Crystal Clear Waters

Training Deino was an easier task than expected as the little guy could literally be described as a sponge in the matter of learning new moves. It's been six months since we welcomed Deino Into our team and in that time he was able to successfully learn several attacks and in the limelight, Draco meteor!

It was an amazing feat according to my mother as even her Pokémon was only able to learn the move after evolving once or twice especially as the energy needed to be gathered to fire such an attack is tremendous and Deino was able to do it albeit in his own tone down version.

The only reason I can come up with to explain how Deino was able to do it was that Deino is just a beast of a Dragon-type that just came in a small package. Even though Deino was successful in learning the move we still have a long way until mastering it as he can only create four meteors which my mother said was already an amazing start considering Deino is still in his base form and that number will only rise as Deino evolves as the energy he is able to gather increases. The moment that Deino masters it is the day he will make his opponents run for the hills as Draco meteor is an attack of great proportions as it's literally a rain of meteors. Seeing the small prodigy my mother also tried teaching Deino Dragon dance, sadly there was no progress whatsoever as Deino was not able to control the movement of Dragon-type energy inside his body however he somehow learned another move called Work up which boosted his Special attack and attack. This was an amazing utility move for Deino because he is more of a mixed attacker anyways as his stronger moves are all range.

Deino was also successful in learning Dragon Pulse after being tutored by Milotic in the move which was quickly followed by Dark pulse. I thought that the Pulse attacks may be a distant thing however it seems that Milotic was a good teacher, I still don't understand how Milotic even did the tutoring as Deino is blind so there is no visual reference.

It took Deino one week to learn Crunch and only another four months for Dark pulse and Dragon Pulse was learned a month earlier. When the process of teaching Deino Dragon pulse with the help of Milotic was going smoother than expected I decided that it might be okay to switch it up by using Dark-type energy which surprisingly yielded good results in its own strange way. The first attempt on Dark Pulse still failed though as he was unable to release the energy and just built it up in his mouth which slowly dissipates however Deino was able to make a cool scene where the dissipating embers of excess Dark-type energy were constantly escaping his mouth like that of a toned-down version of Mega Charizard X which I thought can be used as a good Intimidation tool or a way to add to his coolness factor in the future.

Like Milotic, Deino has also started battling trainers staying in the penthouse but I made sure that he only faces beginner level to Ace level Pokémon's as even ace and elite trainers will sometimes have weaker level Pokémon due to it being newly caught or is given. Deino was able to win most of his battles against beginner-level Pokémon's however still has yet to land a victory against Pokémon that is at the ace level. Strategy for Deino was a hard concept to understand as from what I understand from his point of view is 'Why not just blast them?' which I just explained that Strategy is blasting the enemy but with style.

Deino was also able to learn Incinerate that somehow came about when we were experimenting with Dragon rage. We tried swapping the Dragon-type energy with Fire-type energy which resulted in a literal flaming red fireball and it seems that, unlike Dragon, rage Deino can Spam it as Fire-type energy does not require that much to gather and concentrate which my mother further pointed out that it's not as volatile as Dragon-type energy that needs high concentration to perform. Learning Incinerate is a great help against ice types in addition to Fire fang because as I noticed in some of Deino's battles he seems to have a problem in getting closer to his opponent and in one battle against a Cryogonal who just blasted Deino with Ice beam at a distance which Deino was able to counter with Dark pulse however the battle was still lost.

After my mother noticed Deino's very fast progress she immediately advised me on equipping Deino with an Everstone to avoid the possibility of a premature evolution. Pokémon, especially the Long-lived ones such as Dragon-types that evolved earlier than intended or are forced to evolve early does not only waste the potential they have in their base forms it also causes the increase in overall stats they get to be lower than normal and it sometimes account for several evolved Pokémon to be noticeably smaller than the average size of their species. Deino was already smaller than usual and a premature evolution is the last thing we want to happen as even the growth-promoting high-quality food doesn't seem to be helping as much in increasing Deino's size as when Milotic was still a Feebas just two months of eating such food accounted for about 20-30% increase in her total size however Deino did not even grow an inch as far as I can tell.

