23 CHAPTER 23 – POKEMON, THE MOVIE (PART FOUR) (Fixed)

I raised my fist, but just as I was about to hit him, Mewtwo used his psychic powers to throw me through the air.

"For heaven's sake it works!" – I shouted as I was sent flying.

But as I was about to crash into the wall, a pink bubble stopped my blow, and, when I looked next to me, it was Mew, who, at last, appeared.

"Mew" - Mew said, looking at me curiously.

Then he made his bubble disappear and I fell to the ground, luckily there was not much height and I did not hurt myself much.

"I see, so it's you, perfect, so you saved me the trouble of going to find you, let's see who is stronger, the clone or the original" – said Mewtwo.

Immediately a blue aura enveloped him and shot out towards Mew, while Mew wrapped himself in a pink aura and lunged towards him, starting to fight.

Both clashed powers.

Meanwhile, all the Pokémon, clone or original began to fight each other, luckily, soon will be the end, I have to endure.

Meanwhile, the rest of the trainers, including the girls, tried to stop their Pokémon.

Not long after something strange happened, it is assumed that, in the original film, Mew and Mewtwo were tied and, only Ash's intervention made everything end, but here something unexpected happened.

After a couple of minutes of fighting, Mew was sent flying and crashed to the ground badly wounded.

"Hmph, pathetic, a weakling" - Mewtwo said as he perched beside him.

What's going on here, how could Mew lose? But then I understood, this Mew was not an adult Mew like the one in the movie, but it seemed to be a young one, its size did not match what I saw in the movie, so maybe that's what happened, the young Mew was not too strong and lost to the great power of Mewtwo, I wonder what happened to the original.

"And now, it's your end, the clone won the original, goodbye Mew" - Mewtwo said.

So, he started loading a Shadow Ball with the intention of killing it, but I can't allow it, if Mew dies, it's over, besides I can't let a Pokémon die in front of me.

Therefore, there was only one solution left, I ran with all my strength towards them and hit the Mew so that he would not give him the Shadow Ball, but in return, he hit me.

They quickly approached him and picked him up, but when they measured his pulse it was late, he didn't have any.

"He is... dead..." – Nancy said without a hint of emotion in her voice.

"NOOOOOOO!" – cried Verity beginning to cry.

"IT CAN'T BE, TELL ME NO, ASH, WAKE UP PLEASE! " – Leaf shouted while crying.

"Please Ash, wake up, you're not dead, right? It's just a joke, please wake up, I beg you" – Nancy said as she began to cry too.

But Ash did not answer, he had died, his heart stopped beating the moment he received Mewtwo's attack.

But not only did they feel sad about this event, all the Pokémon, whether clones or not, saw this scene, and, suddenly, before the astonished look of Mewtwo, they began to cry.

Each and every one of them cried, all of Ash's Pokémon and even those who did not, seeing Ash's noble sacrifice all understood that it was not about their differences, but about their similarities, they were not different just because they were clones.

Mewtwo also understood that he was wrong, seeing this scene, he could see how both clones and non-clones were the same, there was no difference between them, but it was too late, he had killed someone for the sake of proving that clones are better than the originals, when they are clearly the same.

However, at that moment, something strange happened, the tears of all the Pokémon were attracted to the same point, forming a sphere of light as bigger as a football ball, and suddenly a sacred aura invisible to humans, but not to Pokémon came out of that ball of light.

Everyone felt fear, Mewtwo felt something strange but powerful, but he could not understand what it was, while Mew understood it, he knew it, he knew what it was, that aura was well known to him, as one of the few Mew that exist and being the youngest of them all, he was taught by the adults that there was someone to whom respect had to be shown, the creator of the universe, Arceus, a powerful entity that created them and to whom respect had to be shown, but also learned that Arceus never intervened in the world, why did he suddenly decide to help a human? That girl had brown hair, eyes of the same color and was dressed in a white mono piece dress, at first I was surprised by her presence, but then I spoke to her.

"Are you okay?" – I asked in confusion.

"What did he say to you?" – I asked as I wiped away his tears.

She blushed and answered.

I hugged them too and then spoke to Leaf.

"Listen Leaf, I'm sorry for forgetting our promise, but I already remembered it and I'll be delighted that you're my girlfriend, sorry for not remembering my feelings until now" – I apologized.

"Nothing happens, nothing happens, as long as you're okay everything else doesn't matter!" – said Leaf reinforcing his embrace.

"I won't ask why, but welcome to the team" – that said, I pulled a Amor Ball out of my backpack that I honestly thought would fit her.

Then, I brought the Pokéball closer to Mew and he himself touched the Pokéball and captured himself.

"I guess... that I have a Mew" – I said looking at the girls.

"No, it's just that we meet in the Indigo League, I want to fight with you and that you get a surprise, I don't want you to see my fighting style until then, I don't want you to know what my next Pokémon will be, but yes, after the Indigo League, you won't get rid of me," Leaf said with a smile.

As for the other coaches, in the future they will meet again with Ash and his girls, but it is a story for later.
