battle.

After the battle gas cleared they saw their Pokemon all still up, until all the Pokemon fell at the same time.

"No!, Return" x4

"Oh it's over, by the way, I win," Ash said looking over to the 4 fighting and setting out his cards.

At this point, Ash had won so much that they had to use the Moon stone they got as a bet which they also lost.

Ash got up, "Alright who do I need to beat," dusting himself off.

"We won Obviously," Jessie responded

"What, no way your Pokemon fell before ours, we won" Cassidy responded.

"No way we still have one Pokemon," James responded

"Meowth! That's right!" Meowth responded Jumping up.

"He doesn't count he didn't even fight" Butch Yelled back

As they continued arguing they heard another Voice, "What do you all think you are doing"

As all the Grunts heard this Voice they all went pale recognizing this Voice. They turned around to see Archer walking forward.

Ash also became pale seeing him, 'Why is he here, there is no way I stand a chance against him this isn't the game he has his entire team with him." Ash thought as he looked around to find a place to run.

"Well I'm waiting, what are you all doing?" Archer repeated himself

"W-well umm, you see" Cassidy was thinking about what to say.

"It was that twerp" Jessie interrupted pointing at Ash, "He is the one we told you about, he beat all 7 of us,"

"Well it seems I underestimated you," Archer said to Ash, "Or I overestimated my incompetent Grunts, probably the latter."

"Well I'm lucky I don't have time for you, I got what we came for so I'll Make it Quick," Archer said as he pulled out his Houndoom.

"Wait before you do something I have one thing to say," Ash said as he looked at Pikachu, who seemingly understood.

"Ohh, how interesting, who am I to deny you your request," Archer said

"Thank you, I just want to say… Pikachu Use Thundershock on the floor!" Ash commanded as Pikachu sent electricity to the ground causing smoke to rise obscuring all of their vision.

Ash then grabbed Yellow and Seymour and signaled to Brock, Yelling, "Nigerundayo!!!" Running away.

Seeing this Archer Laughed a little, "Running away, seems I was right."

More grunts came from the cave and asked, "Should we go after them?"

"No need, we already got what we came here for," Archer said as he pulled out a small box.

"But wouldn't it be better t–" One grunt was cut off as something grabbed his neck and started Choking him.

It was Archer's Houndoom that used his tail to grab the Grunt, "Are you questioning my decision."

The Grunt frantically shook his head, then Archer made Houndoom release him.

"Good, I will be off then, I hear there are some Fossils and Moon stones around here. How about you all get some of those for yourselves or don't, I don't care," Archer said as he started walking.

(Back to Ash)

The group of 4 were running as fast as they could, they didn't know no one was chasing them but they didn't take that chance.

After they reached a different clearing, they stopped to gather themselves.

"What was that? Team Rocket is here, they are the ones behind the Pokemon leaving the mountain." Brock said through heavy breathing.

"It seems so, are they here for the Moon stones?" Seymour responded.

"Probably not the way those grunts talked about the Moon stone they got, they weren't here to get them specifically they came for something else, and it sounds like they got it," Ash answered.

"What are we going to do, we can't leave them here if they continue doing this the Pokemon of the cave may never come back," Yellow asked.

"We can't beat them, we need to find a way to get out of the cave and then contact the League," Brock said.

"Actually, we can't beat him." Ash said referring to Archer, "But you heard him he got what he came for, meaning he is leaving, even if the grunts stay here we can take them down."

He then turned over to Seymour, "All we need to do is get rid of, what did you say industrial-grade Equipment, and since our cover is blown, we have nothing to lose."