(If I remember correctly even though Ash's Charizard was strong it was very small compared to the other Charizard of Charicific valley and was not even able to defeat some of the place's inhabitants)

I immediately requested a collar socketed with an Everstone to be made for Deino, however once received it took quite some time to persuade Deino to wear it and not consume the accessory. Even though Deino was able to get better at navigating his surroundings to the point of avoiding obstacles in our daily rounds around the lake, we still yet to fix his biting habits which I already accepted is part of his nature as it is what his species are known for however I did try to convince him in the part that If it does not smell good don't eat it.

Milotic also had her own improvement as although her overall growth slowed after reaching the elite level she was still able to master her moves and even learn the move Hydro Pump. In one of our battles, Milotic was forced to increase the power of her scald to breakdown the rock wall that her opponent Gigalith created to act as a defensive barrier and by giving up on the process of heating the water in order to focus on increasing the power output of the attack Milotic was able to perform the move Hydro Pump.

Milotic training with her Counter shield and Dragon dance combo had a breakthrough as now Milotic is able to boost her speed and it seems like it's only a matter of time before she will be able to do an attack and speed boost while being protected by a counter shield. After one of our battles, Milotic came to me and ask if she can have a battle with Cofo but sadly Joseph informed me that Cofo is doing some special training and doesn't want to fight Milotic yet as it is clear Milotic has surpassed him and he isn't ready yet to take the full force of the vengeful serpent. Well, I can't really blame Milotic because she got treated like a rag doll as a Feebas when battling Cofo as not even a slight mercy was shown and now she wants to return the favor.

In the past months, Milotic continued to grow in size with the help of the high-class Pokémon food and now is at a great length of more than seven meters and it seems she still has room to grow. I did some research with the help of Joseph to find out the length of other Milotic that are owned by other trainers and it seems they are all just a little bit above six meters and now if I meet those trainers I can confidently say 'Mines longer than yours'.

It was months of training and getting close to our new friend. While preparing to get breakfast as we had just finished our mourning lap my father approached me and said to follow him to his office with my mother for a family meeting. Family meetings are not really a rare thing for us as we even had a meeting before my last birthday to decide to let the guest from the penthouse join us which is something that I thought was a given but my parents seem to think that it's something we needed to discuss though.

"Albe ... I mean Al we decided that we will have our family vacation to the place that you keep on suggesting"

"Well dear it seems that Alb ... Al is interested in the Orange Archipelago maybe he wants to see the native Pokémon of the area"

(My parents are really trying to stick with my new nickname huh)

In the past month, the trainers staying in the penthouse started calling me with a shorter name Al as they thought that Albert was a mouthful which I had to disagree on every bit of my new being as it literally just two syllables however a lot of people seemed to like it and even my parents got into it too which I am stuck with now.

"..... Wait! we're really going?"

"Yes, as we have all been working hard, I thought that going to another region for our vacation this time may be a good way to get away from it all and rest"

(Somethings off, In the past, we also had family vacations for the excuse of escape which I always try to put my suggestion of the Orange Islands as a place we should go to however my father always say that it will take too much time which led to our family vacations always being within the Region, and its either staying at a fancy hotel or resort. Makes me curious on what is the reason for my father's sudden change of heart, is it because of his strained hip that has been plaguing him for months now?)

"Just to be sure, we're really going to the Orange Islands?"

"I still don't understand what's up with your obsession with that place but yes were going to the Orange Islands"

(It's finally happening! I've already looked into the island that had the Crystal Onix, It was an easy find with the help of the 'Human Siri' Joseph as when he looked into the island that has a rich history in glassmaking in the Orange Islands only one place came up, Sunburst Island! I can finally have a chance to know if I'm in the world based on the game or anime.)

