379 CH12 (376), Nice Time At The Hotel No.2

We left the house just a minute shy of 8 a.m. and arrived at the Aero City Teleportation Hub at exactly 8:30 a.m., thanks to the services provided by Mr. Mime.

We stopped just outside the hub and proceeded to wait for Ace and his mother, who arrived only 5 minutes after we did. Together we headed towards our hotel, where the Field family and Misty were waiting for us in the lobby.

We went to check in, and since the reservations were done by mom, our rooms were all beside one another. After everyone took a look at their respective rooms, we went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, where we discussed what we would be doing first.

There was the waterpark, as well as the airpark, but that was obviously not the only activity/attraction available. The hotel offered a shuttle service toward a beach only 20 minutes away, that was reserved/rented by the hotel. There was also a plethora of sports as well as game rooms available to guests.

Not to mention the evening shows provided by the hotel as entertainment for guests. Tonight for example a mixed dance group from Johto was performing at 9 p.m.

Everyone agreed that they wanted to see the evening performance by the Kimono Girls so that one was unanimously agreed upon. Rose and Misty were especially excited when we saw the Kimono Girls in the evening program brochure.

I was wondering if it was okay if I filmed part of the performance for Jessica since she was especially interested in stuff like this. Not too sure of the legality of it, I turned to the adults in the room and asked if I could do it.

Well, turns out that it depended on the type, or rather the stage of the performance. As long as the performance was held in an open event kind of formats such as a game break or a hotel venue, then it was acceptable to record parts of the whole thing. It was not nice to record the whole thing, but even that was not expressly forbidden.

However, it was strictly forbidden to record performances that were closed events such as concerts and so on since one specifically had to pay to see/witness the performance.

For me, that meant that it was alright to record the Kimono Girls this evening and that was all that mattered for now, even if I understood where they were coming from.

Anyway, after settling on the evening program, we began to discuss what to do until then, and the opinions split in two. One group, mostly consider of males, wanted to explore the hotel and check out what it has to offer. *ahem* game rooms *ahem* *cough* pool room and bowling alley *cough* Ace and Rose were the most vocal members of this group.

Meanwhile, the other group wanted to check out the beach. Misty was the most fervent one in this group. Personally, I chose to abstain from choosing a group, so both groups and up having 4 people, which resulted in me being stared at by everyone since I had effectively become the tiebreaker.

Internally complaining that they were behaving childishly, I began brokering peace, and with that, I meant I simply pointed out that we could do both. There was no reason to go through all the game/sports rooms at once, so we would go to one or two of them until lunch, and after that, we would go to the beach.

We could stay there until after dinner since the hotel had a restaurant with a terrace on/beside the beach, so we only had to take the 8 p.m. shuttle bus back to the hotel to make it in time for the performance.

We decided to start with bowling and see if we would keep at it until lunch, so once everyone was done eating, we all headed there and reserved two lanes since 9 people sharing a single lane would result in too much waiting time for everyone involved.

Thankfully, the bowling alley/room was pretty empty, probably since no one bothered coming here at 9:21 in the morning. Well, I learned that as a result of all my aura and psychic exercises, as well as passives, on top of my physical exercises, I had enough strength and fine control, along with computing capacity, that I could easily achieve a strike after only two or three test throws.

Ace was nearly as good as I was, while the others were pretty good as well, with all of them getting either a strike or a spare most of the time. Only poor Rose was at the bottom rung and she was starting to pout after the fifth round of getting the worst result.

She decided to sit the rest of the games out after the first game since she saw no way to compete with the rest. I decided to sit out as well but in my case, it was because the others could not compete with me. Since that was the case, the other seven began continued to play, while the two of us cheered them on.

Being the loyal non-simp that I was, I obviously cheered for mom and Misty. Dad mock complained, and I threw a few encouragements at him as well. Rose on the other hand cheered for her mom and dad. Their games were pretty exciting since their results were neck to neck at the end of each game, but dad ended up being the ultimate winner after coming out first in 2 of the 7 games they played.

Together with the first game, we spent nearly four hours just bowling, which meant that it was time for lunch. However, we first went to our rooms to freshen up, not that Rose and I really needed it, but the rest certainly did, so all of us went back.

Obviously, everyone made sure to take/pack his or her swimwear as well before we headed for lunch. Once that was also settled, we took the 2 p.m. shuttle toward the beach, and everyone changed into their swim gear at the available cabins.

