14 Double Evolution (14)
-Master do I need evolve?-
Looking down at my Slowpoke with a gentle look I reply.
-This is for the best, I've already told you the advantages right?- I tell him. It's been a few weeks since I've caught Slowpoke and he has progressing quite well in training. My family and I are currently now at the Indigo Plateau and are gonna watch some contestants trying to qualify into the top 16.
There are four buildings which the first three are used to filter out the rest of the competition, while the last building is for the top 16 to battle it out.
As you could guess we were going to watch in one of the first three building in a few hours.
-I know master, but it might huwwt-
Hearing Slowpoke procrastinate a little it took a little bit before I was able to convince him to evolve. A lot of high quality food goes a long way.
The reason I wanted him to evolve is because the sooner you evolve the better. This isn't the games where you need to care about level up moves. They learn the moves when they are capable of using them.
So its better to give them heaps of time to adjust to their new bodies instead of waiting. Another reason is for him to watch the incoming Indigo League battles.
I want him to observe and learn. His still young but he's not stupid, every psychic type has advanced thinking and him evolving will help him comprehend how a fight works.
-Just stand still, I'll tell Fred to bite your tail okay?-
Inform Slowpoke as he starts close his eyes shaking a little waiting for Fred.
Taking out a Pokeball I tap the centre twice.
*Ztszszszszzz*
A red beam hits the ground and after a few seconds manifests a clam half a metre tall.
-Shellder, bite onto Slowpoke's tail- I commanded the Pokemon. The Shellder going behind Slowpoke gets up to hit tail and latches on.
As the Shellder clamps down on Slowpoke's tail they start to get surrounded by a bright glow.
"Fuck that's bright." I murmur taking my eyes off the two Pokemon. After a few seconds the light starts to dim as it retracts back inside the newly evolved Slowbro.
Looking back I see a Slowbro that's about 1.3m (4"9) pumping his fist in the air in joy. Smiling at the scene, I walked over to the Slowbro glee written all over my face.
Slowbro was just about a few inches shorter than me, but that should be fine considering this isn't his full height as he's still young.
-How you feel buddy?-
Slowbro snapped out of his little celebration looks towards my direction still doing a little celebration.
-I feel amazing master, but my tail feels a little numb- Slowbro says while looking at his tail. Shellder seems to be a little bigger than other Slowbro's that I've seen on the internet.
Speaking about the internet though, a quick change of plans I made was to wait till I could branch out my app to other countries. The reason for this is so no one that visits Sinnoh and uses the app, gets the idea to copy it and profit.
So I told my parents to delay it till they make a newer and "better" version of their smartphone if you know what I mean.
-You and Shellder both are both in an interesting situation. He feeds off your tail while you can use him as a good defence for attacks. He uses a poison to numb you of the pain on you tail but not to the point where you can't feel it.- I explain to Slowpoke.
I wanted him to know this information so he doesn't shy away from using Shellder as his defence.
The two have a Mutualism Symbiotic relationship where the Shellder survives on Slowbro's tail and Slowbro can use Shellder for defending and at times attacking prey.
"It's your turn now Doublade." I say in a near whisper. Doublade still hearing me pops out of the ground to the left of me slowly.
-I will evolve you into a Aegislash okay?- I tell him.
-I'm looking forward to this master! You've told me so many times how useful my evolutions shield would be paired with our telepathic talking- I hear Doublade say in our link making me a little embarrassed.
'I talked about the combo a few times. Surely it wasn't that many times to the point where even he remembers it.' I thought trying to convince myself. Snapping myself out of my self talk, I pull out a small dusk stone that is barely bigger than my 10 year old hands.
"I don't want to be flash banged, so I'll leave the stone in the table." I tell Doublade. This cramped room doesn't have enough space for me to be able to distance myself.
-Okay master!- Doublade cheerfully says in our link as he swings side to side. Getting up to the table Doublade touched the dusk stone quickly surrounding itself with a bright glow.
"Let's go." I say in a whisper seeing a bright light in the corner of my vision. I've finally gotten Doublade to evolve after all these years.
I could of asked my parents to buy a dusk stone but I never really got to it as I was too lazy and never saw an opportunity to.
The bright light starting to dim in a similar fashion to Slowbro's evolution, it retracts back into the newly evolved Aegislash.
Turning around with a giddy look on my face, I stare at my first Pokemon. A bulky and intimidating Pokemon with the height of 1.85m (6"0) stares down at me while shaking itself side to side in glee.
-Master! Master! I'm taller than you now, and I got a cool shield!- He says in the link with unbridled joy.
Laughing at his childish excitement I informed the both of them to get ready as we would be going to the stadium to watch a few battles.
-Observe the fight and see what they do right and wrong. Should they of dodged? Why didn't the Pokemon attack?-
I told them as Aegislash went back into my shadow and Slowbro started to follow me.
-Master I'm a bit slow, wait a bit!- Slowbro hurriedly said as I started to make my way out of the room.

A/N: Slowbro is a little smaller than the average Slowbro because he's still young. Aegislash is bigger than the average Aegislash because it's cooler, better and makes him intimidating xD. Imagine a fucking 6"0 ghost sword with a shield in front of you]