"We're leaving in a week from now so better start preparing. Also, inform those staying at the Penthouse that they can only stay for a few more days and make sure to stop accepting applicants starting today."

"Will do, but there's one Island I would like us to visit if that's okay"

"Ohh, what island is it?"

"Sunburst Island! I looked into it and found that we could get amazing glass souvenirs from the place that is made from large melted crystals."

"No problem, we can visit it while island hopping because I think I've seen it in one of the stops listed on the pamphlet of the cruise that I booked us on."

"Thank you, Dad! and by the way, am I allowed to bring my team?"

"Of course even your mom will bring her whole team with her as it's as much a well deserve break for her Pokémon as it is to us. It's even a paid leave as she used her saved-up vacation.

"Then am I allowed to catch a Pokémon?"

"Catching a Pokémon? You have yet to start your own journey however your already building a team. Hmm, you know what sure as it will be registered as mine like your other Pokémon as you still don't have a trainer Identification card"

I already know about the Trainer card that was administered in Regions under the league four years ago that requires all trainers to be registered in the league's database. The requirement for a Trainer card is not really stern as an individual would just need to have a Pokémon and be at the age of ten or above to be allowed to receive one. Even though it is allowed to give anyone from the age of ten below a Pokémon, It would still be required to be registered as the guardian's Pokémon until the individual reaches the age of ten and procures a Trainer card.

"Really! thank you, Mom!"

"Are you gonna use one of the Pokeballs from Kurt?"

"Of course! As I'm sure that my new Pokémon will be special so it would need a special Pokeball"

"What kind of Pokémon are you planning to catch anyway, are you sure you will get to encounter it?"

"I don't really have a specific Pokémon that I want to catch but I'm certain I will know it's my new team member once I see it"

"I doubt you will get to see rare Pokémon such as a Dratini though, even if it one of the natives of the Orange Archipelago"

"I'm not really betting my luck on seeing a Dratini Mom, there's a higher chance of me finding a Dragonite than a Dratini if I took your stories into account"

"Well you will never know, you might get lucky"

"Albe ... Al also tell your Pokémon about the trip as they may get surprised by the sudden change of scenery and people, especially that Deino of yours. Even though I know you have gotten close to it, it's not the same with other people as you can remember it tried to bite Jess earlier this week"

I feel bad about Jess as it can be considered as my fault as I told Deino that if you're not in a battle and it does not smell good don't take a chomp off it and after the incident, Deino explained to me that Jess smelled nice so he tried to take a bite to see if its food.

"I'll get to it immediately, dad"

"Good"

.... More than One Week Later ....

The journey going to Orange Island was a long one as just the plane ride took ten hours straight and that was on a private plane. Joseph and Jess were also invited on our family vacation but my father still made sure to hire some people to guard the house while we were gone. We first landed in the Vermilion airport that was situated a couple of miles away from Vermilion city of the Kanto region as that is where the Cruise is scheduled to start its voyage to the Orange Islands and then we stayed in a fancy hotel for a day waiting for the scheduled boarding. When the time came, I was faced with a majestic ship that's big enough to have pools specified for humans and Pokémon as well as several arenas for Pokémon battles.

The boarding process took no time at all as even though the Pokémon food we brought was staggering it was already stored in specialized bags that can hold half a ton each and we had five of those bags with us. I'm still confused about this world's technological level as on one side it already has storage systems with the capability of folding space into itself but on the other hand, they only had box Tv until a year ago when my father finally introduced the flat-screen ones in the market which was very well received. Even though such bags exist it costs quite the sum to buy one as just my backpack alone costs about five hundred thousand Pokedollar and it can only store about three hundred kilograms worth of materials but it's worth it as it carries my stuff without causing me to bear the weight.

