83 STOP THIS AT ONCE I COMMAND YOU!

What a miserable day…..dark cloud are gradually forming….. and while this rainstorm is gathering and I'm stuck here on my throne listening to the nobles bitch and moan about their petty squabbles….

The only thing keeping me marginally entertained through these petty politics is the new large "glass" windows that have been installed in the throne room lately, it really brightens the place up…..so much more elegant natural light that really shows just how shabby our old "windows" used to be, practically just a hole in the wall….

A lot of my royal guards complained about the "security risks" of having such a fragile material between the royal family and any potential danger outside….it was quiet an issue for awhile…

But that was randomly solved when father went to the young lord storms manor to pick up "lunch" for the royal family...much to the chagrin of the royal chefs mind you…. And while there he bumped into the young lord Gideon storm and asked his opinion on the matter in passing to which he responded crassly but somehow making a good point…

"Does it matter?….the way I see it is if all that stands between you and what's looking to hurt ya is a flimsy wall or window in a world of super-powered monster animals you're already fucked….so glass or no glass doesn't make any difference"

Which was a rather good point….which seemed to settle the debate, which lead to our newly improved windows being installed rather quickly and I must say I'm quiet taken with the elegance it provided to the throne room….well I suppose I should get back to listening to th-

"I'm telling you we have to do something about this!!! He's merely half commoner trash!!, how dare he bar the way of his betters and deny us our right of entering!!!"

" I completely agree!! Something needs to be done about him and his "bouncers"!!! The questions they ask are downright insulting!! To question a noble is treason!! Treason I say!! You must make an example out of him your majesty!!"

" hear hear!!! the downright inhuman way they treat nobles trying to get on "the list"!!! After my 3rd attempt at getting in I made it to the "cavity search" and arceus above that was the most humiliating thing that's ever happened to me!!….it wasn't even done privately!!, they call it a "private medical room" but it's just a thin sheet hung over a rope next to the line…..it hides nothing!!!…everyone saw what….what those monsters did to me!!!"

" you know what I heard…..when he was recruiting people for those "cavity searches" he only had 1 requirement for recruitment ….to have fingers as big as bananas…"

"Well I heard baron shoney has had 4 cavity searches this week alone….."

" YOU TAKE THAT BACK YOU LYING CUR!!! YOU DARE QUESTION MY INTEGRITY!!?"

Well it's gone from trying to figure out how they were going to "deal" with young lord storm keeping them out of the newly established "noble freezon" to outright questioning each other's sexual preferences in blatant and obvious ways….honestly they just seem like a bunch of children at this point..

At this point I notice the representatives of the aura guardians looking off to the side with small almost smug smiles on their faces….

They showed up today to let me know the possibility of Johto possibly making an assassination attempt on the royal family in the next week or so…. Which that in of itself it quiet suspicious as they liked to have everyone believe that they were "neutral" when it came to kingdoms and politics….but only when it suited them and their agendas

But we increased the royal guard presence by a substantial amount just in case and guards around the city have been put on alert for an unusual activity….

*sigh*

There's a required noble gathering in 2 months in the capital in the form of a party where most noble circles gather to discuss upcoming plans and what not….since young lord storm will be an independent noble, he would have to make an appearance as well so maybe we can find some sort of middle ground then…

Maybe we could ask th-

"What is that!?"

All the nobles turn to look out the new glass windows to a horrifyingly powerful green light.

Suddenly there's a massive green beam being shot straight into the sky from the distance that…..dispersed the oncoming storm…..that looked to be a solar beam….and no king ranked Pokémon could launch a solar beam like that….a champion ranked Pokémon fired that off in the capital…if that wasn't aimed at the sky…..I don't even want to think of what would have happened…

The nobles all start panicking, some cower in fear, some gather around the throne and some just start dashing out of the palace as if to escape alone…

Almost instantly my father appeared at my side with his trusty girafarig ready to teleport at a moments notice…

" that looked like it came from near Gideons place….have the royal guard secure the rest of the family, that solar beam was no joke….so get your infernape ready for action something must be happening over there…."

I just look at my father and nod, the nobles are basically useless at this point….not just in terms of knowing what to do…but in terms of power, none of them have champion ranked Pokémon or if they secretly do I doubt they would want to show their hand in something that doesn't involve them….. so they wouldn't really be able to stand against whatever made that solar beam so I just quickly dismiss them to head back to their manors to organise in case of an attack on the capital…

With authority in my voice I command " take one third of the royal guard and find the rest of my family and take them to the emergency teleportation area and have them evacuated until we have seen this through!, i want every available soldier heading to the source of that solar beam immediately and evacuate the surrounding areas, it's most likely near the noble district so be as amicable as the situation allows but make sure they are evacuated as soon as possible, me and my father will head there and see what's going on personally…..NOW MOVE!!"

With a loud "yes your majesty!!" Everyone takes off in a frenzy to complete their orders while my father and I have girafarig teleport us about 10 minutes walk away from Gideons manor….things seemed to have settle down until….

