25 Team Rocket Blasting Off Again! (25)

Pikachu after getting hit by a Pokeball, tries to run away into the bushes but suddenly a Dustox, Cacnea and a Seviper surround the poor guy.

"Pikachu!" The little guy shouts in distress seeing that he had no where to run. Dawn with a concerned look starts to stare at the group of Pokemon.

"What are they doing here?" She asks as I just shrug as I "don't know" as well. Soon after this a random Meowth pops up out of no where and starts to speak.

"They're my Pikachu crew." The Pokemon says in an intimidating voice. Hearing this I start to smirk a little as the ridiculousness of the situation is very apparent.

"Woah, a talking Meowth!" Dawn exclaims in surprise. Taking out her Pokedex she scans it.

"Meowth, the scratch cat Pokemon. It sleeps a lot during the day time and during the night time moves around in its territory." Dawn looking back at the Meowth still with a surprised look, sees it turn around.

"What the Pokedex doesn't tell you is that not only am I the cream of the crop but I'm the king of all the cuties." Meowth says with a happy face as I start to cringe a little. Right after his words I sense the other two near the bushes.

"Eureka!" A female's voice could be heard behind Meowth.

"Looks like we've struck Pikachu gold." Another voice but make this time says as they go behind Meowth. Dawn and I ignoring their little dialogue start to get a little annoyed.

"There's no way they're friend with Pikachu." Dawn says with a resolute look. Looking over at Pikachu I command Chimchar to get ready to battle.

Team Rocket ignoring us, starts to bombard the poor Pikachu with all the moves they could.

"Char chimchar!" Chimchar could be heard excited at the prospect of battling.

"Pip piplu!" Piplup agreeing with a Chimchar, tugs on Dawn's legs wanting to help the Pikachu. Dawn seeing this nods at Piplup.

"Piplup, [Bubble Beam]!" She shouts.

"Chimchar, [Ember]!" I shout right after as I forgot to check Chimchar's moves beforehand. The both of them hearing us, immediately use their moves.

*Crackle**Pop pop*

The two attacks without the other Pokemon noticing, hit their targets sending them flying.

"Good job guys." Dawn and I say as we get in front of Pikachu, blocking him from team rocket.

"Look, who ever you guys are, Pikachu clearly doesn't know who y'all are." Dawn says determined to save Pikachu. Soon after this Team Rocket started to do their little introduction, start to do heaps of poses before I had enough.

-[Ember] at the Woman Chimchar- I tell my Pokemon through our link. Chimchar hearing this grins and uses [Ember]

"To denoun-" before she could finish she heard something coming her way.

*Crackle*

The [Ember] finding its way to Jessie and Meowth, making them stop their intro and start to panick.

"It's burning over here!" Meowth shouts. Right after they recover, Meowth gathers up all the other Pokemon and tells them to attack. "No mercy gang!" Meowth shouts with a few burns on his fur.

"Get them!" Jessie shouts flustered.

"They don't know what hit 'em!" James shouts right after.

"[Bubble Beam] go!" Dawn shouts. Piplup not slacking, uses a [Bubble Beam] while the Pikachu now to the side of us uses [Thunder Bolt].

*Pop*

"Chuu!"

Both moves hitting their targets sends Team Rocket blasting off again. Dawn and I seeing this celebrate a little.

"Yay!" Dawn shouts with Pikachu and Piplup doing a little dance. But with the fatigue getting to Pikachu, he slumps to the floor.

"Is he okay." I ask as Dawn picks the Pikachu up.

"I'm not sure but we better find a Pokemon centre." Dawn replies immediately. With my one bike not having enough space for all our Pokemon, we both return our starters and sit together on the bike with Dawn practically giving me a hug while blushing.

With Pikachu in the little basket recovering, I start to head off to the nearest Pokemon centre.

"Is he fine now Nurse Joy?" Dawn asks concerned for Pikachu. Nurse joy hearing this gets a smile on her face and reassures Dawn that Pikachu is fine.

Right after we got Pikachu back up and running we went to public computers with me calling my parents and Dawn calling her mum.

"Hey mum, I just over two town away at the Pokemon centre!" I tell her in a happy mood as we started to converse for a little while. This took up a few minutes with my mum reminding me to clean my underwear making me embarrassed as Dawn heard it.

"Hehehe." Dawn giggles as she looks at me with Piplup mimicking her. Soon after this Dawn and Piplup got into a fight about not catching any Pokemon while I introduced my Chimchar to my parents.

"He's so cute!" My mum squeals out while my dad just gave me a thumbs up. This went on for a little bit before I said my goodbyes.

"Dawn you finished talking yet?" I ask her as.

"Yeah I'm about to call Professor Rowan right now." She replies as she inputs a number on the computer. The screen after a few seconds of waiting, showed Professor Rowan standing up in the lab while looking at the camera.

"Just look at you four, are you guys getting along?" He questions with a warm look as he sees Dawn's and Piplup's unkempt looks. We went off to explain how we saved a Pikachu from some bad guys and we're gonna search for its trainer.

"Did they survive that fall?" I mumble out as Dawn over hears me and shivers a little. The landing I would imagine wouldn't have been smooth or soft for Team Rocket.

After chatting with Professor Rowan for a bit longer and getting the goal of arriving at Jubilife City, we headed out with Dawn getting back on my bike with a blush.

'This isn't too bad.' I think to myself as I feel her heart beat.

--POV Ash—

"Aipom, do you see any signs of Team Rocket's balloon!" Ash shouts. Aimpom getting down from the tree shakes his head as Ash gets a frown on his face.

"I sure hope Pikachu is okay Aipom." Ash mumbles as he aimlessly keeps on walking.
