Enter- Area Zero!

An hour or so later

Ace landed at the research base and saw Geeta standing around. He walked over and Geeta turned around, "So you decided to go in?" Ace rolled his eyes, rubbing his hands, "You knew I was going to go in already. You don't have to be mysterious here." he walked to the edge and asked, "Anything specific you need me to do?"

Geeta shook her head, "Not really. If you can reclaim the Research Bases and find out what happened to the Professor, it's already a huge help!" Ace looked at the clouds and nodded, "Oh." Geeta nodded and smiled "There's an eleva…tor…" 

Ace ignored her and jumped into the crater. She was stunned and shouted, "Be careful!" she heard Ace's voice, "I will! Thanks!" before she sighed and shook her head, "I hope so…"

Ace burst through the cloud layer and looked at Area Zero as he fell from the sky. He nodded to himself looking at all the Pokemon roaming around. As he continued falling, he scanned the area and said to himself, "We'll work from the bottom up… If this entire area can be scanned, the Pokemon Snap game can have new DLC."

He rubbed his chin while plummeting to the ground, "Hey, that's a good idea. You have to run and take pictures of dangerous Pokemon as a researcher!" he snapped his fingers, "Great!"

He flipped and landed on the ground, shaking the area. Ace stood up and stretched his arms, looking around. He landed on a grassy field that seemed to be the base of the crater, but there was a giant cave entrance that led further into the depths.

Ace wasn't going in there just yet. He looked around, seeing Pokemon all around him. He took pictures and muttered, "So there's both types here… That's good. You don't have to go to a Parallel universe to get Paradox Pokemon…"

He crouched and stretched his legs as a Screamtail jumped at him with its mouth wide open.

Oh look! Free food!

Ace turned and grabbed Scream Tail's tail.

Scream Tail: ?????

Ace slammed it on the ground, shocking the other Pokemon. Ace pulled on the tail and kicked out, shooting the Scream Tail across the plain, deep into a stone wall, showing spiral eyes.

Ace shook his arms, looking at the rest of the Paradox Pokemon, "Unfortunately, Pokemon rights don't apply to feral Pokemon!" as he laughed wildly, rushing over and punching an Iron Thorns in the face.

'BOOM!'

A few minutes later

Ace stood in the middle of the crater with his hands on his hips. He looked around at the knocked out Pokemon and nodded to himself, dusting off his hands as he walked over to them.

He inspected Iron Thorns, Scream Tail, Flutter Mane, and Iron Jugulis. There were no other Paradox Pokemon on this floor at least, he had to backtrack to get to the other ones.

Ace chose the best ones of the bunch and threw Pokeballs at them. The Pokeballs jiggled but the Paradox Pokemon didn't have enough courage to jump out in the end… Ace picked up the Pokeballs and nodded, "Good decision. You're right, I would've beat you again!" The Pokeballs shivered and Ace looked over at the others, throwing more Pokeballs out. He marked the ones he caught first before picking up the rest. The majority of them were going to be sent to Geeta while the others Ace would keep for himself as Gifts.

These were Unique Pokemon! 

After a bit of training, there wouldn't be any danger.

As he put all the Pokeballs away, he sensed something and looked up. His eyes caught a Paradox Pokemon that looked a bit like a Triceratops. Ace grinned and stopped looking at it as he ignored the massive cave, walking into a hidden cave right by it.

He passed by rocks and entered a cove with a waterfall!

Ace took in a deep breath and walked around, seeing some Dugtrio and Diglett. They scurried away as Ace walked by. He passed a stone as a Sneasel jumped out, making a face at him and laughing, "Sneasel! Sne Sne Sne!" Ace chuckled and rubbed its head, before handing some Pokeblocks.

The Sneasel sniffed the food and ate it before running off, waving, "Sneasel!" Ace waved at it before continuing on. He looked over and noticed a group of Umbreon growling at a group of Espeon.

He ignored them and continued walking along, taking pictures of everything.

A few Glimmet passed by and Ace threw out Pokeballs.

After putting those Pokeballs away, Ace continued along before stopping in front of the waterfall.

He looked at the top and his eyes glowed brightly, "Finally!"

At the top of the waterfall, a large Pokemon with large red wings, looked down at him, roaring loudly!

The other Pokemon scurried away in fear but Ace stood there, staring at it. 

Finally, one of the last puzzle pieces!
