Cynthia smiled, patting Garchomp, who was pushing Noivern away, "She's really close to leveling up. I want to break that barrier and I came to you." Ace looked at Noivern, who licked Garchomp's cheek, with twitching lips.

He sighed, "Fine." as he walked away, "Come on." Ash followed, "I want to watch!" Brock and Dawn followed quickly.

Paul appeared in the middle of the road, looking at Ace, "I would like to watch as well." Ace smiled at him, "No problem." Paul looked at him, "I also want to ask you a few questions…" Ace rubbed his head, "Come along." as he continued walking.

Paul looked at Cynthia and Garchomp before saying, "Can I challenge you after?" Cynthia was stunned, "Okay." Paul nodded and followed Ace, releasing Ursaluna.

Cynthia was stunned, "What is that?" Ace waved while walking, "Blood Moon Ursaluna." as he looked at Ursaluna next to him, "Not bad. What do you want to know?" Ash asked Brock, "Do you know what that is?" Brock looked at the Oreburgh pamphlet, saying, "Oreburgh has a special area called the Hisui Area… There's been many new forms of Pokemon that were researched there. If it's Ursaluna, it should look like this." as he showed Ash and Dawn.

Ash scratched his head, "Then…" Brock shook his head, "I don't know. But I'm sure Ace knows." Paul asked, "What happened to Ursaluna, first off." Ace explained, "Ursaluna evolves with a Peat Block in a Full Moon. It so happens that the Blood Moon has a special effect, resulting in a form change."

He looked at Cynthia, "You didn't check the recent Ruin?" she waved, "I've been busy." Ace turned back, "Ursaluna obviously, can evolve into a different form in the Blood Moon, like I just said. But it also changed from a Physical Attacker to a Special Attacker. It's also tankier for Physical Attacks compared to normal Ursaluna."

Paul asked a few more questions and Ace answered easily, after getting what he wanted, Paul nodded and stopped talking.

They reached the Training field and Ace said, "1v1?" Cynthia nodded and Ace snapped his fingers, "Time to work!"

Noivern jumped on the field and threw the Shrink device on his tail. Ace caught it and put it away as Cynthia waved, "Come on, Garchomp." Ace looked at Garchomp and said, "Don't cheat this time!"

Cynthia rolled her eyes, "I never did!" Ace scoffed, "What kind of Garchomp knows Surf!?" Cynthia smiled proudly, "Mine!" Ace had black lines on his forehead…

Cynthia added, "Plus, you're the one who opened up a TM Store!" Ace's lips twitched, "Doesn't mean you can learn unreasonable moves, okay?!" Cynthia laughed and waved, "Come on!"

Ace rubbed his nose and said, "Well, I'll show you something better than cheating!" he clenched his fists and puffed his chest, "Noivern!" Noivern mimicked Ace and roared wildly!

An intense wind picked up and swirled around Noivern, covering his body before dissipating, revealing a new Noivern entirely!

Cynthia was stunned, "What is that?!" Ace grinned with Noivern, "Our Bond!" Noivern roared and punched the ground with his new thick arms.

Ace explained, "His Type Changed from Flying to Fighting and his Ability became Tough Claws. You're not the only one training, Cynthia! This is my heart, my soul, my most precious Ace!" Noivern roared out and slapped his tail on the ground, "NOIVERN!"

Cynthia licked her lips, "Show me your new power, Ace!" Ace punched his chest, "Noivern! Dynamic Punch!" Noivern clawed into the ground, lunging out at an incredible speed!

Garchomp was surprised as Cynthia shouted, "Test his power, Dragon Claw!" Noivern punched forward as Garchomp slashed out!

There was a loud bang as the ground caved out in a bowl shape.

They were evenly matched! No. Noivern suppressed Garchomp by a little!

Cynthia was shocked and Ace grinned, "Slam her with your Dragon Tail!" Noivern twisted and slammed out with his thickened tail, Cynthia smiled, "Dragon Tail!" Garchomp slapped her tail out and they collided again!

Ace smiled happily and commanded, "Jump back!" Cynthai said quickly, "Earthquake!" Garchomp stomped on the ground as Noivern jumped back, Cynthia pursed her lips, "Speaking of cheating!"

Ace's lips twitched, "Prediction!" Cynthia rolled her eyes, laughing, "Prediction, Prediction, I thought you weren't going to look into the Future during battle!" Ace looked embarrassed, "Fine! Fine! Flying Press!"

Noivern jumped up and slammed down as Cynthai shouted, "Dodge it with Agility!" Garchomp turned into a shadow, disappearing to the side as Noivern slammed into the ground, Ace shouted "Chase her with Thunderous Kick!"

Noivern galloped on all fours, chasing after Garchomp like lightning! They moved around the field quickly, too fast for Dawn to even see!

Ash barely caught them, "Woah! These Pokemon are so strong!" Brock nodded, "Ace's Noivern seems to be faster on land now." Paul snorted, Dawn scoffed, "What's your problem!?"

Paul explained, "Unlike normal Noivern, since Noivern became a fighting type, of course he's faster! He's using his arms and legs to move around on all fours. The Fighting Type is no joke in terms of speed! Also, did you notice Noivern's wings are still there!"

Brock was shocked, "He's right! Noivern's using his wings to reduce drag from the air, making it easier to move around!" Ash scratched his head, "Like a Flying Type?" Brock nodded as Dawn sighed, "Pokemon are complicated!"

