12 Cheques

After I left the shit show that is the second half of that conversation,i made a quick 3 minute trip to Richards room for a little pit stop and then I made my way out back to a rather large pond jade uses for her Pokémon sometimes to let out my fish out the ball.

As I grab the ball in my pocket and enlarge it, suddenly the fish comes out in a flash of light straight into the pond and he looks straight at me... I'm certain Magikarp don't look this intense….. like he's ready for action.

Gideon " hey buddy let's get some grub in you and talk about the future aye"

to be honest, I don't really know how this free food thing works, so I just think about the best Magikarp food being there and suddenly it starts raining brownish-white pellets into the pond like it's being poured out of a massive bag…

And like a fish possessed he attacks the food with vigor, and it's quite a lot of food too, if it was in a pile it would be around my height but, that doesn't dissuade him as he chows down on it with a glee that I can feel through our connection…

Somehow he managed to eat it all after only a couple minutes, and he kinda just floats there in a daze for a minute, poor bugger probably hasn't eaten in days, so I wait till he comes too and gets his head back in the game, eventually, he does and looks at me with gratitude.

Gideon "alright buddy, so here's my general plan for life, a bit of land by the beach or better yet a cove, you me, and the crew all have our spot, no drama on money due to me being a Noble, maybe a chick or two for me, we are definitely gonna need some goons to run around for us and do the shit we don't wanna do, maybe when you evolve you could have some goons too? Anyways all that and a little weed farm out the back and that's what I want our life to be, watcha think about that big man?"

The big goofball starts splashing around in excitement and in agreement, but honestly, I'm pretty sure he would be happy as long as I'm around from what I'm getting from him... and that's something big in my book….. but before that, we gotta talk about some stuff

Gideon " and for that to come about I'm gonna need to start training you hard, because from this morning till just now My mouth has been writing cheques that my unwilling little booty can't cash…and me just taking a dump in Richards pillow case a minute ago probably won't remedy the situation, I know I know, you're probably thinking 'but why would you do that?' And the answer is I was riding on a winning high with the family talk and it seemed like a good idea at the time, I don't regret it, but it's probably another bill in the mail for you to take care of for me…"

Magikarp looks at me confused

Gideon " well in my unique situation I really should have kept my head down and mouth shut for a few months to get you and hopefully the others up to snuff, but unfortunately my mouth seems to have a mind of its own and I went and picked a fight I'm not ready for, I know it's a dick move but ganna have to up your training to cover those cheques buddy"

I thought Magikarp would at least be annoyed by he looks fucking pumped, ready for war and I'm getting a 'let's fucking gooooo!' Vibe from him, and I couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm from my fuck ups.

Gideon " alright buddy, you stay here for a while, I'll go check on the eggs"

So with that, it took about 10 minutes to walk back to my little shanty shack, and I found the eggs where I left them, behind the big bronze mirror.

As I pull them out the connection grows a little stronger, it's a pretty neat feeling, I just put them on the bed and stare at them, I'm gonna need to be careful and make sure they stay safe and hidden…

As it happens the incubators have a timer on which is convenient, the black egg containing my doggo has a week, and my little cyborg crab has 2 weeks so, not too bad but feels like forever, I've only been here for a day and it feels like a month

As I sit and stare at the eggs I start thinking about tomorrow, with all my super knowledge I can draw up some blueprints for my new pad, I know for a fact that rock and ground types could make me stone pipes due to their earth bending fuckery, which will be cool, have to explain some things to the builders and be on site for most of it but it would be worth it.

Semi-modern living, that's the goal …but no glass is rough…I know I can make some but it will bring a whole lot of bullshit I don't really wanna deal with so, I'll go with wooden shutters for the moment, it's not like I'll stay there forever, but the foreseeable future I will, so it's gotta be shmick

So with plans to….draw plans i duck inside, go up to one of the maids and ask for a " fuck load of paper to draw shit on"

As she takes off in a hurry i duck back to the pond to see magikarp taking a nap so I put him back in his ball, It won't disturb him and head back to my shack and wait for my paper while staring at the eggs.

Gonna meet the builder tomorrow and get shit started while I train the fish…
