As for the others, Ace didn't take them into account as they were only used for Gym Battles but Staravia was hanging around Lv50. Though, it should be said, Kabutops seemed to have the best potential of the bunch!

This was a bit amazing, considering Ace had only been training him for 8ish months!

However! It wasn't that impossible! You have to know, most of these Fossil Pokemon stayed at the Museum or hung around the Gym. 

Only Kabutops ran out in the mornings to find him and run with his group. Ace couldn't help but like this guy who wanted to get stronger with a passion.

Another note, Ace was starting to feel strange when Battling with Noivern… He didn't exactly know the reason why either. This was a blind spot in his knowledge. All he knew was that he had a faint feeling that he couldn't explain when he commanded Noivern.

But it's like there was a haze around it…

Ace shook his head and forgot about it, whatever happens will happen! There was no point in obsessing over it.

As he was thinking here, Noivern flew in through the roof!

Roark jumped down as the girl slipped to the ground before getting up and dusting herself off.

Ace looked over and turned back before spitting out his water, looking at the girl in shock!

The Girl was not a femme fatale, immediately ruining her image in Ace's mind as she ran over with starry eyes, "Ace-sama! You're my idol!" Ace looked at her in a daze, no…

He sighed in his heart, looking at the girl, "Who are you?" the girl smiled happily, "Faye!" Ace closed his eyes, holding his chest, "F-Faye… what?" Faye's eyes turned to crescents, "Faye Valentine!"

Everyone looked around hearing the sound of shattering glass…

Ace almost cried…

Then he recovered!

He looked at Faye and Roark, "What are you two doing here?" Roark pushed up his glasses, asking with a wry smile, "What happened to Oreburgh…" Ace rolled his eyes at him, "I paid for everything from my own pocket, okay? Don't worry, the Gym Leader funds are completely intact."

Roark looked helpless, "That's not what I meant…" Ace waved and turned to Faye, "Times change, Roark. This will bring more people to Oreburgh and attract more customers for our Mining businesses. Plus the smog is gone and the people are happier. Just last month we had a big sale of Ores, almost 400 million Pokedollars."

Roark froze and looked at Ace in disbelief, "What?!" Ace nodded as Noivern returned to his head, laying down with a bit of smoke escaping his nose, "All this money goes back into the town, buying food and providing funds to the Adoption Center."

Roark walked over, "Adoption center?" Ace pressed on Faye's head as she flailed, trying to hug him, "All the abandoned Pokemon are cared for there, Trainers can come and adopt them if they want. Or the residents can adopt them. It doesn't matter who." Roark's eyes lit up, "That's a good idea!"

Ace chuckled, "It's a sinkhole for money! But we're making more than we can spend and this little expense isn't serious… Now, why are you here, Ms Valentine?" Faye looked at Ace with starry eyes, "I don't know! I came to meet you and now I don't know what to do with my hands…"

Ace's lips twitched and he turned back to Roark, "And you?" Roark paused and rubbed his hands, "Well… I want to try the Conference!" Ace raised his brows before smiling, "You want to go to the Lily of the Valley Conference?" Roark nodded seriously as Ace tilted his head, "Show me your Pokemon."

A challenger looked over, "Hey Hey! I'm waiting here, Goddess Stealer!" Ace clicked his tongue, "Dipplin!" 

Dipplin jumped out, looking at this guy with a disgusted sneer. The Challenger's mentality exploded and he threw out, "Ha! I came prepared this time! Come on out, Abomasnow!"

Ace took a look and laughed before waving, "1v1?" The challenger smirked, "Whatever you want, just hurry up! I have a confession to make after I beat you!"

Ace was looking at Roark's Pokemon when he heard this. He paused and turned, narrowing his eyes, "Is that so…"

Dipplin looked at the kid in front of him with a sympathetic expression.

You should've told me you were mentally handicapped, I wouldn't have taunted you…

Ace clapped and a new BGM sounded!

The kid suddenly felt panicked.

Ace crossed his arms and sneered as [Before Lights Out- Epic Version (Samuel Kim)] played.
