Ova 2: That Fearsome Piano: Part 2

"Samurott use aqua jet" Touya said attacking first this time.

"Milotic use ice beam" Cynthia said seriously and reacting quickly.

Samurott covered himself with water and charged quickly towards Milotic, who attacked with ice beam, freezing a part of Samurott's attack and causing him to stop a few meters from her.

"Milotic use attract and then dragon tail" Cynthia said excitedly making Milotic move instantly.

"Samurott use revenge and block it" Touya said reacting instantly.

Milotic looked at Samurott with a flirtatious air and winked at him, causing him to blush and lose concentration for a moment, receiving the attack without being able to protect himself even though Milotic was quite slow due to paralysis.

"Sa Samurott" Samurott said as he got up off the ground in annoyance and said what Touya could interpret as 'I'm going to develop a snake trauma'.

"You see why I said it? Use revenge Samurott" Touya said with a mocking tone making Samurott draw both swords and run towards Milotic.

"Milotic use attract again and then iron tail" said Cynthia amused by the strange battle.

Milotic tried again to captivate Samurott, who did not allow himself to be cajoled this time because well, if they hit you in a relationship, you should leave it, right? I just say.

But seriously, Samurott reached out to Milotic and blocked her attack with a sword and then struck her with his free sword.

"Milotic use ice beam" Cynthia said getting serious again seeing that Milotic was almost useless in close combat due to being paralyzed.

"Samurott use scald" said Touya also taking the fight seriously again.

Milotic fired a thin, rapid beam of ice towards Samurott, which shot boiling water causing the two to cancel each other out and blurring Milotic's vision for a moment.

Samurott appeared behind her and used a slash with both swords, dealing great damage to Milotic.

"Milotic use dragon pulse!" Cynthia said quickly when she saw that Milotic was on the ropes.

Milotic regained clarity and used dragon pulse around her, causing Samurott to have to move away to dodge her attack.

"Use recover Milotic" Cynthia said when noticing that Samurott had moved away from her.

Milotic took a deep breath, concentrated a lot, and healed her injuries almost entirely, although she still seemed to be paralyzed.

Samurott looked pretty tired and the initial hit did more damage than expected, so they were almost in the same condition.

'I doubt that that ability will cure her out of nowhere, she must have lost something in return' Touya thought as he looked at Milotic suspiciously.

Milotic didn't seem much different apart from having some difficulty moving, but she seemed to lose her breath at times as well as having difficulty opening her eyes.

'I got it, is-' Touya thought reaching a revelation but being interrupted by Cynthia.

"Milotic use blizzard again" Cynthia said without letting Touya think much more.

"Samurott use aqua jet and dodge it" Touya said to which Samurott nodded with understanding.

Samurott covered himself with water, but this time dodged to the side to avoid Milotic's blizzard and attack her from the left side.

Cynthia smiled slightly at this and said.

"Milotic use scald" Cynthia said with a confident smile.

"Samurott use revenge" Touya said making Samurott draw both swords to block any attack.

Milotic melted the ice that formed from her blizzard causing a large part of the room to steam up and cover Touya and Samurott's view.

"Use hyper beam!" Cynthia said causing Milotic to sneak up behind Samurott and attack him with hyper beam.

Samurott managed to take cover with one of his swords, but the hyperbeam outstripped him and knocked him out.

"He's really going to develop a snake trauma" Touya said proudly with Samurott but also smiling nervously as he returned him to his pokeball.

At this, Cynthia just smiled innocently as she crossed her arms.

Touya looked for another pokeball in his bag and this time Darmanitan appeared in his Daruma mode making Cynthia get quite upset.

"Milotic use-" Cynthia said quickly being cut off by Touya.

"Darmanitan use psychic" Touya said quickly before Cynthia could finish.

Darmanitan used psychic and attacked Milotic in her mind causing her to fall instantly weakened.

And yes, this is due to the use of recover, which not only expends a considerable amount of stamina but also makes the user quite mentally tired.

"I'm surprised you figured it out so quickly" Cynthia said a bit surprised by Touya's mental speed as she returned Milotic to her pokeball.

"I could say the same about using the blizzard strategy and scald" Touya said returning the argument with an excited smile.

"Touché, Touya" Cynthia said smiling excitedly as well and throwing her next pokeball.

Out of this came a very strange and creepy pokemon, which seemed to be a purple spiral with green spots rolling around it and a face with a sinister smile in the center.

'What weird pokemon Sinnoh has, well, I better not talk' thought Touya having a little chill and then reminding Sigilyph with whom he still has some other nightmare.

And after thinking a bit, the fight started.

