16 Chapter 16: League Registration and Training
Viridian City Pokemon Center
Alex: I would like you to check the condition of my Pokemons and also can you tell me where to register for the Kanto Region Pokemon League Championship.
Nurse Joy: Sure I can help you do both. Chansey bring these pokemon for checking and start with the procedures I will be with you soon . Now then about the registration you can register in any Pokemon center in the Kanto Region.
Alex: Then I would like to register here. Can you help me with it?
Nurse Joy: Sure ..I would like to have your pokedex please..Thank you. You have 9 months time before the League officially begins so you have to collect 8 gym badges and be at the Indigo Plateau before the start of the competition. This is a badge case provided to all registered candidates.
Nurse Joy helps Alex complete the registration process and also gives him a badge case and goes inside the room to help chansey to check his pokemons.
Alex decides to make some calls while he was waiting for his pokemons. He first calls his parents.
Juan : Hello who is this?
Alex: Hi Dad it's me Alex.
Juan: Alex.... Great how have you been? Ava Alex is on the phone.
Alex: I have been good how about you guys.....
Alex continues to chat with his parents for sometime and ends the call after promising them that he would stay out of trouble. He then calls professor Oak to tell him about his adventure and fight with fearow.
Professor Oak: So you were the one that fought that big angry bird.
Alex: ???
Professor Oak: The sentry troops of Viridian City just informed me that a young man fought against the fearow and I should be careful if it will lead pokemon tide towards pallet town. I would say they are thinking too much that bird only knows how to bully the weak and is very afraid of the strong don't mind it.
The chat with professor Oak continues for sometime as he decides to end the call, nurse joy informs him that his pokemons are all checked and treated to good health.
Alex collects his pokemons says his thanks and goes to the nearby inn to stay for the night.

Next Day Morning
Alex goes to the Alliance Market to sell the low Elite level Fearow that he caught in the forest. The fearow was sold for 45k pokedollars with which he has enough money to buy vitamins for some of his pokemons. The first time usage of vitamins will have great effects on the Pokemon. If correctly used they can increase the attributes of the Pokemon greatly improper usage may lead to inverse effects so most people only use it sparsely.
According to professor Oak normally a Pokemon can take 3 vitamins of the same type before it undergoes evolution and a 4th one can be given just before evolution of the 3 previous once are fully absorbed by the Pokemons and the best way to absorb the vitamins is by doing intense workouts or undergoing very tough battles.
Alex had used every vitamin 4 times for pidgeotto when it was in it's pidgey form. Every time it took vitamin it went through very tough training and intense battles resulting it being the present pidgeotto with nearly unmatched strength among it's species of the same level. Even professor Oak was very much impressed seeing pidgeotto's strength.
Alex was intending to same for the other Pokemons as well so he bought all vitamins for Gastly and 2 extra bottles of iron and zinc for slowpoke and Elekid and 1 bottle of carbos for pidgeotto.
Alex takes his pokemons to the training ground near the Pokemon center and gives vitamin iron to Gastly , slowpoke and Elekid. Pidgeotto continues his speed training after taking the carbos vitamins while Gastly , Elekid teams up against slowpoke and starts an intense battle .
