"Professor Mirror has agreed to meet with you"

{About an hour earlier}

Jessie, James, and Meowth arrived at the town after getting their mission in full disguise, they were meant to wait for someone else, and despite their protest that is how they needed to do it.

James sighed as he looked at his watch, "So remind me again why you begged us to come an hour early."

Jessie who had Cubone in her arms turned over and threw her hair back, "Well isn't it obvious I want to get some important shopping done,"

James and Meowth looked at each other, "Again" x2

"But of course, you can't expect a queen such as myself to wear the same thing every day!" Jessie said, holding her nose in the air.

Meowth looked at Jessie, "What's the point all you wear is that uniform," James tried stopping him but it was too late.

Jessie looked down at Meowth with anger in her eyes, then in the next instinct she kicked Meowth across the jaw sending him flying into a tree, "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!"

James worriedly stepped in front of Jessie, "Hey don't bother with him he's just stupid as always, you should go relax I'll teach him a lesson."

Jessie scoffed, "You better, I'm leaving, I'll meet you by the facility." then she stomped off

James gave a sigh of relief that could have ended much worse, Meowth came stumbling back with spirals in his eyes.

"Hey Jimmy, can I get some help here?"

James sighed into his hand and picked up Meowth, "Thanks you da best Jimmy."

"Yeah sure, anyway we have an hour, I wonder if there's anything to do in this town, I never did get that sandwich." James thought as he walked off.

{About 30 minutes later}

Jessie was sitting down on a bench with at least a dozen bags next to her, with more than half filled with clothes.

She may have gone overboard now that she didn't have the guys to carry everything around for her but in her defense…. anyway.

Cubone was eating a little snack as she was also sitting next to Jessie on the bench.

Suddenly the bushes started to shake next to them causing them both to look over to the bush and wadling out was a Lickitung.

Jessie and Cubone looked confused seeing a random Lickitung in the middle of the city but that confusion was immediately destroyed once Lickitung sent its tongue out and grabbed onto Cubone's snack and ate it in one gulp.

It took them a second to process what happened but then Cubone's eyes started tearing up and Jessie furiously pointed at Lickitung, "Hey that's rude haven't you ever learned not to take someone else's food!"

But Lickitung didn't seem to process or care as it turned to Jessie's bags and extended its tongue and brought the dresses into its mouth, only to spit it out when it realized it wasn't food.

"Hey, those were genuine original copies of genuine designer fakes!" Jessie yelled as Lickitung turned around, "I'll show you, Cubone hit it with your bone."

Cubone wiped the tears from her eyes as she angrily looked at Lickitung, then she grabbed her bone and jumped into the sky bone held up high and hit with a [Bone Club] to Lickitung's head.

Lickitung got dazed at the surprise attack but then it looked up at the culprit and immediately turned to Cubone's bone.

Cubone ran back up to slap Lickitung again but Lickitung extended its tongue and grabbed the bone making Cubone immediately stop and try to pull it free.

Then the battle turned into a tug of war for Cubone's bone.

"Hey stop that!" Jessie said as she threw out a Pokeball, "Arbok [Poison Tail]"

As soon as Arbok came out she twisted her body as her tail glowed purple and she gave a slap to Lickitung causing it to let go and go flying back.

"Now you'll pay, Pokeball Go!" Jessie threw out a Pokeball that hit Lickitung and dragged it in, 1 roll, 2 roll, 3 roll, *Ding*

Jessie walked over and picked up the Pokeball, "I'll deal with you later, but for now I need to give my credit card a good workout."

As Jessie walked away Cubone and Arbok looked at each other and shrugged then followed quickly.

{About 20 minutes later}

Jessie, James, and Meowth met up again near the building as they all walked inside, they were still wearing disguises to not look suspicious and walked in, but it seemed like it wasn't necessary since currently there wasn't anyone inside the shop.

But when they went inside they saw the familiar sight of a green-haired boy and a blond girl, obviously Butch and Cassidy.

Cassidy held a smile not recognising them, "Welcome how may I help you!"

Jessie smiled and walked up to the counter as she took off her glasses, "Well well well, so this is where you guys have been, don't tell me you got demoted."

As soon as Jessie showed herself Cassidy's face changed, "Oh it's you guys, what do you want can't you see we're busy."

Jessie scoffed and raised her head up confidently, "Well isn't it obvious, we are here for a super important mission, but unfortunately, we can't tell you anything about it."

"You mean the inspection?" Cassidy said indifferently, causing Jessie to fall over.

Butch waved his hand as he moved a nearby box, "Yeah the boss told us already, but aren't you missing one we were told there would be 3 of you."

Meowth was about to say something but collectively all 4 of them turned to him and said, "You don't count." x4

James turned back and put his arms behind his head, "Anyway we would have been here later but Jessie insisted on-" but he was cut off when Jessie punched him on the side of the head.

"What he means is we want to be early and prepared to prove our worth to the boss," Jessie said as James was rubbing his head.

