122 The tree of life.

"Thank you so much for bringing my friend home safely…." Celebi said softly in Aoki's ears.

"I didn't do it just for the sake of helping….

We made a deal, that I will get something in return for helping her," Aoki said.

"That is not a problem, it is the way nature works.

Everything in nature works in some way of give and take…." Celebi said.

She didn't mention the fact that nature for some reason favored Aoki very much.

Both of them watched the baby Zapdos snuggle to his parent with a comfortable expression.

"I was scared of you and your companion since he is someone whose hands are soaked in an ocean of blood…

Although I am still scared of you, but nature told me that you would not hurt me….

You will not hurt me and the others right?" Celebi asked giving Aoki a puppy eye.

"If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done that by now. I would have not fed and played with the others.

So you can trust me"

"Thank you...

Since you helped my friend, I will keep the other part of my deal.

Follow me~"

Celebi started flying in a direction as Aoki started to follow her on Charizard's back.

As they flew, various Pokemon waved at them with cheerful expressions.

They reached a place that looked like a large patch of tall grass.

[This is the place I talked about ] Darkrai informed Aoki.

Celebi made a round around the path of grass as glitters as a path opened up leading underground.

Aoki followed Celebi into the hole and was immediately amazed to see a path made of glowing flowers that he had never seen before.

The path of flowers took a solid minute till it opened up to an underground chamber whose walls were made with the same glowing flowers.

The entire ground was filled with ores of different evolution stones and precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, etc.

"These are the things that I had found over the years, I had no use for them so you have these "

Aoki froze seeing all the ores in front of him.

'Isn't this too much…..'

He would become a millionaire if he sold everything that was present there.

"Are you sure you want me to have them?"

"Yes, neither I nor the pokemon here have any use for them.

I have already spread all the useful ores like the thunderstones and others all over the space to help the Pokemon."

Aoki wanted to see what the ores were but Celebi dragged Aoki to another path made of flowers which opened up a new world.

The entire area felt like an endless land of grass with the sky glowing in a light yellow tint.

At the center was a giant tree with blue glowing leaves.

Charizard landed near the tree with Aoki and felt like he was enveloped in a motherly warm hug by someone.

Just seeing the tree once gave Aoki a sense of satisfaction never before.

"The tree of life….I thought that it was destroyed long ago..." Darkrai muttered appearing beside Aoki.

"It is said that it was one of the first trees that Arceus created. This was the place where Mew hatched from an egg. " Darkrai said.

"You are indeed correct…this is the place where the first Mew was born.

Moreover, this is the place where I was born"

Darkrai looked at Aoki as he didn't get any response but he found that Aoki was frozen in his spot his eyes glowing blue along with the tree of life.

Celebi was a bit shocked to see that. For some reason nature favored Aoki but she never expected it to be at this level.

"The tree of life is communicating with him….

Even though I was born from it, it never talked to me…." Celebi said.

A few moments passed as Aoki stood there motionless before speaking.

"Acreus was not the one who created the tree...it existed even before him.

The tree emits faint energy that is similar to the dark aura of mine…."

This revelation was shaking for both Darkrai and Celebi but they didn't interfere with Aoki.

"There was someone before Arceus who was the master of the planet….who created the trees…the living beings…..the dark aura we use is a part of his power…the power of the original owner"

A large amount of Dark aura was emitted out of Aoki's body and got absorbed into the tree making it glow even brighter.

A large flower started to bloom from the tree and exploded in bright light after it matured.

When Aoki's eyes got adjusted to the light, he found himself in the middle of a battlefield.

But everything was frozen.

Hundreds of Pokemon could be seen fighting with a river of blood flowing on the ground.

Neither Celebi nor Darkrai or any other of his Pokemon.

'Where the hell am I '

He looked at himself to find that he was not in his original body but have become a humanoid white wisp. He could neither speak nor feel anything on his skin.

He could still use his eyes and use Dark aura so it was not too bad.

Aoki looked back and saw that the tree was still behind him but no one was there with him.

Aoki looked at the sky and a chill ran down his spine seeing a large black Pokemon snake-like Pokemon frozen in the sky.

'Mega Rayquaza…well that is something….'

'This place may be a memory of nature

He moved along the battlefield and saw many Pokemon that he had never seen before along with Pokemon that look similar to the ones currently existing.

On a closer look, it was found that there were two parties fighting in the battle.

One side was an army with a black cloak around them while the other had a purple cloak around them.

As soon as he touched any of the Pokemon, they turned into ashes.

Aoki halted his steps as he stood in front of a black Dragon Pokmon.

The Pokemon had blue flames coming out of its mouth and blue fire on its tail.

'Is this what I think it is!'

As soon as Aoki touched the Pokemon, it turned into ash leaving behind a small stone with a pattern engraved on it.

Aoki picked up the stone and closely inspected it.

'This is a mega stone for Charizard no doubt….even the energy it is releasing matches with Charizard'.

Aoki began running on the battlefield searching for Pokemon that he owned or might own and began touching them.

Some of them turned to ashes, some of them turned to bones and some of them turned into very high-quality dusk stones.

But some of them left behind a mega stone.

The ones Aoki collected belonged to Charizard, Gyarados, Salamance, Haxoros, Garchomp, Slaking, Alakazam, and Metagross.

Except for Charizard and Salamance, he found multiple copies of the others. Aoki noticed that only the Pokemon who were wrapped in a black flame-like cloak left behind something while the ones with purple cloaks didn't leave anything.

He even saw the Gengar that he once fought in the Lavender Town in his mega form but unfortunately he didn't leave anything behind.

He thought of touching the Rayquaza but he could not reach so high up in the sky.

Finally, he stood in front of pitch-black Pokemon whose hands were covered in blood.

'Darkrai….'

It was the same Darkrai who traveled with him.

But instead of the calm and collected he always was, the Darkrai in front of him had a crazy expression as a pile of dead Pokemon lay below his legs.

Opposite to Darkrai, flying was a small pink Pokemon Mew who was about to use a psychic attack.

He touched the figure of Darkrai and the same as others, it turned into ash but left a black pulsating orb which Aoki.

As soon as he touched the orb, he felt as if someone was looking at him. Aoki looked back to find a black humanoid shadow-like figure with two purple eyes looking at him.

The figure felt as if was entirely made of dark aura.

"We shall meet one day…..the child who inherited my power"

The figure disappeared after which the space around him started to break apart as he found himself back in the real world.

In the real world, a few minutes had passed since Aoki's eyes blanked out but as soon as his consciousness returned, the space around him rippled out of which came out all the mega stones, dusk stones, and the pulsating orb that he collected.

Celebi felt an immense threat from the orb and immediately moved back while Darkrai just stared at the orb for a few seconds.

The tree returned to its former glow as it was before Aoki came.

Aoki moved his body and was relieved to find that he was back in his normal body.

"How did you get this ?" Darkrai asked pointing at the orb.

Aoki explained everything that he saw making Darkrai surprised as he didn't recall anything regarding that battle.

Celebi listened to the story and approached Aoki with some more questions.

Her world was a bit shaken as she till now believed that it was Arceus who created everything.

"Do you know what this is?" Aoki asked Darkrai.

"Yes….it's is an orb made of pure energy of chaos. It is similar to the one that I took from Gengar."

"Will it make you stronger if you absorbed it ?"

"Yes…a lot and make me regain a lot of my abilities "

"How long with it take for you ?" Aoki asked.

"About a week "

"You can start immediately and absorb these dusk stones too while you are at it. "
