15 Chapter 15: Viridian City

Alex ran all the way and finally reached the alliance's sentry troops camp of Viridian City.

Every cities power is divided among 3 groups of people

1→Gym leader and his trainers

2→City Mayor/Alliance representative and his officers

3→Alliance Special Defence Force(ASDF) which includes city patrol officials( officer Jenny and subordinates) and City protection team.

The leader of the ASDF is a Commander below him are 4 generals and officer Jenny. The 4 generals protect each direction while officer Jenny and her group protects the people inside the city. The sentry troops are under the control of the generals.

Sentry troops are present in every town and city with only the quality of the troops being different. The strongest sentry troops pokemon in Light town was only a low Elite level Pokemon while that in big cities were at the high Elite level.

This is arrangements are the same for towns too with the only difference being the absence of gym leader. The only place in the entire Kanto region that does not follow this arrangement is Pallet town, with the monstrous Charizard and Dragonite protecting it no pokemon dares to raid the town.

The sentry troop camp in front of Alex is called the Southern Sentry troops, they protect the city from the wild pokemons in the forest south of the city. Here Alex undergoes stringent checking because of the many illegal activities that are taking place in Viridian city.Alex is allowed to enter the City only after the complete verification of his pokedex and ID. Alex didn't forget to report his experience with fearow and the group of spearows to the sentry officers so that they can make necessary preparations if a sudden pokemon tide comes from the south. This data reported by Alex will also be transferred to professor oak as he is the person responsible for protection of pallet town.

Viridian City although densely populated had a beautiful scenery to it.There were high raised building here and there and also small farming areas with pokemon and people working on it. People are fishing in the nearby lake and children are returning to their homes from schools.The Viridian City Trainer School is very famous because many excellent trainers and gym leaders came out of it. The two biggest buildings were the Viridian City Gym and Viridian City Alliance Office.

Alex decides to go to the Pokemon center and have his pokemons checked and also make some calls, he also has to find a place to stay for a few days to tarum his pokemons.
