1 Chapter 1: A New Beginning

One Day in the Hammerton region, there was a 16-year-old boy named Mike. He was excited about his first-ever Pokemon journey. He went downstairs to eat his breakfast of Waffles and Fruit, until his mother, Sophie called him to come to watch something important on the TV. Sophie showed her son a video of a man getting arrested. Mike didn't understand what was going on. She explained that the man was the leader of Team Boom, a notorious gang that cause havoc around Hammerton. She explained that he was his father's partner-in-crime. Mike had never seen his father before. His father died when Team Boom was performing a riot 16 years ago.

He was in shock but figured out that wasn't going to stop him from being the best Pokemon master. Mike went up to his room, got his bag and hat, and stepped outside to walk to Professor Pines' office. He entered the office to be greeted by the professor's secretary, Willow.

Willow said that Professor Pine went out the Amon Forest to do some research. Mike decided to find him in the forest and ask for his Pokemon. Not too deep in the forest, Mike found Professor Pine held at gunpoint by a Team Boom Grunt. the Team Boom grunt didn't know Mike was there, Professor Pine was lip-reading to go grab a pokemon and stop the Grunt. Mike ran to the professor's office as fast as he could and grabbed a Pokeball.