"Spiritomb use dark pulse" Cynthia said making said pokemon attack with emotion apparently.

"Darmanitan use light screen and then flare blitz" Touya said responding immediately.

Darmanitan covered himself with a translucent barrier and went into normal mode of him taking Cynthia by surprise and then charging towards Spiritomb through the shadow wave without taking much damage because the barrier and the flare blitz.

Still, it was impressive the ability of special power that Spiritomb had to deal damage even against everything.

Darmanitan approached even faster using hammer arm and arriving in front of Spiritomb in no time.

"Spiritomb use will-O-wisp and then ominous wind" Cynthia said seriously as she noted Darmanitan's closeness and physical strength.

Darmanitan hit Spiritomb's visible 'body' with a fire punch, simply going through it without doing any damage, to which the latter smiled forming purple flames causing Darmanitan to take some damage and move away and then attack him with a strong blast of wind.

This wind was not at all common, it caused great damage in Darmanitan and made him have a shiver and fear because of how horrible said wind felt in his body causing him to deactivate the flare blitz.

Touya felt a bit of said wind and although it did not affect him physically, it did make him shiver, making him think of some way to defeat this strange pokemon.

"Darmanitan use bulldoze" Touya said making Darmanitan come out of his shock and hit the ground hard, generating an earthquake.

"Spiritomb use psychic" Cynthia said seriously causing Spiritomb to move away from the ground and begin to float.

Touya saw something strange that said pokemon could use psychic being a sinister type and he looked at him more carefully noticing a shadow inside him and understanding how to win.

"Darmanitan use hammer arm and reach him" Touya told Darmanitan with emotion making him nod without hesitation.

"Spiritomb uses ominous wind!" Cynthia said causing Spiritomb to fall back to the ground and use said attack again.

"Darmanitan use belly drum and keep going!" Touya said making Darmanitan hit his stomach hard.

The horrendous wind struck Darmanitan again, which felt quite scared, but he was able to continue because the belly drum also caused him to fill with vigor and other feelings that overshadowed him.

"Use fire punch and catch him Darmanitan!" Touya said making Darmanitan understand the situation.

"Spiritomb use dark pulse!" Cynthia said upon noticing Touya's intentions.

Spiritomb stopped using ominous wind and attacked with a dark pulse, dealing considerable damage to Darmanitan but being unable to stop him.

And Darmanitan took a rock that was inside his body and covered it with his hands, causing him to have to enter in it and be knocked out.

"Ugh, I didn't think it would take you that few" Cynthia said a little disappointed at being caught so quickly as she returned Spiritomb to her pokeball.

"That's why the bulldoze was for" Touya said with a victorious and defiant smile making Cynthia get more and more excited about the fight.

Cynthia threw a pokeball and out of it came out a small pokemon with a similar appearance to a blue dog with dark blue hair (Glaceon).

Touya looked at Cynthia and said pokemon with suspicion, noticing that he had a type disadvantage with Darmanitan being ice-type.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm saving the best for the end" Cynthia said with a proud and playful smile.

And after this, they both thought about their next move and the fight started again.

"Darmanitan use flamethrower" Touya said making Darmanitan go into Daruma mode with a bit of difficulty.

"Glaceon use shadow ball and then dig" Cynthia said quickly and coming up with a plan.

Glaceon used shadow ball and blocked Darmanitan's attack and then hid underground using dig and making another hole in the ground.

Touya had more or less an idea of what the plan would be due to having seen it before, making him stay alert just like Darmanitan.

"Go Glaceon! Use the same old plan!" Cynthia said excitedly making Glaceon come off the ground.

"Use flamethrower and then attack behind you!" Touya said making Darmanitan attack the Glaceon that appeared in front of him and then behind him.

And yes, right after attacking 'Glaceon' another appeared behind him getting hit by flamethrower as well.

But what Touya did not expect is that they were both substitutes opening his eyes in shock, so that then the real one appears under Darmanitan.

"Use shadow ball Glaceon!" Cynthia said excitedly seeing that her plan worked.

"Darmanitan use overheat!" Touya said without losing his composure by the surprise.

Glaceon attacked Darmanitan and hit him with a shadow ball, which made one last effort by making a weak wave of fire that still significantly damaged Glaceon and then fell unconscious.

"I didn't think it would be that kind of plan" Touya said still shocked at being taken by surprise as he returned Darmanitan to his pokeball

"Most of the trainers already know it, that's why this one is so effective" Cynthia said with a victorious smile and explanatory tone.

Touya took another of his pokeball and tossed it into the air revealing Krookodile ready for combat and causing Cynthia to raise an eyebrow.

