17 Galen's Starter Pokemon!
Galen could only sigh, this Pokemon of all things seemed to have chosen Natalie as its owner. This Pokemon wasn't simple, it didn't simply pick its trainer randomly, they had to have special traits for that.
"This Pokemon has yet to be born, it seems it has chosen you through its special method of communication." Galen turned to Natalie and said with a nod.
"It has chosen me as its owner?" Natalie was surprised.
"I wouldn't say owner, but a partner in better terms. Natalie, come and pick it up and nurture it until it hatches. Trust me, this Pokemon will be worth it when it hatches and evolves in the long run."
Galen wasn't jealous but amazed instead; to be chosen by this Pokemon was a blessing.
"Really?" Natalie turned towards the egg, its color was completely different from any normal egg she had seen.
"Go on, take it. It calls to you." The Pokemon had chosen her, so even if he hatched it, it would still respond to Natalie, only.
The aptitude of this Pokemon was high, being at the (C+) rank. Galen didn't know it, but people would fight to the death to get their hands on this type of aptitude. This was especially because of its species, there would be a blood bath for this Pokemon.
Natalie went to pick the Pokemon egg up and it started to hum and vibrate before stopping. Everyone looked on in amazement, it really was the egg this whole time. Siena and Lars sighed in relief, there was no ghost.
"This egg is white with light blue spots, so what Pokemon could it be?" Aria was curious as to what Pokemon was inside.
"We'll find out when it hatches." Darius wiped his forehead after he found out that it wasn't a ghost.
Galen went over and knelt down to scan the other 2 eggs at point-blank.

"So this group of Machop and Mankey are nothing but thieves, this was the same with that other egg."
Mankey could run via the use of trees in the forest, it wouldn't be hard for a good number of them to snatch and run. Galen had no clue what they were planning to do with these eggs, but it didn't matter; they were theirs now.
"Here, you 2 hold onto these eggs for the time being." Galen handed an egg to Riyuuk and one to Ripley, he gave her the Nidoran and he gave Riyuuk the Mudbray egg.
Galen had long released some equipment for them to use. He placed these down when everyone went to retrieve the rest of the kids. Galen began to call out to the fake Pokemon hiding behind the scenes.
Their beds were placed between rugs, so when they got out of bed; they wouldn't step in the dirt. Everyone was shocked to see their beds appear out of nowhere, but they were overjoyed that they would sleep comfortably.
Galen told them to keep this a secret, but he had already told them that it was a Pokemon he had that could store things in its body.
"Galen, did you catch a ghost type?" Darius' expression was a bit strange. There was no other type that could do something like this.
"Yes." Galen nodded with a straight face.
"..."
"..."
No one had anything to say at that moment, but everyone seemed to be against ghost-type Pokemon here.
"Ghost-type Pokemon are quite fascinating—if I could catch one for myself; that would be amazing." Miras, however, was was a different case and Galen knew this.
Miras liked Bug and Ghost Pokemon, he was also the quiet type who would probably creep many people out if he lived in Galen's previous world.
"Miras, these types of Pokemon are too menacing, you shouldn't get too close to them." Ripley frowned while rubbing the egg in her possession.
"Are they really?" Miras squinted, but if Galen had one, they might not be that bad. He thought.
"They're good if you can control them, it's best to get any Pokemon when they're an egg. However, getting regular ones isn't so bad either, it depends on the individual's character and the way you treat them."
Galen knew that everyone here had a particular dislike for ghost Pokemon and even poison types to some degree. He only explained a few things about ghost types, but he had no idea it would have such an effect.
"I knew it, hehe!" Miras chuckled before laying down in his bed. He was confident and was going to get himself a ghost Pokemon one day.
"Whatever floats your boat and makes you happy, but I still don't like it." Ripley harumphed and covered the egg with her sheets while stroking it.
Galen took out the portable heaters and handed one to everyone. They had some weight and size to them, but they sat them next to their beds before cutting them on.
Siena and Lars fell asleep right away, they dried themselves off from the rain before this. While this was going on, Galen went to a corner and summoned the group of Geodude. Geodude was actually a fairly friendly Pokemon and kept to themselves.
Geodude ate rocks or other precious metal-like materials, but it could also eat berries like any other Pokemon. Galen simply placed the berries in front of them and waited until they caught wind of them.
"Let's check my storage items, at least the few things I've stolen from Norris." Galen took out a chair and sat it against the wall before sitting in it.
"So these are Pokédollars, they're definitely different from my old world's currency in quality." The Pokédollars were colorful like the Canadian dollar and they were made out of some type of sturdy plastic.
The Pokédollars even had faces on them, but these faces weren't that of humans, but pokemon instead! Each bill had its own color, with its own Pokemon's face printed on it—something Galen found amusing.
It was as followed for each banknote.

