61 CHAPTER 61 – THE LONELY UMBREON (PART ONE)

In the previous chapter we see how our heroes travel to Paldea with the intention of spending a pleasant vacation and, after a limousine trip, they arrived at a luxurious hotel where they settled in two rooms, just after, they went to the gym where e-Nigma was already waiting for them.

"Ah, I'm sorry I didn't say it before, she's Bianca, but unfortunately she can't speak, that's why she didn't show up" – I said somewhat nervously.

Latias simply waved with a smile.

"Oh, I'm sorry about it... but no need to worry, today will be a totally amazing day, let's start with the first activity of the day!" – said e-Nigma.

"I can't wait" - Nancy said excitedly.

"Well, I'm sure you'll love it because I booked the water park entirely for all of us, our first activity will be a fun day at the water park!" – said e-Nigma.

For those who wonder, I did not describe the weather, but I will only say that it is horrible hot and the truth is that I like the idea of going to a water park and, above all, seeing them all in a swimswit it will be quite an experience.

The girls also seemed to be excited to go to the water park, apparently they also wanted to take a bath, especially due to the great heat it was.

After this, the seven of us (including Pikachu) got back into the limousine and headed straight to the City Water Park.

Indeed e-Nigma did not lie, the Water Park was completely empty, there were only the people in charge of the attractions and security, as well as some nurses in case of emergency.

As soon as I arrived, the girls went to put on their swimsuits just like me, by the way, the swimsuits were provided by e-Nigma.

When we changed I was impressed by the view, all the girls, including Latias, had changed to a bikini, it's a shame that the real Bianca wasn't here, but it's good to know what she will look like in the future, but I'll settle for this for now.

The girls also laughed at this, apparently they were happy for this compliment, seriously, they were stunning, Nancy wore a white bikini, Verity a blue one, Koharu a pink one, Latias a green one and e-Nigma wore a yellow one, they were all beautiful women and they were in front of me, a shame that one of them is a Pokémon.

As for the water park, if you ever went to any, which is very likely, you can imagine the pleasant atmosphere that could be breathed in the air, the park was huge with dozens of striking attractions and that every time you saw them, they made you want to ride all of them.

The park devoid of anyone except us and the park staff, oozed tranquility everywhere and the idea of not having to wait in line or pay for it, increased the desire to have fun, in addition to the sunny and hot day that also increased these desires.

To summarize, it was an amazing day, fun all around, spectacular in every way and we even ate inside the restaurant, I don't know if it was because I was hungry or not, but the burger was delicious.

After a pleasant day, it was almost time to leave and the sun threatened to hide on the horizon, but the girls decided to ride a couple more attractions because there was still just under an hour to close, unfortunately I stayed behind sitting, while next to me was e-Nigma, curiously we were both alone because even Pikachu had decided to ride the attractions before leaving.

"Ddon't you go with them? It's almost time to close, you should ride some attractions" - said e-Nigma.

"No, I'll let the girls enjoy myself, I'm tired, I want to rest for a while, why don't you go with them?" – I asked.

"I'm like you, I'm tired, it was a day of many emotions and I'm not used to so much hustle and bustle, I'm more indoors, I don't know if I explain myself," she answered.

I see, as a streamer and gym leader, he spends almost all day indoors, it must be hard.

"If it's not too much to ask, why did you decide to become a streamer?" – I asked.

"It's not too much to ask, the truth is that when I was little, my mother always told me that I had a special ability to make people smile, so, when I discovered this world, I couldn't help but become a streamer, I like to make people forget their problems, at least while they are watching me" - e-Nigma replied.

I see, in video games the reason was never mentioned and I doubt that, in the future, if it comes out in the anime, it will be mentioned, but this is real life and each person has a past, they are not simple NPCs with a predefined dialogue, each one has its past, present and future, that's why I left behind that mentality of believing that I am in a video game or in an anime, Everyone here is real.

At this moment, e-Nigma seemed to me a normal girl, not a world-famous streamer, but a girl who fought for her dreams and worked on them, her responsibilities with the gym did not prevent her from leaving her job as a streamer and she combined both in the best possible way, she was an amazing woman and seeing her under the dim sunlight with her swimswit made my heart beat strongly for a few seconds.

"It's a good reason, I'm glad you got it" – I smiled.

"Thank you... and you, why did you become a Pokémon trainer?" he asked.

"How do you know I'm a trainer?" – I asked confused.

"I didn't know, but you just confirmed it to me, okay?" – said e-Nigma.

"Well, I wouldn't know what to tell you, I just love Pokémon, the reason I became a Pokémon trainer is because I want to become the best, there's no another reason" - I replied.

"Aren't you interested in the fame that comes with it?" - She asked.

"Fame for me is not important, I do not seek to be famous, nor do I seek money, I only seek to be the best and have fun with my loved ones" – I answered.

E-Nigma seemed to be surprised for a moment, but then smiled.

"It's a good dream, to tell you the truth, it's the first time I've met someone whose goal is not fame being a Pokémon trainer" - She said.

Although Ash did not know it, the truth is that e-Nigma met a lot of trainers and most of them only sought fame and who did not seek it, looked for money or women, therefore, hearing this, e-Nigma could not stop his heart from beating for a moment, but managed to hide it perfectly.

Returning to Ash.

"Well, everyone has their own dreams and motivations, just as you respect mine, I also respect yours and the same with others" - I said.

"I see..." – She said.

