22 Legendary (22)

'This will be interesting.' I say to myself as I slowly follow Dawn without her noticing me. She is currently already partnered up with Piplup. Dawn found the both Piplup and Chinchar fighting so she tried to convince them to both come back.

Though because of their argument, I doubt she could actually do that right off the bat.

"Stop that Piplup." Dawn tells Piplup, reprimanding him. Piplup not having any of it, uses a [Bubble Beam] on her but she thankfully dodges it.

"That's not nice!" She shouts at the two starters as they both ran deeper into the forest. Dawn getting an annoyed look quickly runs after them.

Following Dawn, it took a little bit before she was able to find Piplup again but this time, weaved into a web.

He seems to have gotten himself into a little bit of trouble when chasing Chimchar.

"Piplup!" The Pokemon shouted as it struggled. Multiple other Pokemon such as Rattata and Pidgey could be seen stuck as well.

Dawn walking up to the spider web, tries to free Piplup but is met with an Ariados attacking her.

*Boom!*

Dawn dodging the attack, looks at the crater with a nervous look. She has trained herself physically because of seeing me workout, so she is a bit more athletic than she was in the anime.

The ariados now a little irritated started to spam a few more attacks with [Infestation]. Dawn while screaming, dodges all of the attacks.

*Boom!*

"I've had enough of this." Dawn exclaims as she now starts to run towards the original web Piplup was stuck on. Dodging and weaving through the trees, she makes her way back to the web unscathed with Ariados right on her track.

"Don't worry Piplup, I got this." Dawn says reassuring Piplup who was currently distressed right now at seeing her being attacked.

The Ariados using another [Infestation] on Dawn, misses and instead breaks his own web. This in turn freed all the Pokemon including Piplup.

'Smart thinking.' I thought to myself watching this scene. She really knows how to use her brain in a tough situation.

Piplup now mid air, starts to panick but not before getting caught by a sprinting Dawn who tried to make her way out of the forest.

Instead of making their way out though, they fall down a little ledge and decided to take a break. Dawn and Piplup started to interact a bit more with Dawn trying to befriend the penguin.

"No wonder you were so grumpy, you're just hungry right~" Dawn says teasing Piplup. Piplup getting embarrassed, looks away while his stomach made a loud noise. Dawn taking some food from her bag tries to feed Piplup but gets rejected.

"Piplup." The Pokemon said in refusal. After a few seconds though, a few Ariadoses find their position and start to attack them.

-Aegislash, go to her shadow and protect her. I'll have Slowbro with me- I tell my ace as he sneakily heads towards Dawn's direction.

Taking out a Pokeball from my spatial ring, I send out Slowbro.

*Ztzszszsz*

"Yawn~"

Now with Slowbro with me I got him to quickly sense where Chimchar and the two birds were. They got to the lab by themselves but anything could happen.

-Master, the other Pokemon seem to be fine. They are just trying to get the cheeky Chimchar onto their claws so they can fly him back- Slowbro informs me. Hearing this I sigh in relief and slowly follow Dawn from a distance.

"[Bubble Beam]!" Dawn shouts as Piplup tries to break the string keeping them trapped in. Dawn used her Pokemon food as bait and tried to stall for Piplup as he breaks the a small hole in the webs.

"We're out!" Dawn shouts but before they could leave, a string shot hits her legs and starts to drag her away.

-Aegislash, send all the Ariadoses flying with [Slash]- I command him as I didn't want to risk Dawn's safety.

Aegislash hearing me through the link, quickly while Dawn was turned around he used [Slash] on all the enemies, sending them flying.

Dawn not feeling a tug on her leg anymore hesitantly turned around.

"They're all gone?" Dawn says confused turning around to the sight of just a plain forest with a few strings on the trees.

Not wanting to attract more attention, she fed Piplup the last of the Pokefood and bonded with him a bit next to Lake Verity.

"We should head out n-" Dawn was cut off by a huge surge of wind starting to circle around the middle of the lake.

*Fwooom!*

A Pokemon transparent Pokemon could barely be seen moving around the lake angelically. It seems to have been looking over Dawn in a weird way.

'Amazing.' I said to myself looking a the Pokemon. Soon after this though, the legendary disappeared and everything went back to normal.

It was like nothing ever happened.

Looking around I saw Dawn with a complex face right now not knowing what to do.

"Let's just head back now." Dawn says for the second time as Piplup and her made their way safely out of the forest.

Seeing this I returned Slowbro to his Pokeball.

-Aegislash good work, comeback to my shadow- I praise my ace as he giddily comes back into my shadow. I can now feel my Pokémon's emotions which is new.

Still don't know what's it's limits but it's a good ability to have in general. With my eyes gaining a pink hue, I teleport somewhere close to the lab without anyone seeing me.

'I couldn't make a telepathic link with that legendary for some reason.' I thought to myself.

After a little bit, I met up back with Dawn and Piplup near the lab entrance to voice out my excuse.

"Hey Dawn! I couldn't get Chimchar but saw him getting dragged by a Staravia back here." I tell her with a relieved look. Dawn still holding onto the penguin gives me a taunting smirk.

"You had an eventful search." She said in a sarcastic way. Ignoring her words I made my way back into the Lab with her right behind me.