It took two days out on the sea before finally reaching the Orange Islands and the first stop on the cruise was the Kumquat Island where we took our time relaxing by the sea while I made sure to put on some lotion and rubbing it on my body as I'm not planning on getting a sunburn. We took our time relaxing and even had some battles with other guests on the cruise, a lot of people were awe-struck when first seeing Milotic which I was already used to as it's a daily occurrence in the penthouse. One arrogant rich fellow even offered two million Pokedollar which I just denied and said 'If you doubled your offer you just may afford a few jars of her food' which is not really a lie. The encounter just ended with a Pokémon battle which he quickly lost, he tried to argue however when he discovered that my mom was an Elite four of another region he quickly backed away even leaving the cruise and boarding another ship. His actions were understandable as every member of the Elite four is considered as walking nukes that can destroy cities in a single day as they are the people that maintain peace and it is said that their presence alone deters potential regional conflicts from escalating into full-blown wars.

After the little skirmish, we continued on our island-hopping cruise. On the morning of the fifth day of our vacation, we finally disembarked on Sunburst Island. The island was bustling with business as tourists from all over are looking to purchase some of the local glassware's however I have a different goal in coming here.

"Mom, Dad can I look around the Island to look for the native Pokémon of the place?"

"Sure Al, but make sure to come back before dinner as we are scheduled to leave early tomorrow and we don't want it to end up with us searching for you just before the time of departure"

"No worry, I'll be back before you know it!"

"Careful on your way Al'

"Yes, Mom"

I traveled on foot along the coast as I remember that the Crystal Onix is located in a cave situated on an island that is connected to Sunburst Island by a land bridge that will show up according to the tide. During my walk, I was able to see distant islands however I deemed them too small compared to the one in my memory but after an hour I was finally able to find an Island that is potentially the one I was looking for. There was no land bridge insight which I account must be due to the tides not yet receding.

(Well I'm not gonna wait for the water level to drop as who knows when it will happen and besides I already have a ride)

"Surf's up, Milotic!"

'Milotic'

"Care to give me a ride to that island"

'Milotic mi'

"We may find something cool in the area, that's why"

'Milotic!'

"Excited huh, Then let's go"

Upon arriving on the island I immediately began my search for any potential cave that may exist in the area. I was able to find a cave near the center of the island after a few minutes of searching and upon entering and walking through a short tunnel I was able to enter a large expanse containing multiple large shimmering crystals and a large clear pool of water covering half of the area which was illuminated by the sunlight that goes through a large round opening in the middle of the ceiling of the cave.

(This must be the place, but where is the Onix?)

"Milotic, search the water and try to find if any Pokémon is hiding around somewhere"

'Milotic!'

I asked milotic to scout the water for the Crystal Onix as even though I found a location similar to that of the anime, only after seeing the Crystal Onix will make it clear if I'm really in that world which will greatly help me plan for the future.

'Whosssssh!' 'water surface breaking'

After just a minute of searching Milotic suddenly burst out of the water and made a loud cry towards the water and after looking around the area Milotic was focused on I was able to make out a pair of eyes staring at us from the depts.

''Whosssssh' 'water surface breaking'

'ROOoooOoooooooo!'

Once the owner of the eyes noticed us staring at it, it immediately rose up from the water showing its self and releasing a loud roar rivaling that of Milotic's.

(The Crystal Onix! .... no wait, I'm in a world based on the anime, or heck I might be in the anime! well most likely. Now it's time to catch another member of my team as it's a stupid idea not to catch such special Pokémon and if in the games the champion Iris and Lance can have three non-dragons in their team and still be called a Dragon master then so can I!)

"Milotic get ready for battle!"

'Milotic!'

'Roooooooo!'

(It must have heard our challenge huh, well I too will be annoyed if someone barged into my home and yelled out 'get ready for battle' right to my face)

"Milotic start us off with Ice Beam!"

"Milotiiiiiiic!'

'ROOoooo!'

Milotic ice beam landed perfectly encasing the upper part of Onix's body in ice.

