With such a great start to the day i was feeling optimistic about the day ahead, after finishing breakfast and having spent some time around the apartment with my team going over all their gains i recalled them all apart from Gastly who receded into my shadow. Leaving my building i made my way to a nearby phone store and purchased a cheap throw away model, whose number i could give to SHIELD in order for them to contact me.

Entering the phone store, the fluorescent lights buzzed overhead as I scanned the rows of devices on display. I made my way around the store looking for something that met my criteria. Overwhelmed with the number of phones on display i made my way to the counter and to the older gentleman waiting behind it's polished surface.

"Need any help finding the perfect phone?" he asked, his voice warm and inviting.

I nodded, grateful for his assistance. After explaining my need for a basic phone and number which could be given out to specific contacts, he recommended a simple prepaid device that would suit my requirements. I quickly made the purchase, eager to have a direct line of communication with SHIELD for any urgent missions or updates.

As I exited the store with the new phone in hand, I felt a sense of readiness settling over me. The addition of Pidgeotto to our team had bolstered our strength, and I was determined to make the most of our evolving capabilities. With each step forward, my resolve hardened; i would take on today prepared and ready to counter anything that came.

Making my way back to my apartment i ascended to the top floor and my residence and brought out Abra.

"Hey there, any chance you could head out and scan around to see if you can spot and SHIELD agents? when you do can you give them this bit of paper, it has my contact information if they need to get in touch."

"Affirmative, trainer Samuel. I will be but a moment" Watching her disappear from view i headed to the gym to get a quick workout in before the day got too late.

I spent some time focusing on my exercises, the rhythmic movements helping clear my mind and invigorate my body. The familiar burn of exertion spread through my muscles, a comforting reminder of my physical capabilities. After finishing my workout I made my way down the hall and entered the kitchen fixing myself a quick snack. Thinking about it i brought out the rest of my team and served them up some food.

Pidgeotto seemed a bit stand offish and i attributed that to his lower bond level compared to the rest of my mons. I could see some form of appreciation regarding the food and thought that it would just take some more time. Abra appeared before me, holding out a slip of paper with a nod of confirmation. I took it from her, grateful for her assistance in reaching out to SHIELD. Looking down i saw a message scribbled in response, '1900, meet at WH'. Looking at the time i saw that i still had a good 6 to 7 hours before the meetup time at the warehouse.

As I prepared for the upcoming meeting with SHIELD, my mind buzzed with anticipation and a hint of nervous energy. The message containing the location and time of the rendezvous had sparked a sense of urgency within me. I quickly set about making sure my team was ready for any potential challenges we might face.

Pidgeotto, though still distant, showed flashes of potential during our brief training session. It was clear that building a stronger bond with him would be crucial in unlocking his full capabilities. With determination in my heart, I resolved to spend more time bonding with him in the days to come.

After ensuring that my team was well-fed and cared for, I decided to do some last-minute preparations before heading to the warehouse. Checking my supplies and gear, I made sure everything was in order for whatever awaited us at the meeting point.

With a final glance at my team, who were now resting contently after their meal, I made my way out of the apartment and into the bustling city streets. Calling Abra out of her ball i sent a mental nudge to take us to our destination. Seeing the startled look on the various agents faces as i materialised in the warehouse made my day and with a smirk on my face i made my way over to where i could sense Black Widow and Coulson were standing.

"Good evening you lovely people, i hope you're ready to rumble, what's the plan for tonight?" Feeling very chipper and projecting it out in my voice i got a blank look back from both of the spies.

Black Widow regarded me with her usual cool demeanor, while Coulson adjusted his tie with a small smile playing on his lips. The tension in the room was palpable as they exchanged a knowing glance before Black Widow finally spoke.

"Tonight's mission is critical, Red," she began, her voice low and steady. "We have received intel that an underground organization is planning a large-scale operation to accept a shipment of drugs and weaponry at the docks." Pausing for i'm guessing is dramatic effect she continued. "As far as we know this group isn't linked to the one we dismantled last night, however it is one of the larger operations in the area. They have their hands in many different areas like the first."

Feeling my heart beat start to quicken i looked at them both, "if we can start to take out these larger groups, it will also let me start taking apart the smaller ones in my own time without running the risk of the larger ones spreading into the gaps i make."

Coulson nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "Exactly. Our goal tonight is to intercept the shipment and apprehend the key members of this organization. We need to act swiftly and decisively to prevent these illegal goods from hitting the streets and causing further harm."

Black Widow's gaze sharpened as she continued, "We have a team of agents positioned around the docks, ready to move in coordination with us. Your skills and your Pokémon will be invaluable in this operation, Red. We need your ability to strategize and adapt in unpredictable situations."

I felt a surge of determination coursing through me at their words. This was what I had been training for, what I had been preparing my team for. As we discussed the details of the mission, a sense of unity settled over us. We were a team, each member bringing their unique strengths to the table.

With a final briefing and a nod of readiness from each of us, we set out towards the docks under the cover of night.
