15 A Stealing attempt/ Arrival of Gengar

Fate is a mysterious force that can't be verified by science but it exists. Some events are bound to happen like some people are fated to love while some forces are fated to clash.

Though Xyno tried his best to avoid problems but the dark forces always clash with him either it is Astra or his previous Earth. It was a sunny day and 2 pokemon can be seen battling on the side grounds of the Academy.

Sett could be seen fighting a Pikachu.

"Damn! use Thunderbolt again"

"Use Air Cutter"

Sett used the move calmly and the opponent's Pikachu was easily defeated.

"Hey is your Pokemon immune to electricity or something? Why is a Flying-type not affected by electric-type moves" Shouted a young boy probably 15 years of age.

Xyno just smiled without replying.

It has been 8 days since his arrival here and this is already his 47th battle. Whenever he strolls here, someone is available to challenge him. Well, it is understandable because the famous beauty of the academy was seen strolling beside him and smiling.

Yes, it was none other than popular doctor Chisato. On the second day of his arrival, she saw Sett and Tiny training. She was impressed with the skill Xyno grooms them. After that, they talked for an hour.

From that day she approaches him every day for a casual talk but everyone misunderstood it and the news spread like wildfire on the campus.

Anyways, Xyno doesn't mind as it is a good way to train Sett. Sett is already approaching level 18 due to absorbing mana crystal and constant fighting. Even Tiny defeated a level 10 Rattata. Tiny was so happy that he spent the rest of the day basking in the sun as if to reward himself.

As Xyno was going to recall Sett there was a sudden attack from the side and before Sett can react, he was hit by Rock Throw from the side.

"SETT!" Xyno exclaimed as he ran to check his injuries.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

"Excellent, despite being a starter class it still withstood Golem's attack. It truly may be a new legendary."

Clapping sounds could be heard from the side as Xyno saw a masked man covered in black clothes walking towards them.

"What do you want?" Xyno glared at the man.

"Heh, nothing just handover that unique pokemon. Kids such as you should not play with such excellent pokemon."

Although several new pokemon were registered every year but Sett's performance was outstanding. After his first battle at the arena, upper encleons of the city started paying attention to Xyno's every move.

Suspicion of Sett being a legendary invoked greed among some people and they can't keep themselves from taking action.

"And if I refuse?" Xyno asked coldly.

"You don't have that option" replied the man chuckling as 4 more similar people came into view.

Xyno glanced around and saw all of them had elite class pokemon.

Xyno looked around and saw all of them had level 50+ pokemon. He knew Sett had no chance against them so he quickly recalled Sett into Pokeball. His mind was calculating all possible ways to overcome this adversity but he knew he had no chance.

"Hehe we give you last chance to hand over the pokemon or we can take it from your corpse." Said another man with an Empoleon.

Xyno was inwardly shocked that they were not at all worried about the repercussion of killing someone inside the city. That meant they had strong backing here. His challenger boy had already run away even leaving behind his injured Pikachu.

Xyno stood nervously hoping his only chance of survival was not just speculation.

Just as the men were going to take action and immense pressure assaulted them all. The pressure was so great that they all froze along with their pokemon. Almost half of the city felt that pressure.

All the men stared wide eyes nervously as a figure rose from Xyno's shadow. The figure's presence terrorized them as it was at the pinnacle of power according to most trainers.

Xyno also happily stared at Regina's Shadow Gengar. He had speculated that Regina may have sent him to protect him in secret.

The Gengar stared cruelly at the men who were shaking from fear.

Their pokemon were so terrorized that they did not even look up to the floating figure.

"Kekekeke! Don't be so afraid, you were so arrogant just moments ago" Gengar said in a creepy voice.

Many Pokemon at champion class can talk like humans. They have intellect higher than average humans.

Gengar casually created a wave of dark energy and attacked all the Pokemon present. All the pokemon present got severely injured and fainted.

"Keke~now what should I do with you?"

"Yeah, I need some experiment subjects for the nether world~ kekekek!"

Gengar directly sucked all the men and pokemon into the shadows.

Xyno stared wide-eyed as they all vanished.

"It's been a while, Gengar."

"Just a little over a week. Take care of my student. Kekeke~we will start training again from tomorrow."

Gengar replied creepily and vanished into his shadow. His student was obviously Sett. When Gengar saw Sett, he was impressed by something within Sett and directly requested Regina to take him as a student.

Standing alone in the deserted place Xyno sighed.

"Looks like I have a long way to go"

Xyno marveled at the power of Gengar once again. What was more astonishing was the fact that Regina had two pokemon even stronger than him.

Xyno went to find Chisato to heal Sett while feeling a little sad inside.

The event shocked him but it also firmed his determination to become strong.

Inside a large room decorated with various awards and exquisite furniture, a man could be seen sitting on a chair. He could be seen tapping on the desk probably in deep thought.

Suddenly there was a knocking sound from the door.

"Enter." he said in a majestic voice.

A young woman entered through the door.

"Headmaster, we checked the commotion was due to Monty family and Luther family trying to steal a unique pokemon from a young researcher."

"and what was that terrorizing pressure then?"

"Well, that was from Professor Regina's Gengar." Said the woman nervously.

"Regina? is she here?" Asked the man.

"No, but that kid is related to her somehow."

"Those Idiots!! not only did they bit more than they could chew, but they also have the audacity to demand me to return their men. Those would be corpses by now. What would I return!!" Shouted the man angrily.

The young woman was amazed as for the duration of her work here, she had never seen headmaster getting angry. He always stays calm.

"Well spread the news to everyone that I will not be responsible if they anger that madwoman." Ordered the Headmaster looking like in deep thought.

No one knew what he was thinking.
