Continuing walking for few more hours , I see a clearing ahead which I thought will be a nice camping spot.

After setting my camp , I called beldum towards me who was playing with some wild Krabby near the clearing and gave him his food which consists some meats of steel and ground type Pokemons which i have purchased for 100000 pokedollars which will last about 1 week and some berries mix in it. As i have learned from my tutors that beldum likes to eat ground and steel type Pokemons.

John then tooks out his cooking materials from the space bag and started cooking his lunch. while he was busy cooking he didn't notice a certain Pokemon was looking in his direction from near the trees.

After finishing his cooking, John then sets his tables for eating while he was setting his table he noticed a green coloured Pokemon was walking in his direction.

And what appeared in front of him was a bipedal, insectoid Pokémon scyther.

Seeing scyther appearing here , John was a bit confused as their groups were found deep in the forest, And seeing a lone one on the outer reigns of forest is extremely rare.

Scyther then noticed it has attention of both John and beldum, who was eyeing him warily by hovering in front of John.

" scy scy scyther " scyther said while pointing his blades at the food John was going to eat then at beldum and finally at John.

John " you mean to say you want to battle me and if you win you will took these foods as your prize "

" scyther " scyther said while nodding his head

John was really surprised at scyther antics , while he has heard scyther's were really prideful Pokemons he was still taken aback by his actions.

"' Inspect "'

Seeing scyther moves and potential i cleaned my eyes few times to see if i am just seeing things.

After seeing scyther potential John made up his mind to add scyther in his arsenal.

John " sure but if I win you will have to join my team and you won't have to worry about food ever "

After waiting for few sec scyther nodded his head.

I decided to attack first

JOHN " BELDOM USE TACKLE "

Which scyther side stepped and " Wing attacked "

which Beldum took it with almost no injury

Scyther then used " leer " which didn't doesn't have any affect on beldum because of his ability ( clear body - which prevents other Pokémon from lowering its stats)

Scyther then decided to use quick attack which Beldum countered it with Tackle with great speed almost maching scyther. which dazed him a bit with some damage.

JOHN seeing that decided to go for another Tackle which almost knocked out scyther

But scyther quickly stands and before beldum can go for another Tackle , he used X-SCISSOR by crossing his scythes as if they were pair of scissors.

Which greatly hurt beldum and scyther then decided to go for "quick attack and slashed at beldum 3 times which triggered slash attack chance of critical attack by the 3rd slash.

John was really worried about beldum seeing the injuries on beldum , just as he was about to recall beldum in his luxury ball. A blinding white light emerges from beldum which lasted for few seconds and what emerged from the light is

Seeing METANG evolve made me giddy like a child who was surprised by his parents with a gift.

and seeing METANG potential improve , i was not that surprised as beldum already has many shades of red lines in his already deep blue potential. After calming myself down i decided to focus on our current battle.

JOHN " METANG USE CONFUSION " which deals great damage to scyther and confused him ( which has 10 % chance of being activated when using confusion)

JOHN " FINISH IT WITH METAL CLAW "

Which instantly knocked him out , i didn't capture him immediately because I knew scyther is not gonna resist even when he is healed a bit and took out healing potion which is made from Citrus berries and some other healing berries and poured it in his mouth and onto some injuries and gave some leftovers to metang who is almost healed through his evolution.

After attending scyther i took out an empty friend ball and tapped in his forehead which sucked him in and it instantly clicked signifying the successful capture. I also called Metang back in his luxury ball so that he can rest.
