15 Shadow again

Over the few days' time, Dragonair has gotten closer to other Pokemon and stronger as well.

Being the evolution line of one of the strongest Pokemon, Dragonair innate strength is stronger than any of his other Pokemon except for Zapdos.

And after evolving into Dragonite, the increase in strength will be even great.

Gengar has become the most miserable from his team, with the increase in Dragonair strength; she started to teach Gengar basic disciplines.

Not being able to play pranks and scare other; Gengar was having a hard time adjusting to the new life of good boy.

Currently on his way to Cinnabar Island, he was enjoying the cruise with his Pokemons.

Then his belt started ringing again, this time he had made them remove the tracker and automatic call receiver.

He answered the call.

"Vidal where are you?"

"On the way to Cinnabar Island,"

"Like you have said, we sent some people to observe the area around Indigo Plateau. And they have noticed the flying ship of shadow last night. We need your help right now."

"Ok. Send someone to pick me up in the Cinnabar Island."

"We don't have that much time."

Then suddenly on the deck of the cruise, a person landed with a Charizard.

"I am looking for a person named Vidal." It immediately caused a lot of noise and commotion in the cruise.

They haven't removed the tracker.

"I am here."

Vidal went towards the person.

"Hello. I am Lorelei. Mr. Goodshow sent me to pick you up." A woman with glasses came forward.

"You, you are one of the elite four if I am not wrong."

"Yes. Let's not delay anymore."

Both of them took off in the Charizard.

'There are already trainers like elite four and even champions. Why are they calling me? I need to ask Professor Oak.' Vida sighed.

"So, this Mr. Goodshow, who is he actually?" Vidal wanted to confirm something.

"He is the President of the League Competition Committee."

"Why is he calling me then?"

"That, I don't know. I was given Charizard and asked to transport you to Indigo Plateau."

Yup, they haven't told her anything. But they showed the video to people other than researchers, 'Looks like I need to talk to Professor Oak personally.'

They landed on the indigo plateau stadium; he was taken to the office of the stadium.

When they entered the office, a short person with long white beard and mustache, who looked like a Santa Claus without costume, was sitting with another person in white lab coat.

"Looks like he is here, I will give you guys some space." Santa Claus look alike looked at Vidal and said.

"I am Charles Goodshow. You look like a promising young man." Santa Claus look alike commented on his way out.

"Professor Oak said you will handle the rest of the thing from now on," the person in lab coat said, "And I am new researcher doing intern with Professor Oak. You can call me Jax."

Vidal took a sigh of relief, 'It seems they haven't leaked my video to other yet.'

"Jax, at first tell every scout who were keeping their eyes on the area to return back. Not a single one should be left behind."

"That. Don't you think they will be help in fighting team shadow?" Jax asked.

Vidal shook his head, "If you think they could help, do you think Professor would have called me." I would rather asked help from Elite four, then other I don't even know of.

Jax finally nodded and made some calls.

After half an hour later, "Everyone has been called back."

"Now leave everything to me. You can return. I will directly inform Professor Oak after I am done."

"Can you tell me, what exactly is the job?"

"You should ask Professor Oak," Vidal smiled and left the room.

"Alakazam, come out." Vidal pointed to the north of the Indigo plateau and floated with Alakazam.

"That is quite a unique way to travel," Lorelei said.

Santa Claus look alike nodded.

When Jax came out of the room, Santa Claus look alike asked a bunch of question.

"Who is that guy?"

"I don't know."

"What is doing here?"

"I don't know."

"What is his relation with Professor Oak?"

"I don't know."

Jax replied with a sigh, he didn't know anything except for a team called shadow who are bad and not to tell anyone about them.

Goodshow and Lorelei glanced at each other.

Goodshow wouldn't have shown interest if he hadn't received call from three researchers from three different regions just to transport that guy to this place.

"Mr. Goodshow and Lorelei thank you for the help."

After jax left, Goodshow sent Lorelei away too.

And taking Charizard out, he headed towards the north as well.

On the far northern side of the Plateau,

Vidal was standing on the rim of the Dormant Volcano.

Exactly above the Volcano hole, the same shadow ship was floating.

After checking with Gengar, the ship was found empty.

On the bottom of the Volcano there is still lave but not enough to erupt, a perfect place for Moltres to rest.

But the situation below was little different from before.

On the outer bottom of the Volcano there is a Vehicle with a big R printed on it.

And inside the Volcano team Rocket and team shadow are going on a full on battle.

He was just enjoying the show from the above, though the visibility wasn't good; he didn't want to be an extra bone in the fight between two dogs.

He was just waiting.

Flap… Flap…

Vidal heard sound of flapping coming from somewhere near.

He looked around to find a Charizard and a man standing on top of it.

"Santa Claus," Vidal blurted out loud.

Goodshow nearly fell from Charizard.

"So young man what are you doing here?"

"Oh just sight-seeing, don't mind me."

"Let me also see what so good to see in this dormant Volcano," Goodshow jumped to the rim of the volcano and looked down.

After a minute, "That is indeed quite a sight-seeing."

"I don't think you came here just to see this."

Before Vidal could give any excuse, a loud cry reverted from the bottom of Volcano.

"AAhhhkkk…..AAakhkhkkk."

And a bird like figure covered in flames shot upwards from the inside of Volcano.

Goodshow glanced at Vidal whose eyes were fixed on Moltres with a smile in his face.

It wasn't hard to figure out what Vidal came here for.

"Mr. Goodshow, I hope you will help me fight those people coming up," Vidal looked at Charizard.

"I mostly understand the situation so, I will surely help you,"

"Charizard use flamethrower," Goodshow pointed towards the team rocket and team shadow coming up from inside the Volcano.

A loud sound came from the Volcano countering the flamethrower. Vidal didn't see which Pokemon it was but it was a sound based attack.

Charizard used another flamethrower, but it was countered again.

When the team rocket and team shadow team appeared from the bottom of the volcano using their flying Pokemon and landed on the rim, Vidal has already disappeared from the scene leaving Goodshow alone.

Vidal from very far looked at the booms and blast at the volcano top, and finally a Charizard flew off from the volcano towards the Plateau.

"Let's go back." Moltres has escaped somewhere far away; there was no need for him to stay there.

He cannot return to Plateau for some Santa Claus reason, so he went towards Pewter city.