(Nice now only need to do damage it ..... wait what the)

'Crack'

'Pak .... boom!' 'Shatter'

'ROOoooooooo!'

As I was about command an attack the Ice covering Onix suddenly cracked and shattered freeing Onix from the Ice and showing little to no damage from the attack.

(What? I know it's resistant to water but Ice too, then it must not be Ground-type or has an ability I'm unaware of or worst both!)

'Rooooooooo!'

As I was contemplating the situation Onix started generating crystals in the air and proceeded to launch them towards Milotic.

(That's Rock Throw!)

The Dragon dance and Counter shield combo really show good results as Milotic was not only able to deflect all of Onix's Rock Throw but even boost her speed at the same time.

"Good now don't let up get close and full force Iron tail!"

Milotic landed a hard hit on Onix's head causing it to fall into the water. All the training Milotic has done really showed some results as to bring down a physically defensive Pokémon like an Onix.

"Good, it did some damage. Milotic finish this with a Barrage of Dragon Pulse!"

'Milotiiiiiiiiiic!'

'psssssssh' 'Blast of energy'

'Boom!'

Milotic fired a continuous blast of Dragon pulse towards Onix and creating a slight mist on the area making it hard to view the Onix after the barrage of attacks.

"It still can go? Wait the Dragon Pulse only did so little damage! It's resistant to Dragon-types, then what type is it?!"

'ROOooOoo!'

After finding its bearings Onix went on land and started charging toward Milotic and generated multiple Crystals of varying sizes which it dropped towards Milotic.

"Its Rock slide! Milotic evade"

'Milootic!'

'Boom!'

"Nice dodge Milotic but I think we need to bring out the heat to win this so return"

(It was a close call as getting hit by that much debris would do quite the damage but it seems we really need to use a Fire-type attack to end this.)

"Come out Deino!"

"Deino fire a barrage of Incinerate on the Onix!"

'Deino?'

"On the thing that roared just now"

After taking three blasts of Incinerate, Onix glowed slightly red noticeably taking considerable damage and was only enduring to avoid falling over but it's clear that it's unable to battle anymore.

(Now that's really effective, better now than never)

I took out the Heavy ball that I got from my birthday after which took one last look toward the Onix and with that I was sure it would be a great addition to my team.

"GO!",

The ball hit Onix and was absorbed inside and with that my expectations rose rapidly. The ball started wiggling, Once, twice, three times, and stopped thus the Crystal Onix is mine.

I'm quite amazed by Onix's performance during the battle as he was able to face Milotic on even grounds and that's saying a lot considering my Mother told me that Milotic was already an Elite level Pokémon which means that Onix is already either an Ace or Elite level Pokémon.

I wonder though if this Onix will evolve into a regular Steelix as its already so strong that there is no point in holding back its evolution but Its better not think about it now because Metal coat may be somewhat rare it is still easily bought from the market as it's something that some steel types normally shed once in a while like Feebas' Prism scale.

"Nice work Deino"

"Get ready as we're gonna greet our new teammate, Come out Onix!"

After Releasing Onix it looked at us and started assessing the situation still confused about what just happened. As it's still heavily damaged from the battle it didn't have a choice but to keep on staring.

'ROoOoo'

"We defeated and caught you Onix so now we would like to welcome you to our team"

'Deino!'

'Milotic!'

"So what do you say?"

'RooOo?'

'Milotic mi milotic'

.... A few minutes later ....

As Onix was still confused, Milotic started explaining the situation along with our goals. At first, Onix showed some displease about getting caught but after hearing about the concept of getting stronger and the potential high-class free food he would get on a daily basis Onix quickly agreed in joining us.

(From their conversation alone I could already get important information such as Onix seems to be male and I know Milotic said things about good food and stuff but now that I think of it what does a Crystal Onix even eat? I studied the diet of ordinary rock types before but I'm not sure if it's applicable with my new Onix. I may need to consult my parents about it later maybe they know someone who can help.)