"Don't look at me like that, I'll save the best for the end" Touya said with a challenging and mocking smile receiving the same smile from Cynthia.

"Glaceon use ice beam" Cynthia said attacking first this time.

"Krookodile use dig and dodge it" Touya said causing Krookodile to hide underground quickly.

Krookodile appeared behind Glaceon and was about to slash him until.

"Glaceon use blizzard" Cynthia said reacting quickly and cutting off Krookodile's attack.

Glaceon formed an icy blast very quickly, much faster than Milotic, to which Krookodile had to hide underground again.

Seeing Krookodile's difficulty with the troublesome blizzard, Touya thought of a plan that might work.

"Krookodile use sand tomb" Touya said to Krookodile making a quicksand trapping Glaceon almost instantly, further destroying the ground.

"Glaceon use ice beam and freeze the sand" Cynthia said a little exalted by the speed of said attack.

Glaceon froze what was in sight of said attack, but the quicksand only grew larger and larger to the point where escape was impossible.

"Glaceon use blizzard!" Cynthia said seriously and somewhat surprised.

'Isn't an attack supposedly impossible to be improved from the distance?' Cynthia thought in confusion until she came to a revelation but it was too late.

"Krookodile use stone edge!" Touya said making a large pillar of rock come out from under Glaceon cutting through the ice and sand with ease.

The rock pillar hit Glaceon who was unable to react due to its speed and was knocked out.

And coming out from under the ground, Krookodile had some parts of his body frozen and trembled slightly.

'I see, pretty crazy but very effective' Cynthia thought with an excited smile and returning Glaceon to his pokeball.

"It's been a long time since I had such an exciting and difficult battle! But it's time to end this!" Cynthia said defiantly and taking her last pokeball out.

"Go Garchomp! Let's get the victory!" Cynthia said throwing a pokeball from which came an intimidating pokemon almost 2 meters high.

Said pokemon had an appearance similar to that of an anthropomorphic hammerhead shark, dark blue body, yellow and red color on its stomach and with some thorns on its body, as well as claws instead of hands and finned nails on his forearm like razors.

Seeing him, Krookodile took a serious and careful look, starting the fight.

"Garchomp use aerial ace" Cynthia said attacking quickly.

Garchomp moved at ridiculous speed towards Krookodile, so much so that Touya was unable to react and Krookodile dodged himself with difficulty using dig.

"Garchomp use earthquake!" Cynthia said without pausing on her attack.

"Krookodile use sand tomb!" Touya said reacting instantly this time.

Garchomp lifted his foot and caused a large earthquake that possibly shook the entire area, to which Krookodile hid in the quicksand without receive damage.

Krookodile seemed to have a short time before falling unconscious due to exhaustion and frostbite, so Touya decided to give it his all in the last attack.

"Krookodile use outrage!" Touya said making Krookodile settle down and cover himself with orange flames of fury and then run towards Garchomp at high speed.

"Garchomp use outrage too!" Cynthia said with seriousness and emotion making Garchomp do the same.

Krookodile and Garchomp collided in the center of the room with great force, although it was very easy to see that Krookodile was at a great disadvantage.

"Garchomp use dragon claw and finish him off!" Cynthia said seeing that she had the upper hand.

"Krookodile one last hit, use foul play!" Touya said making Krookodile cover his right fist with dark energy.

Krookodile approached from below using his height as an advantage to dodge and hit Garchomp in the jaw with an uppercut causing some of his scales to break off and dealing great damage.

But this did not stop Garchomp, who recovered instantly and struck Krookodile with dragon claw leaving him completely unconscious.

"Good job Krookodile" Touya said with a satisfied smile as he returned Krookodile to his pokeball.

"Let's go Hydreigon! Show the power of Unova!" Touya said throwing his last pokeball from which Hydreigon came out excited for the fight.

Cynthia and Garchomp felt the pressure Hydreigon exerted, and they both took challenging and serious glances as the last fight began.

"Garchomp use aerial ace" Cynthia said seriously causing Garchomp to move at great speed again.

Unlike a frozen and tired Krookodile, Hydreigon dodged his attack more easily, then grabbed Garchomp with her tail.

"Hydreigon use dragon pulse" Touya said making Hydreigon use her three heads and fire a dragon pulse at point-blank range.

"Garchomp use dig!" Cynthia said reacting quickly.

Even so, Hydreigon managed to hit Garchomp causing great damage, so that he later hid underground.

There were already several holes in the ground, so Hydreigon could not know exactly where he was going to exit.

"Garchomp use dragon claw" Cynthia said making Garchomp appear instantly behind Hydreigon and hit her with his fins.

Hydreigon was unable to defend herself and took great damage from this attack sending her away so that Garchomp would then re-enter to the earth.