"Also, it's not that I'm criticizing you or anything, in fact, the work you do is incredible, I like you a lot and I will continue to see you, your streams always encourage me when I'm somewhat depressed" – I said.

"Thank you, I'm glad you like them!" – she said a little blushing.

I guess it was embarrassing that he suddenly said something like that, but it's totally true, e-Nigma fulfills an essential function in society, it helps people forget about their problems while they're streaming and brings a smile to their face, that's what's important.

"Yes, I love them, I just hope you keep doing it for many years" - I nodded.

After that, we continued talking for a while until it was finally time to leave, after getting dressed and stuff, e-Nigma invited us all to one of the best restaurants in the city and it was not exactly very expensive, sometimes, the food does not have to be expensive to be good.

After a wonderful dinner, it was time to leave for the hotel.

"How about today, did you enjoy it?" - asked e-Nigma.

"It's been amazing, I really love the water park" - Nancy agreed.

"And without any queue is even better" - Verity agreed.

"I'm agree" - Koharu added.

"I'm glad you liked it, but that's not all, get ready for tomorrow and if everything goes well, the last will be the grand finale, rest tonight" – said e-Nigma.

After that we got out of the limousine and went directly to our rooms, I had to share a room with Koharu and Latias, while Nancy and Verity played them in the other.

As soon as we arrived at the room, we put on our pajamas, watched TV for a while and then fell asleep instantly, Latias decided to sleep in his Pokéball and Pikachu as he was always by my side, it was already customary.

I didn't want to describe the room in detail, but what I could observe before falling completely asleep was that this hotel oozed luxury everywhere, a pleasant feeling that, unfortunately, would not last long.

We got up and went to breakfast at the hotel cafeteria, but while we were having breakfast, our phone rang.

"Who will it be?" - asked Koharu as he ate a piece of toast.

"Let's see... here it says e-Nigma (the best streamer)" – I said.

"When did She add your number?" - asked Nancy, raising an eyebrow.

"Yesterday while you were having fun, I was alone with her and we talked about things and she even gave me her number" - I replied.

"Funny that a world-famous streamer would give her number phone to a fan, don't you think?" – Nancy said raising an eyebrow.

"Ahem, I'll pick up the phone if you don't mind" – I said nervously.

Then I picked up the phone.

"I'll wait for you in half an hour outside the hotel, don't be long!" - she said.

And then she hung up, I didn't even have time to say hi or something.

"Wow, she's lively, I wonder what she planned for today" - Verity said somewhat nervously.

Since we had half an hour, we had breakfast quietly and then went out to wait for the limousine, but it was already waiting for us.

The hotel had a luxurious café with free buffet, there was a schedule where you could have breakfast, at this time, there were not many people so we could enjoy a nice and delicious breakfast.

"You can go up" - said the driver, opening the door for us.

We all walked in and saw that e-Nigma was already there.

"Good morning, how did you sleep, are you comfortable?" - he asked.

"Good morning and yes, we slept very comfortable really, it had been a long time since I slept all night without waking up" – I nodded.

The others also nodded.

"I'm glad, now, I'll tell you about today's activity, certainly what we will do today is go to the Eevee Ranch, a Pokémon reserve that is located in Medali Town, on the ranch they collect a lot of wild Eevee and raise them, in Paldea the Eevee are very scarce, so, to increase their population, it was decided to set up this ranch "– explained e-Nigma.

"An Eevee-only Ranch? that's fantastic, I think today will be a wonderful day!" – exclaimed Koharu.

Even e-Nigma looked a little surprised.

"Hahaha, She's a big fan of Eevee, She loves them," I said.

"I see, anyway, I also got that if you want you can take an Eevee with you, you can do it" - She added.

"Really?!" - exclaimed Koharu.

Koharu's eyes shone like pearls in anticipation of visiting a ranch where dozens of Eevee, her favorite Pokémon, lived, her smile radiated happiness and she even seemed somewhat nervous about it.

"And there are also evolutions of Eevee by chance?" – asked Koharu excitedly.

"Eevee evolutions are also very rare in this region, so when the Eevee from the ranch evolve, they are sent to other reserves, there are many of these throughout the region and each one contains an evolution of an Eevee" - She explained.

"This region is wonderful!" – exclaimed Koharu.

After this, we continued talking during the trip and discovered that, unfortunately, we would only visit Eevee's Ranch, which depressed Koharu a bit, but I promised to return in the future to see the rest of Ranchos, which encouraged her a bit.

It didn't take long to get to the Ranch and I must say that it is quite impressive it is literally like a zoo, but full of dozens of Eevee which jumped and played with their peers.

"Well, here we are, what do you think?" - asked e-Nigma as he got out of the limousine.

"It's impressive..." – I said.

Koharu was so excited that she could barely hold the urge to go inside.

"I know you want to go inside to play with the Eevee, but first we have to warn of our arrival" - said e-Nigma.

We all nodded and followed her to what seemed to be a small house, although inside it no longer seemed so small, there, as soon as I entered, there were two men, one quite young, perhaps about 30 years old, brown hair and somewhat attractive while the other was rather middle-aged, white hair, I couldn't see his eyes since he was on his back.

"Perfect, you can leave then, I have to attend to some guests who are going to arrive shortly" – said the middle-aged man.

Then the young man left behind the middle-aged, who turned only to be momentarily surprised, but instantly recovered.

"Miss e-Nigma, I was already wondering when I would come, I guess those must be the winners of the contest if I'm not mistaken!" – said the middle-aged man with a smile.