Noivern chased Garchomp and flashed behind her, digging his fists into the ground, stomping out with his legs. Cynthia smiled, "Counter with Dragon Claw!" Garchomp covered her claws in Dragon Energy, twisting through the legs before uppercutting Noivern in the stomach!

Ace shouted, "Revenge!" Noivern turned and threw out a punch instantly, sending Garchomp flying across the field! Cynthia shouted, "Garchomp!" Ace shouted quickly, "Chase her down and Power-Up Punch!" Cynthia snapped, "Impossible! Garchomp, create distance with Dragon Pulse!"

Garchomp blasted out a Dragon Pulse, moving away from Noivern as Cynthia added, "Swords Dance!" Ace called out, "Extreme Speed!" Noivern flickered and appeared in front of Garchomp, "Hammer Arm!"

Garchomp crossed her arms as Cynthia added, "Protect!" Garchomp was slammed into the ground but rolled over as Ace shouted, "Now! Cross Chop!" Noivern dove down and smashed an X into the ground as Garchomp dove into the ground, "Dig!"

Ace laughed, "Earthquake!" Cynthia smiled, "Earth Power!" Before Noivern could react, a pillar of stone struck him in the chin, interrupting his Earthquake. Ace clicked his tongue, "Glide in the air, Noivern."

Noivern flew up and smaller wings opened up on his arms, allowing him to glide for a bit. Cynthia smiled, "You can't glide forever, but it's boring like this. Garchomp, come on out and Scale Shot."

Garchomp jumped out of the ground and swung her arms, shooting scales at Noivern while increasing her speed. Ace narrowed his eyes, "Come down." Noivern landed in front of Ace, looking at Garchomp warily.

Noivern growled, "Noi…" Ace nodded, "I know. She's faster than us now…" Cynthia didn't say anything and Ace looked at her. After a moment, they both said at the same time, "Dragon Claw!"

Garchomp and Noivern exploded off the ground, smashing claws together. Ace commanded quickly, "Drain Punch!" Cynthia snapped her fingers, "Nope! Detect!" Garchomp countered the Drain Punch as Ace grinned, "Point Blank Boomburst!" 

Noivern's ears vibrated before he let out a piercing sound from his mouth! Ace looked at him and his lips twitched, why did he look like Banshee from X-Men…

He shook his head and shouted, "Now, the secret weapon! Ice Punch!" Cynthia was shocked, "What?!" before laughing, "Great! Hold on, Garchomp!"

Noivern punched Garchomp, sending her sliding all the way to Cynthia. Garchomp shook the Ice Crystals off her, looking at Noivern unhappily. Noivern paused and held his tail, "Noi…" Garchomp snorted, "Garchomp."

Ace's lips twitched, "You can flirt later! Stone Edge!" Noivern punched the ground as stones turned up, shooting towards Garchomp as Cynthia smiled, "Dodge it, then show them our progress!"

Ace had a bad feeling as Garchomp dodged into the air, "GarCHOMP!" as she sparkled, Ace was shocked and felt actual suppression?!

Cynthia was ecstatic, "Good job, Garchomp!" Garchomp looked at Noivern, "Gar." Noivern blushed and Ace's lips twitched, "This battle isn't over yet!" Cynthia snapped her fingers, "I'll let you see something we worked hard for 3 years to Master! Spirit Break!"

Ace was dumbfounded, shouting in shock, "SPIRIT BREAK?! YOU ARE FUCKING CHEATING AGAIN, CYNTHIA! AHHHH!" He grabbed his hair in anger, "Close Combat!" Noivern looked at Garchomp, who dove towards him, covered in a very terrifying pink energy. Noivern thought she was particularly beautiful… ahem!

He stood on his hind legs as Garchomp slammed into him, while he punched out quickly.

There was a massive explosion and Ace covered his face, coughing and taking a knee.

Cynthia was stunned, "Ace?!" Ace waved, "That's Bond Evolution. We share the Damage." the smoke cleared and Noivern was back to normal with hearts for eyes while Garchomp laid on top of him with spirals.

Ace let out a breath, "Tied!" he clicked his tongue, "If you didn't cheat, we would've won…" Cynthia held her hips, "What do you mean cheat?! You know, me and Garchomp have been working hard to learn that move!" Ace shouted angrily, "What do you mean?! That's a Fairy Type Move! Grimmsnarl's signature move! How did you even get a Garchomp to learn it?! You're telling me you aren't cheating?!"

Cynthia crossed her arms, "Hmph! Says the guy who made up a new Evolution on the spot!" Ace exploded, "It's not new! I- damn! I'm not arguing with you. I'm the bigger person." Cynthia covered her mouth and laughed as Ace crossed his arms and pouted.

Heh. Where are the Noivern haters now!? WHERE! WHERE ARE YOU?! Also! Hope you liked it, this Cynthia chick is really crazy. Actually got a Garchomp to learn a Fairy type moves, even I, as the author, didn't fucking expect it!

Though, they didn't go all out just yet and Noivern is 5 levels behind. I'm pretty sure they tie here. Noivern Battle Bonded and Garchomp used a x4 move at like +3 so he was instakilled, but the Close Combat took her out after a x4 +2 Ice Punch with Tough Claws.
