Youth Cup-1

The start of the event.

It was early in the morning.

"This place looks amazing.." Aoki said out loud as he looked at the Unova league stadium.

He along with the others was sitting on a train that stopped near the Stadium.

"Although it's small area-wise than ours in Indigo Plateau, visually it surpasses it," Sabrina said who was sitting beside him.

Behind him were Misty and Cynthia who were asleep using each other as support. Beside Cynthia was Caitlin who was Cynthia's childhood friend.

Aoki clicked a picture to keep it as a memory. He woke them up and one by one everyone got off the train to enter the stadium.

The stadium had a total of five battlefields. The center one is the largest with six types of interchange battlefield types.

They were:

1. Grass field

2. Water field

3. Ice filed

4. Forest field

5. Rock filed

6. Plain ground field

Connected to the center were four smaller stadiums with two different interchangeable fields each.

This event was going to be held in the main stadium with the plain ground field.

"Seeing this makes the Hoen league stadium look old, " Phoebe said.

"True, it really needs to be renovated," Steven said.

"Hmhm isn't our stadium awesome!!"Iris exclaimed proudly.

Others agreed with her and entered the stadium.

They were given some time to rest in the largest rooms while the authorities went to verify if everything was in place.

All the people that came as guides went with them too.

Although all the participants only met a few days ago, they formed groups in spite of their rivalry.

People like Steven, Wallace, Aoki, and Aaron, and this group surprisingly included Flint and Siebold.

Everyone in this group was crazy were obsessed with something.

Steven and Aaron would not shut their mouth if they started speaking about stones or bugs.

Wallace would not shut up about how great he looked.

Flint always caused a misunderstanding so he was always made fun of which he seemed to have been enjoying.

Surprisingly Siebold felt the most normal to Aoki when he was not talking about food.

Extroverts like Cynthia, Diantha, Iris, Misty, Karen, and Phoebe formed a group.

Trainers that were calm like Jasmine, Malwa, and Elsa formed a group.

Then the last group was made of introverts like Sabrina who didn't like to interact with people much and Clair who somehow believed herself to be superior to others.

All of the participants were taken to the dining hall for breakfast while the league members made sure that all the preparations are done.

The entire stadium was surrounded by an air of excitement. In spite of the event not being open to normal people, all the seats were occupied by people.

There were cameras and big screens to make the viewing experience amazing.

These people were medium to high-ranking League Members, Police officers, Researchers and their assistants, Influential figures, Investors, etc.

This was a 'cannot miss' event due to the scale of battle that would be happening this year.

Among the crowd of people, sat one woman with four fourteen-year-olds beside her.

They were Professor Juniper from Unova and her recent lab members.

The four children were Rosa, Nate, Hilda, and Hilbert. In the original game series, they were the protagonist of events that took place in the Unova region.

Currently, they were only fourteen and still too young to start their own journey.

"Are you sure we should be here Professor? " Nate said looking at the people sitting around them.

They were sitting on the VIP Seats.

He was nervous because the representatives of all the regions like Elite four Agatha, Drake, and Drasna were sitting behind them.

"Don't worry about it, you all are affiliated with me so don't worry about getting kicked out.

Just enjoy the event and learn from the trainers. " Professor Juniper replied back.

This made all the other kids a bit carefree.

They waited for a while till the announcer announced the beginning of the event.

One by one all the participants entered the stadium and were welcomed with a lot of cheers.

"Ladies and Gentlemen I welcome you all to the Fourth Inter Region Youth Cup !!!".

Misty and Iris almost jumped with excitement to see such a large crowd cheering for her.

Aoki ignored what the announcer was saying, looked towards the VIP seats, and was surprised to see the four people sitting there.

'So they exist too'

He looked toward the audience and saw that some people were weaving the flags of their different regions to show support.

After all the trainers were introduced, the rules of the competition were explained.

There will be three rounds in the span of the next few days in which trainers will compete against each other in a 6v6 battle.

The first trainer to lose all six of his Pokemon is eliminated.

If Pokemon of both teams get wiped out at the same time or in short a draw happens, both trainers would be eliminated.

Finally, the prizes of the event were announced which got everyone excited.

1st prize - 10 Million Pokedollar, Free air, and water travel for six months, become a candidate for the future elite four, a guaranteed position as a high-ranking league member.

2nd prize-8 Million Pokedollar, Free air and water travel for three months, become a candidate for the future elite four, a guaranteed position as a high-ranking league member.

3rd prize-6 Million Pokedollar, Free air for three months, become a candidate for the future elite four, a guaranteed position as a high-ranking league member.

Lastly, a Pokemon to choose from the list with priority according to the position earned. The items to improve their strength will also be provided.

All the Pokemon listed were very rare and could become very strong if they are raised properly, especially the Larvitar.

All the Pokemon were guaranteed to have very high potential so getting any one of them would be a great addition.

The revelation of the prizes raised excitement in both the crowd and the trainers as this time the league was being very generous.

After all the announcements were made, the matchups of the first round were announced which would commence in the next few minutes.