He had one Hydreigon banknote, while the rest were of every other type of banknote. Galen counted as he found that he had a total of ₱201,100.
"Oh, yeah, this is everything that Norris saved up over the years. I don't know how long, but I estimate, hmm, about 5 years or more." Galen could only laugh coldly when imagining Norris' expression in this aftermath.
"This amount of money should be a lot, I'm not sure." Back in his world, $200,000 was a lot of money, so it should be the same here, right?
"I'll investigate when the time arises, but let's check the other goods." Galen stored the money away before his attention focused on the 5 discs in his Void storage.
The discs all had different colors to them, while 2 of which—were identical in coloration. Galen checked to see if he could identify them.

"All utility moves." Galen was a bit speechless, there wasn't a single attacking move in here. Nonetheless, these moves were all actually really amazing in this type of scenario.
Galen stored these TMs away before checking the 3 stones he acquired.

"There are grades to these stones, what does this suppose to mean?" Galen scratched his head, it seemed the lower grade stone still evolved Pokemon. What did a higher grade stone mean or do so special?
"Yet another thing I need to figure out." Galen proceeded to store these stones away with his money.
Galen immediately turned towards the golden coin in his storage. This coin had Arceus's face on it with the letter C on the back. He looked up and gazed around the room in the distance, Galen could see that everyone was either talking or fast asleep on their beds.
Galen pulled out the coin and turned it around to get a closer look at it. The words written around the edges were 'In Arceus we trust.' with another set of words that said 'Creation Token'
Suddenly, the coin vibrated and flickered with a golden glow. Galen looked up but he found that everyone in the room wasn't moving, it was almost as if they were frozen in time!
With widened eyes, a text appeared in front of him.

Galen's hands and mind shook, this was some type of creation token for a pokemon?
"12?" Galen remembered that he had always heard that voice telling him the number 12. This clearly meant his age, this was when his power completely activated and this coin appeared. There was no doubt that Arceus was giving him this, but why?
Was it because he was someone from another dimension/reality? Galen didn't want to think about it too much, there was no point in thinking about something he couldn't hope to get an answer for. He looked up and could see that he was right—everyone in the cave had frozen in place.
"So it must be under 400 base stats? Hmm, should I choose a starter or something?" Galen thought about Torchic, Bulbasaur, and Mudkip, these were the starters he wanted.
"Or, I could choose a powerful dragon-type starter." Deino, Dratini, Goomy, Gible, Bagon, etc. There were so many good choices to choose from—that he sat there in deep thought for a while.
"Oh, I got it!" Galen was suddenly enlightened.
"I don't need to pick any of these, I'll just find these later if I'm presented a chance to obtain them." Galen decided to not pick any of these Pseudo-Legends or Regional Starters.
"The Pokeball I want is a Dusk ball. As for the Pokemon, I choose the Pokemon...Kubfu!" The token shuddered before letting out a bright golden light that engulf the whole cave room.
Galen was forced to cover his eyes and face because of how bright it was. This lasted for 10 seconds before it started to slowly die down. Afterward, Galen looked around and found that the Arceus Golden Token had disappeared, but his Void storage held a Pokeball that wasn't there before.
"It's the Dusk ball with my Kubfu!" Galen slapped his hands together in joy.