*KABOOOOM!!*

Suddenly a gigantic stone is launched into the sky through what we can see is Gideons manor…..arceus above that was a powerful attack…..it shredded most of the manor and now…..debris is raining over the noble district as I can see large chunks of what used to be the most beautiful manor in the capital now raining down hell upon the nobles fleeing….thank goodness their Pokémon are protecting them….their properties not so much….

Without much hesitation I call out my oldest and my trusted Pokémon infernape….he was an infernape before I ever met him but we bonded over the years and he became my most trustworthy friend….and even eventually broke through champion rank with all the resources I put into his training…

And father pulled out his most trusted partner….garchomp…..it never liked me but it never tried to harm me in anyway…it just never let me near it, not that I ever wanted to with that typical dragon pride all it ever did was gloat about how powerful it was...but Nows not the time….

"Infernape my friend…..we need to see what's happening in that manor over there….from the looks of it there at-least 1 or 2 champion ranked Pokémon battling in that area….I need you to go over and see what's going on and put a stop to it"

Infernape with his usual seriousness just nods and prepared himself to see what all this is about, my father was talking to his garchomp and as usual it was being difficult….it always listens to father I know he respects father but I wish something could wipe that smug look off his face sometimes…..

"Alright old friend…there seems to be a bit of a scuffle going on over there with some powerful Pokémon…..maybe you might find that challenge you were always looking for….but please just keep destruction to a minimum if you can help it…."

And once again that dragon just oozes smugness as if nothing could ever challenge him…even in this situation the look on his face aggravated me…..

And with nary a second thought garchomp rushes off to the ruins of the once elegant manor with infernape on his heel and.....bursts through the only non damaged part left….I bet he did that on purpose….and infernape backing him up jumps over it and lands out of sight, but we hear him roar not long after….

We would normally get closer but it's best not to be anywhere near a battle between champion ranked Pokémon….the destruction of such a battle could easily be your end if you were too close without another champion Pokémon at your side….

And not even a minute later we see a blurry blueish object launched from the ruins of the manor at incredible speed smashing through multiple damaged noble estates ruining them completely…..and as me and my father turn to see what it was…."it" slowly pulled itself out of a ruined building with a scowl and a rather nasty bruise on its belly with frost forming over it….. that looks rather painful….

Garchomp looked livid….but at the same time a lot less arrogant than usual in his humbled state….but ready to jump back into that fight all the same….and as it was about to let a roar of challenge….from the ruins it was previously ejected came a pink sphere radiating power at near impossible speeds as it landed neatly on the face of garchomp….and before the explosion could catch me and my father In it too girafarig teleported us to a safe distance to avoid that pink ball of death….

*ROAAAAR!!*

That sounded like it hurt….

What is happening…..who would use this much power to attack the sinnoh capital….what is their goal in all of this….we were just lucky at the minimal destruction besides property damage….if anything able to wound garchomp like that wanted to….it could cause a lot more damage….

And again out of the ruins of the young lords manor came two more projectiles at speeds that make it hard to see…. One small and green, ones largish and blue

They both rush toward garchomp and begin to attack…. But before me and my father could respond in anyway we feel a small earthquake, and shortly after we hear a loud voice that you could feel the aura radiating off

"STOP IN THE NAME OF THE KING!!!"

That definitely wasn't one of my men…..none of them can use aura like that….or aura in general really….so I can only assume it's an "aura guardian"…..

But what are they doing here?

And after that me and my father look at each other with a brief moment of confusion which then progresses into anger…..they are using my name for something?….MY NAME!?

But before I could explode in fury from my authority being used by the "neutral" aura guardians without my permission there was another *ROAAAAAR* but this time it came from behind the ruins of the young lords manor….but this one didn't project challenge or even just anger...no…..it was blind fury….

And suddenly more earthquakes coming from where the roar originated that became progressively stronger and the aura laced voice yelled again…

"STOP THIS AT ONCE I COMMAND YOU!!!!STOP...STOP THAT NOW"

It lost its commanding tone quickly and transitioned to fury and then panic….

And with a quick glance to father we were teleported again…..this time we could see what was happening…..I noticed the young Lord storms pokemon, his massive metagross and his….what was it called again….ah yes….Rhyperior….. were hammering down with all their might with speed making it look like they had more limbs than their species possessed , into a shoulder height blue figure which I can only assume is a lucario judging from the presence of the aura guardian

The Rhyperiors fists were on fire and the metagross had his 2 front claws shining with the colour of shiny grey metal…..but as the aura guardians aura laced words of panic and fury demanded they stop…..the 2 Pokémon paid it no mind and the whimpering of the aura Pokémon started to die down as the fists covered in fire and steel were started to be covered in blood….they were not defeating their "opponent" they were going for the kill…

And again before I could even speak my father already took the lead as soon as he half figured out the situation

"Gideon please call off your Pokémon!! Let's just figure out what's going on here!!"

But again without so much as a look his way the Pokémon continued their assault…..but with a quick whistle from Gideon storm the two Pokémon were back at his side in an instant leaving a lucario on deaths door….even if they could save him….looking at him….he would never be the same…

Now I guess time to find out….WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED HERE!!!?