"Let me heal your injuries first"

'ROoOoo'

"Don't worry it's just a Full Restore, it may sting a bit but it will help you heal"

'Milotic'

'Roo'

"Thanks, Milotic. Stay still Onix this won't take long"

'ROooo'

.... A few minutes later ....

"Sorry Onix I forgot how big you are, I really need to check every nook and cranny to make sure I did not miss a damaged area."

'ROoOo'

"No problem big guy. Okay next up Milotic and Deino, we can't be the best without knowing how to spam Full Restore after all."

'Milotic'

After healing the team we took our time exploring the cave, like normal tourists as we are on vacation after all and we still have a few hours before needing to return. The cave was a beautiful place but it does make me wonder how such a large round hole exists in the ceiling as if something fell from the sky.

(Is it a meteorite? It would make sense as to why there would be a large pool inside this cave as if it's a large crater that was filled with water over time. Just to make sure .... yup it's freshwater so it must be rainwater and why did I just drink Onix water it's like drinking water from a fishbowl ... gross)

"If it's a crash site then there must be something in the midd ... found it. Onix can you bring that large rock in the middle of the pool here."

'ROoOoo'

Onix dove down and wrapped the meteorite with its tail, after which Onix pulled it up to the surface and presented it to everyone.

"Thank you Onix, Now what do we have here."

The meteorite was spherical about one and a half meters in diameter but aside from the rock that mostly made up the meteorite, there was a small part of it that contains an orange crystal-like mineral with something else in the middle. The crystal was different from the crystal abundant in the cave so it must not have developed in the area therefore, it must have come with the meteorite.

"Onix do you know what this is"

'ROoOoo'

"Your family's treasure? You have relatives here!"

'ROOoo'

"You're the last one standing huh, sorry to hear that. Well, we cant take the whole thing with us so are you okay if we took the Orange crystal on it with us instead?"

'ROooOo'

"Okay then, Milotic use Iron tail to cut off the Orange part"

'Miloootic!'

'Boom!'

After using Iron tail the meteorite was cut in two releasing the orange crystal which was about six inches in diameter and twelve-inch long however after the orange crystal was separated the whole meteorite broke down and shattered as if losing the thing that's holding it together.

"Umm sorry Onix but your families rock multiplied more than we wanted it to"

'ROooo'

"It's still the same for you? well it is still the same meteorite it's just that their more of it now ..... wait what are you"

As I was taking my time understanding Onix's view on the matter, Onix suddenly ate up all the meteorite fragments and just left the Orange crystal behind.

"That's one way to take it with you but why left this thing out. Hmm, wait a minute is that a helix spiral inside of this thing? Where have I seen that .... It's a Mega stone!"

After realizing what's inside the crystal, I started putting things together in my mind about the situation concerning this island, Onix, and the Mega stone.

(It now makes sense, Why would an Onix be on this Island when Onix and Steelix are not even found on Sunburst island? The answer is simple it's not the Onix that came here it's the Steelix as they are known to burrow towards the earth's core way deeper than any Onix could and some of them must have felt the Mega stone and rose up towards here as I remember in the anime that Pokémon are drawn toward their Mega stone, like those in Mega Island. The Steelix that arrived must have felt the Mega stone but had no way to acquire it due to the water in the pool and just left. High likely that some of the Steelix that met up did the deed and laid some eggs here resulting in an Isolated place of a few Onix that developed into a variant. Well, that's just a theory a ..... never mind.)

I now have a mega stone that's most likely be for a Steelix and I have just caught an Onix, Why does everything align so much? Am I being blessed by Arceus? if so then.

(Ohh great golden horse stuck on the universe fence, Bless all my Pokémon with Mega evolutions!)