Misty and Rose were fishing for compliments from me after they came out after changing and the others chuckled at my predicament while I praised the two until they felt satisfied. I was just being efficient since it was better to do that than being stared at or them sulking because I didn't. Yes, that's all.

Anyway, since many of us had brought along their bags, one person would have to keep an eye on them unless everyone brought them along into the water, which was certainly possible due to their water resistance, but not really comfortable with our current get-ups.

Still, since apparently, all three more mature females wanted to lie down and sunbathe instead, despite actually being part of the group that insisted on coming to the beach, they were saddled with watching the bags.

I was not worried about anyone rummaging through the bag since it was locked, just like the other bags. Anyway, we left the trio to roast under the sun while we stepped into the ocean to swim around.

Misty was without a doubt the best swimmer among us, but she was Misty, so that was not a surprise. Ace was better than I was as well thanks to time at a marine academy, but I was not too far off thanks to all the trips to the sea I did. All that swimming and diving had made me a pretty good swimmer.

Still, after we noticed that Rose could not keep up with us once we got a bit competitive, we brought her to her dad and mine, before we did a set of swimming challenges between us which Misty ended up winning.

Once we got that bit of competitiveness out of the way, we rejoined Rose and the older guys and just played as well as chilled in the water. We did some diving and looked for interesting fish or water Pokemon.

At some point, Ace decided that jumping off a cliff would be cool. There was a 15 to 20 meters tall one only a few minutes on foot from the beach zone, so he insisted on going there. I was not really interested in doing that since I had done something similar quite a few times by simply levitating up and then diving down courtesy of gravity.

I offered to do that for him as well but he insisted on doing it the "right" way, so I simply told him to have fun. Rose did not want to do something like that, so she stayed behind as well, and Misty ended up doing the same citing that she had already done it countless times, so she did not feel like doing it right now.

Dad and Uncle Thorn tagged along with Ace and they came swimming toward us less than 10 minutes later. By that point, I had already been out here for more than two hours, so I decided to return to the beach to drink some water, and the others tagged along.

The women apparently felt like they had gotten enough sunlight, and said that they were going out this time. Dad and uncle Thorn naturally tagged along and Ace followed after his mother as well. I decided to let them go swimming while I would lie down a bit to meditate.

I thought that it would be interesting to meditate on the ground energy found on the beach. Misty decided to stay back as well saying that it was her turn to sunbathe now. She even asked me to apply a round of sun cream on her, and Rose seeing her acting like that decided to join her.

We stayed like that for more than an hour before we had Ace take over so that we could swim for another hour or so. After that it was already time for dinner, so we all took a shower before heading to the beach restaurant for dinner.

Following that, we took the shuttle bus back to the hotel. We agreed that we would meet up in half an hour so that we could go to the Kimono Girls' dance performance. The 30 minutes would give everyone a chance to take a proper shower and change into a fresh getup.

Taking a proper shower after taking a dip in saltwater was important for the skin and hair, so everyone had to do it. Anyway, as agreed upon we met up first before we made our way to the stage area. We found ourselves some empty seats in the fourth row since there were still 20 minutes until the start.

As time ticked by all seats began to fill up and those that came on time had to stand at the back if they insisted on staying. Just as I had planned to, I recorded most of the performance for Jessica and I was going to send the best parts to her once I was back in my room.

The performance itself was really great. The dancing of the women and their Eeveelutions was harmonious and mesmerizing. It was not a fast dance but a more sedated one, yet it did not feel slow or boring at all. I personally liked it and seeing how everyone was applauding now that the ladies were done, I would say they agreed with me.

We went back to our rooms once the 60 minutes performance was over, and I sent multiple clips to Jessie before I started another meditation session that lasted an hour. Only then did I go to sleep.

The next 3 days we made sure to visit all attractions and many of the interesting entertainment rooms, but in the end, our 4 days of vacation were over and we had to check out. Unlike with the winter-themed hotel, I felt like I could have probably enjoyed staying for another 2 or 3 days.

Still, it was fine. We could always come back at another time. Everyone else left for their respective homes/cities/towns, including my parents, but I did not since Fuchsia City was not too far from Aero City, so I directly headed there instead.

I would be starting my investigation into the rumor I heard at the lab from there, so after bidding farewell to everyone, I left for Fuchsia City.
