Chargestone Cave

"Hello broccoli!, how are you?" Touya said greeting N with a small smile.

"Hmm? Why are you treating me like that? I thought we were rivals and enemies" N said confused.

"I already said it before, you are not a bad person, therefore you aren't my enemy, it is the people behind you who cause problems" Touya said calmly.

"I see" N said with understanding.

"After our previous meeting, I spoke with Ghechis about our talk and he was also interested in you, so he took matters into his own hands" N said in a calm and slow tone.

"Those people you saw earlier are the shady trio, they are special informants from Ghechis and they have taken it upon themselves to obtain information about you and your friends" N said in an explanatory tone.

At that, Touya took a serious look, leaving behind any kind of kindness.

"They discovered things like your way of thinking, like Cheren who is only governed by strength or Bel, who understands that not everyone can be strong, or at least that was until you talked to her" N said calmly.

"But you, they can't understand you, you are unpredictable, strange, and too neutral" N said with a bit of shock.

"So when you go through this cave you will have different tests, so Ghechis can know exactly what kind of trainer you are" N said looking at the big electric rock next to him.

"I love this place, it is quiet and has a mathematical beauty, if there were no people I would stay here" N said calmly.

"Even though you want to fulfill your ideal and help Ghechis you still tell me everything he plans, if you weren't such an empty head we would be good friends" Touya said crossing his arms a little disappointed.

"Friends huh? Maybe you're right" N said thoughtfully and then walked away.

Touya just thought for a moment as he looked around him.

'Ghechis has me at his mercy in this cave, but there is no other way to continue advancing, I guess I have no choice' Touya thought after pondering his situation for a few minutes.

Touya walked around the cave a bit coming across several different pokemon, like adorable yellow spiders (Joltik) or what appeared to be a tactical metal egg (Ferroseed).

After walking a bit he was able to come across an impressive scene of a floating blue crystal.

Touya slowly approached his hand closer to it and...

"Touyaaaaa!" Bel said out of nowhere.

Touya jumped back in fear and then looked in Bel's direction.

"What's wrong, did I scare you?" Bel asked mockingly.

"O-of course not, I'm not afraid of anything" Touya said puffing out his chest with pride.

Bel just looked at him without believing him and said...

"Look at a harem protagonist!" Bel said pointing somewhere.

"Huaaaa!,where?!" Touya said hiding behind Bel.

"*Pfffff* Hahahahahaha, you must have seen your face" Bel said as she held her stomach.

"H-hey, don't laugh, those guys are dangerous, they ruin families and if you're a man you end up stupid and dying near them" Touya said trying to justify himself and making Bel laugh louder.

"Wow, you guys are really good friends" said Professor Encina, appearing suddenly.

"What is Professor Encina doing here?" Touya asked curiously.

"My father sent me to investigate a very peculiar pokemon called Klink so here I am, ready for the investigation!" Professor Encina said excitedly.

"By the way, if you touch that crystal it will move towards the nearest magnetic field, be careful not to get crushed by it" said Professor Encina with a warning tone.

Touya pushed the crystal a bit and it moved quickly, colliding with the large electric rock behind it.

Touya continued walking along with Bel and Professor Encina, who collected data of some pokemon shaped like nuts and bolts.

After a few minutes of research, Professor Encina said.

"I'm done! Apparently these pokemon did not exist more than 100 years ago as was believed, which means that they appeared only a century ago" said Professor Encina with emotion.

"Where do pokemon come from and where do they go, I am convinced that if we can find out, we can better understand pokemon and strengthen our ties!" Professor Encina said with great confidence.

"Wooow, the world of pokemon research is great" Bel said with stars in her eyes.

'Where do they come from and where do they go huh?' Touya thought with interest.

"Well, I finished what I had to do here, see you Touya" said Professor Encina and then left.

"Don't worry Touya, I'll take care of Professor Encina" Bel said confidently following her.

"Take care Bel" Touya said calmly and then continued on his way through the cave.

Touya came across a large ravine next to an unreliable wooden bridge.

"Sure the death rate of the trainers is not pretty" Touya said with a worried tone.

Right at that moment, three people appeared out of nowhere in front of Touya, which were the shady trio.

Touya was about to hit the one in front of him again, but he walked away a little scared and said.

"After passing this bridge, there is a staircase, that's where you will have your test" said one of the ninjas and then disappear along with the others.

Touya pulled Sawk out and walked alongside him until he reached some stairs that led deep into the mine.

"Ready friend?" Touya asked Sawk.

"Sawk!" Sawk said confidently.

"Welp, we will have to make this ridiculous" Touya said with a tired and slightly annoyed tone.

And so began Touya's test, on what kind of trainer is he.