Now that I put that out there, I can only hope for the best in the future besides I'm not even sure if this mega stone would even work after my Onix evolve as I'm sure Onix can be considered as a variant that most likely also evolve in some kind of variant ..... maybe and from what I know a Mega stone does not work on a Pokémon's regional counterpart.

But still, how do I even get the Mega stone out of this Orange crystal, looks like I would need to get the help of Gurkinn as he is the only one in the series who I know that can process this thing and he seemed nice enough in the anime but first I must talk with the owner.

"Onix can I hold on to this for now"

"I'll keep it safe, don't worry"

(That went well. Onix seemed to be chill most of the time unless someone flat out challenged it but luckily it's rare for someone to be stupid enough to challenge a ten-meter long crystal snake)

After finding the Mega stone we left the cave and looked around the small Island for something that we may have missed in the area. On the Island, we found two more caves that were filled with crystals however nothing else noteworthy so I decided to go back to town after an hour more of sightseeing as it may take a very long time before we visit this place again. Arriving back in town I immediately went to my parents to give them the news of my new capture as it's still early in the afternoon the market for wares is still bustling and so it took me a while to find my parents.

"Mom, Dad I caught a new Pokémon!"

"Ohh that's amazing Al, what did you catch"

"Your team is building up then, that's good the more Pokémon you have to protect yourself the better"

"Well, I need us to go to the beach as it's too big to be released here in town"

""Too big?""

"Yeah, so is it okay? I thought it may scare or surprise other people here so I decided that going to the beach a little bit away from town could help avoid any problems"

"That's okay Al but what did you even catch"

"It's a surprise!"

.... A few minutes later ....

After walking a few minutes with my parents on the beach we finally reached a bit of distance away from the town and arrived in an unoccupied part of the island that can provide us with some privacy.

"Yeah, here is good. Come out Onix!"

'ROoOOooo!'

When I called out Onix, my parents made a face as if seeing something familiar but very different. They were amazed by the Pokémon but also showed some sign of confusion, thinking of why the Pokémon in front of them does not conform with what they know of its species.

"So, how do you like my new Pokémon, Onix"

"It's an amazing looking Onix Al but where did you even catch it"

"I caught him in one of the caves in the Island, he was just chilling in some body of water inside a large expanse in the cave"

"In the water?"

"Yeah, it seems to be resistant to Water-type and weak to Fire-type, I took notice of it when battling Onix."

"That's odd, a slight mutation in color does not attribute to change in a Pokémon's type or abilities especially on an Onix that is normally weak to Water-types"

"I think it may be like those Pokémon found in Alola"

"I have heard of the variant Pokémon of Alola Albert but as the league has not yet set ground in that Region only little is known about them aside from a few gossips and pictures from tourists"

"So can I keep Onix?"

"Of course, As the Pokeball you used is registered to your mom no one will dare to take it away."

"Neat!"

"Hmm, you showed us quite a surprise Al, so I think it's only fitting we also give you one is that right Drasna."

"You have a surprise for me?"

(This was unexpected but I don't think it can trump my new Pokémon though)

"Your mother is currently three weeks pregnant so you're gonna be a big brother!"

(... I stand corrected)

"I'm gonna be a big brother!"

After my father told me about our new family member I can't help notice him shed a tear of joy and give a face filled with content as if he had just accomplished a great feat which is similar to the expression he makes after finishing a difficult project.

Happy with the good news we decided to celebrate on the cruise after informing Jess and Joseph about the new family member after which we continued our cruise on the orange Island for a few more days before returning to Kalos. Most of the Guest on the ship was once again surprised to see a new Pokémon that I owned that they had yet to see before which they thought to be one I've just not shown due to its size which is understandable as I only ever release Onix when we're on land as I did not want to capsize the ship even though I'm sure it won't happen.

Its been a long and fun vacation as I've gone on this trip hoping to clear some doubts and get some answers but I returned with not only accomplishing both but also obtaining a special stone, a new team member, and a future family member which was more than I ever hoped for.