Cassidy rolled her eyes and pointed at the door, "Whatever, I guess you can go in and check the place out if you want,"

Jessie, James, and Meowth started making their way into the room, but before that, James turned towards the two, "By the way I left a Weepinbell here a while ago can you tell me where he is?"

Butch put down the box and pointed inside the room, "Should be in the Grass section second to the right, all the Pokeballs are next to the cages so find yours and take it."

James nodded and ran in, "Alright thanks Biff,"

"It's Butch!" he yelled back

James followed the directions and found the section he was told about with Jessie and Meowth following behind.

"Sooo where should we start?" Meowth asked.

"You're asking me," Jessie said looking around

"That's strange," James mumbled, getting the attention of the other two.

Jessie crouched down next to him, "What did you find?"

"My Weepinbell isn't here," James said getting a kick to the head from Jessie.

"I thought you had something important to say!" she yelled as James was knocked further in landing near the Victreebels.

When James's vision returned to normal he saw a Victreebel looking back at him excitedly.

James immediately recognized it, "It's you!"

"What are you on about now?" Meowth asked.

"It's my Weepinbell he evolved into a Victreebel!" James said as he started undoing the lock.

Jessie turned to Meowth, "How does that work, don't they need a stone to evolve?" 

Meowth shrugged, "Why are you asking me? I don't evolve with some stone."

James finally unlocked the cage and opened it as he held his arms out for Victreebel, and he did jump forward towards James, but not for his arms, but for his head

Immediately Jessie and Meowth turned back from the sounds of James's muffled screams, so they ran over and grabbed Victreebel from the back and started pulling.

{And that's how we got here}

Ash looked over at Cassidy who was rubbing her temple and turning around, "Well good luck you're going to need it."

Cassidy went back upstairs and Ash sighed as he started looking around trying to avoid prolonged eye contact with the three musketeers.

The facility itself seemed nicer than just a warehouse, probably because they were breeding Pokemon so it had to be at least appealing, the funny thing is Breeding Pokemon without the trainer's knowledge and keeping the Egg technically isn't illegal, just immoral

Anyway, eventually Jessie and Meowth managed to pull the plant off of James with an audible *POP* sending them falling back.

Victreebel immediately got up and started bouncing over to James, James frantically started feeling the sides of the cage looking for the Pokeball that fell off in the scuffle.

As Victreebel jumped again James found the Pokeball and returned Victreebel back into its Ball.

As soon as Victreebel was gone everyone took a sigh of relief, only then did they Realise someone else who was in the room with them, a boy with a scarf and a Meowth.

The room was quiet for a moment when James broke the silence, "Oh ....hey…whatcha doing here?"

Ash looked over and gave an audible sigh, "I guess you are who I'm working with, everyone calls me D., I cover my face for personal reasons, my age and origin are none of your concern, rank Grunt, this is my partner Meowth and I have 3 other Pokemon."

Jessie, James, and Meowth all looked confused for a moment before collectively saying "What?"

Ash rolled his eyes, "Fine all you need to know is I am the one assigned to work with you for this mission, tell me what you know then we can get this over with."

James got up, "Um alright, well we were told we were to check up on the Breeding facilities in secret, we were also meant to look at certain spots to see if they would be ideal to set up new locations or try and buy other shops."

Ash nodded, "Good it seems like we aren't working with anything, let's get started here."

The whole time this was going on and as Ash walked down the halls Meowth stared at the Meowth on Ash's shoulder with hearts in his eyes.

{Near the port city}

After everyone finished Ash let A.J., Samurai, and Jeanette take Abra to Celadon. Samurai also had a question about a certain red bug, so Ash gave him a little hint, as in he told him exactly how to do it.

After Abra eventually came back she took them to the Port town to wait for the ship much to Misty's dismay because she would have rather stayed in a hotel.

After they got there and arranged everything instead of looking for something to do, Ash started to arrange a saddle on Pidgeot and Ivysaur strapped on the top as well.

"So remind me again why you want to go out Flying now?" Misty asked, looking at the big bird.

"Well I want to find something and Ivysaur here is the only one who can help me," Ash said, petting Ivysaur between the flower.

"That doesn't answer the question," Misty said.

Ash gave a smug smile, "Well my answer is because I can, and none of you can stop me,"

Misty rolled her eyes and gave up meanwhile Yellow was taking care of Pikachu, "So how long are you going to be gone."

Ash shrugged, "Depends honestly, if Ivysaur can find it, probably a few hours, if I have to wait until night time then I won't come back till tomorrow. But if you guys want, you can always come with me."

"No way every time you do this there's some random villain of the week that makes you battle and I am still recovering from the last one." Misty roared.

"Well it was worth a try," Ash shrugged, but just then his dex rang again so he pulled it out only to see it was a message from Oak.

He looked at the message and the only thing it said was, [Professor Mirror has agreed to meet with you.]

Ash smiled, "Well looks like I have a change of plans."