"Hydreigon use focus energy and stay alert!" Touya said causing Hydreigon to come out of her confusion from the blow and concentrate to the maximum.

Hydreigon paid attention to her surroundings until Garchomp suddenly appeared underground, only this time Hydreigon was able to see him perfectly and catch his fin with her central head jaw.

"Garchomp free yourself and use dragon tail!" Cynthia said seriously when she saw that Hydreigon was able to react.

"Hydreigon use hyper voice in his ears!" Touya said the instant Hydreigon caught Garchomp.

The other two heads, left and right, roared with great force in Garchomp's ears, stunning him for a moment and then attacking with another dragon pulse at point-blank range.

Garchomp go backwards several meters due to the attack and it could be seen that he was quite injured, but still he did not show any sign of weakness.

Hydreigon had received few blows, but she was also quite injured, and even so she seemed to still be full of energy.

"I guess this is the last round, you have to give it your all, Garchomp!" Cynthia said with anticipation and an excited smile.

"Groarghhhhhhh!!" Garchomp roared with great force, then charged towards Hydreigon.

"Come on Hydreigon! You have to give it your all!" Touya said with an excited and challenging tone.

"Gruarghhhhhhhh!!" Hydreigon roared with great force and fully focused on the fight and then charged towards Garchomp as well.

Both pokemon crashed facing each other in less than a second and...

"Garchomp use outrage! / Hydreigon use outrage!" Touya and Cynthia said at the same time causing both pokemon to be covered with flames of anger.

Garchomp and Hydreigon lost themselves in the heat of combat, exchanging bites, dragon pulses, dragon claws, and whatever attacks could be launched.

"Garchomp use dragon claw!" Cynthia said also completely focused on combat.

"Hydreigon use shadow pulse in conjunction with crunch!" Touya said also excited about the match.

Garchomp slashed with his right fin which was caught by Hydreigon's three heads, stopping the attack and then releasing a dark wave from her body.

Both pokemon slowly lost their strength due to the amount of damage and attacks they received, so only the final blow remained.

"Hydreigon use draco meteor and finish him off!" Touya said with determination causing Hydreigon to be covered in a large and dense dragon aura as his eyes glowed blood-colored.

"Garchomp use outrage as well as dragon claw with everything!" Cynthia said also completely excited and determined with the combat causing Garchomp to cover himself with a dense aura as well and his eyes to shine the color of the sun.

Hydreigon focused her aura on her and formed a large meteor, then launched it towards Garchomp at high speed.

Garchomp took power and launched himself against it at high speed with its x-shaped claws and forming a large amount of dust in addition to a large earthquake.

Dust covered Touya and Cynthia's view and nothing could be heard or seen for a moment.

And when everything cleared up, Garchomp was totally weakened and Hydreigon fell to the ground and after a few seconds was also weakened by fatigue.

"Don't worry Hydreigon, we won!!" Touya said returning Hydreigon to her pokeball with great pride for his pokemon.

"It's been so long since I had this emotion! My blood is still boiling!" Cynthia said as she rejoiced even at having lost.

"You beat me Touya, you should be happy that I'm not the one from a few years ago, because I'd probably be throwing a tantrum" Cynthia said remembering her past attitude with a nervous smile.

Cynthia returned Garchomp to his pokeball and walked next to Touya to continue talking.

"Tell me Touya, how do you train your pokemon?" Cynthia asked quite curious about the matter.

"Well, in this region the virtues of the trainers are used" Touya said with a thoughtful tone.

"Virtues of the trainers?" Cynthia asked not knowing about it and being even more curious.

"Yes, types advantage, strength in your orders, the art of pokemon, their qualities, understand what they can do and what not, give them freedom in battle, cold and calculating thinking and will" said Touya enumerating with his fingers as he recalled each gym leader one by one.

Cynthia for her part looked very excited as she jotted everything down in a notebook that she pulled out of her trench coat and stuck her tongue out to focus.

"Got it! This is exactly the way I want to train to connect with my pokemon! Wonderful!" Cynthia said which she seemed very happy to know about this method.

"Touya! What about the mythology of this region!" Cynthia asked who seemed very curious and passionate about mythology as she got too close to Touya causing him to turn red again.

"E-eh, well, in Unova the main legend is about the original dragon and the truth and ideals" Touya said keeping his calm somehow.

"Huhuhuhu, there is so much to learn and I have to teach you, signing papers is only the beginning, plus you will need it before the Meeting of Champions" said Cynthia who seemed captivated and excited by all the information like a little girl.

"Wait, what?" Touya asked not understanding what Cynthia was referring to.
