Chapter 1

Viktor was getting back from checking things out at the game store after the long 10 hours of work he just got dismissed from. He was extremely tired and disappointed for the day since the gamestore seemed to run out of copy of the game he wanted to purchase. At the very least he can relax for a while.

And what a relaxing time he'll be having, as he's got the next week off of work due to some sort of manager holiday. That gives him time to rack up hours in the remakes for

Diamond and Pearl that recently came out on the Switch. Viktor had been a fan of the Pokémon series for..., as long as he could remember, really. He was a casual player of the game however and only recently did he start getting into the competitive play so he wouldn't call himself a expert at the very least.

He was walking around a corner and suddenly noticed bright lights in his peripheral vision, turning around and he got the fright of his life watching as a truck was speeding in his direction. But it was sadly too late for him to move and everything ended up going black.

To his surprise he woke up in a bed, slowly opening his eyes he began to look around the room and started to notice how different it look from his own or the standard hospital room, it felt too homely to him.

''Where the hell am I?'' He yawned and noticed that he doesn't feel any pain for someone that was supposely had a truck ramming into them, rather he feels very refreshed as if he just had the best nap in weeks. Suddenly he's assaulted by a massive headache thats threatening to split his head in half.

He gained memory of a life he never lived but somehow feels very real, a life of him being reborn into the Weaver family, his parents were Rangers and while they were usually called a lot they were given a break due to their newborn son, but after he grew up a little they began to head back to work to keep the Sinnoh region safe for both civillians and trainers alike. He was named Kyran Weaver after his grandfather, they lived in a small town named Twinleaf.

He was neighbour with the famous Johanna and her daughter Dawn, they were childhood friends but lately they've been talking less and less ever since Dawn managed to become Professor Rowan's assistant. In a few days time they were going to get their starting Pokémon to begin their journey.

He won't be getting a Pokémon from the professor though he had asked his parents for one since they were top ranger themselves they've probably met a lot of breeders that could provide a worth while Pokémon for him and he was right because they came through for him with a Pokémon egg, though they didn't tell him what pokemon was about to hatch from it, not like he minded anyway the mystery of it was a little exciting after all, besides he already has an idea of what type of Pokémon it might be based on his past interactions with it but one can never be too sure.

Getting up and shaking off the little headache that remained from the forceful memory that was implated into his brain. Honestly it felt more like a movie rather than him living in it so he doesn't feel that different personality wise.

'This feels so surreal to suddenly get reincarnated into Pokémon, but somehow i feel excited for what comes next, its not like i had much going on in my previous life besides that god awful job deadend job and my games.' Thought Kyran while walking to the restroom in order to hopefully find a mirror to look at his new self.

'Well lets have a look then, since im now fourteen nearing fifteen years of age i shouldn't look so dead inside unlike my previous self.' Looking at himself now he sees that he still has his short messy ebony hair but this time they seemed to have a grey undertone on the tips, he has vibrant grey eyes now that feel like they glow or maybe thats just his imagination being affected by the adrenaline thats surging through him right now due to his excitement, his ears were pierced with small hoop earrings that looked to be made out of silver, he had pale white skin but not the sickly type and his face was shaped nicely with a sharp jawline and a small nose, though he also had a small scar on his neck that he remembered getting in his childhood because he was messing with a starly.

''Not bad, seems like i was blessed i just hope that didn't use up all my luck I'll probably be needing that later on though i do like the sound of my voice thankfully its not squeaky.'' Thought Kyran before he went back to his bedroom and looked at the egg thats in the incubator on his desk. 'It should hatch in a few hours to a day, I honestly can't wait, hope it's something good.'

After being lost in his thoughts he decided to freshen up and go downstairs to see if anyone was home.

"Good morning sweetie, theres some toast with butter and juice on the table if you're hungry.'' Said a beautiful lady in her early 40s and this lady was his mother Arianna Weaver. Unlike him her hair was completely ashen grey and her eye colored were the same grey he inherited.

''Morning, was dad called for a mission?'' Asked Kyran since he's usually here eating at this time.

''Yup, he won't be back for a few days he's helping with a investigation at the moment.'' Replied Arianna.

Usually Rangers are always active but since my parents have been working there for a long time now one stays home to take care of me while the other goes out for the mission, of course there are always exceptions where sometimes they both have to go and i stay home alone with Johanna coming to check up on me every so often.

''Well that sucks he won't be here to see the egg hatch then, did the custom pokeballs come in?'' Asked Kyran with visible excitement, he wanted to have something unique for his first Pokémon after all and any other he wanted to catch later down the line.

''They came in in the morning while you were asleep, though you only get to have six so take good care of them since they were pretty expensive.'' Seeing his excitement amused her a little after all she was also like this when she was about to start out.

''Awesome! I'm going to do my daily exercises since i have nothing to do now that I finished school, bye!'' After eating a toast as quick as possible he proceeded to head for the door to leave his house.

''Wait! Shouldn't you stay home to watch the egg it could hatch at any moment you know!'' Quickly yelled Arianna knowing he sometimes forgot stuff in his excitement.

''It should be fine mom, It wont hatch for another few hours and I'll be quick i promise!'' Yelled Kyran as soon as he left the house.

After a few hours Kyran found himself breathing heavily due to his daily workout, though it hasn't beared any fruits since he only really started a month ago to prepare for his journey but to be perfectly honest he should've probably started earlier than that but to be fair he was still in school and doing homework was stressful work afterall. Yup thats definetly not an excuse for being lazy.

'Thats was pretty tiresome but since you never know what might happen out there I'll gladly keep working out, you never know one day I might need to run for my life because i pissed off the wrong Pokemon or stumbled into its territory on accident.'

Hahh!

He released a deep breath before getting up and looking at his surroundings. He was currently in a wide clearing near Twinleaf town, if he kept going further he could reach the lake thats nearby but that would be foolish without a Pokémon of his own you never know what dangers lurk in the forest afterall.

His house was only like twenty minutes away from the clearing and like thirsty or so away from the lake so he reached relatively quickly, and took a quick shower to get rid of the sweat he accumulated during his workout. It was still quite early in the day at around 2pm since he woke up at 11am, he's been doing that a lot lately since he didn't have to bother with an alarm anymore due to school being over and he probably won't be sleeping in such comfy bed every day once he begins with journey he feels like he should make the best of what he currently has.

'This honestly feels like a dream, one moment i was dreading life and the next i couldn't wait to live it. I'm surprised im so calm about this even though the memories didn't affect me as much I'll still appreciate my current parents its the least i can do.' Mused Kyran.

'Since Dawn herself hasn't started her journey I'm probably in the timeline where Ash starts off his Sinnoh journey as well.'' Concluded Kyran after a short while.

''Urgh its so boring, even though i woke up not so long ago maybe i should take a nap to kill time?''

Hm..

''I'm not that tired though so i guess thats out of the window. Okay then!'' Slapping his cheeks to focus up he suddenly stands up goes to his computer to browse though previous battles to see if he can learn a few things from them.''

A hour into browsing the web there's a sudden sound of cracking in the room. Whipping his head around and getting up to go and look at the egg theres a small crack that keeps expanding slowly throughout the egg.

''Oh! Its finally hatching I thought I would have to wait a bit more thank Arceus, I was getting bored of waiting anyway.''

After a few minutes of watching the pokemon break the egg and finally come out into the world it releases a low cry.

''No way a-''
