Chapter 6 - Meeting Dratini

Today after touring through the city, Itsuki actually found a small black-market. The black market was located in an underground area. Before entering the black Market, Itsuki had put his both Pokémon in the poke balls. Who knows some greedy bastard might come after him to get his Zeraora, as Zeraora was a mythical Pokémon.

Pokémon Black master was about selling Pokémon through illegal methods which were captured or mostly stolen from others. The Black master is found only is few cities like Pewter is one of them.

Itsuki entered the black market mostly because he was curious and wanted take a look.

"Welcome! What type of Pokémon does mister handsome wishes to buy?" The man was about 5 feet tall and had white beard covering his face.

"Actually, I want to look for water or ice type Pokémon. Can you please show me ?" Itsuki also politely spoke.

"Mister you must want to challenge the Pewter city gym leader. I understand, please follow me." Itsuki was surprised by words. 'Looks like I am not the only trainer who came here with the same intention.'

The old man bought Itsuki to an underground prison which was located on the 2nd ground floor which was more like a 10 meters wide tunnel.

"I must warn mister to be prepared for what he is about to witness. If mister reveals anything about the black market to the outside then mister will face the consequences. Mister will be hunted by the biggest criminal organization of Kanto. " Itsuki nodded without showing any sign of fear on his face. The 2nd ground floor was completely dark; each Pokémon was tied with chain and kept within separate prison cell.

On this way, Itsuki saw some normal water type Pokémon. But Itsuki ignored them and continued to move forward. After arriving at the end of the tunnel, Itsuki saw something surprised him very much.

In front of him was a complete dark cell, and the Pokémon within it was tied with chain all around its body. Seeing this Itsuki felt pity and sad. 'Pokémon are same as humans. They too have intelligence, how can you guys capture them for money.' Itsuki knew right now he couldn't do anything to save these Pokémon but maybe sometimes later. Itsuki took a deep breath to suppress his raising anger.

"I like this one." Itsuki already knew which Pokémon it was since he could see every Pokémon stats.

"Mister has talent in picking up Pokémon. But Sir are you sure you can afford this Pokémon?"

"Don't beat around the bush and just name the price." Itsuki said in annoyance.

"100,000 P$ but since it's weakened and malnourished I will down the price to 70,000 P$." Itsuki nodded and gave him the money. Before coming here, Itsuki had bought some cash from the bank.

The old man grinned and counted the money. "Thank you very much." He said after counting.

"I will release the chains now. Mister you use his Pokémon on it." Itsuki nodded and threw his Poke ball at the Dratini. Yes, this was a Dratini, a dragon type Pokémon and in future evolve into a Dragonite. Dratini was already very weak so she couldn't resist and was easily caught by Itsuki.

'With Dratini in my team, I should able to face Brock and give him a tough challenge. But I remember that Brock chooses to travel with Ash in the canon, I wonder if he will do the same.' After catching Dratini, Itsuki was satisfied and quickly wanted to get out of here. Because the more he sees the more his heart aches in pain. Being not able to do anything to save these innocent pokemons really made him sad.

"Dear mister we will wait for you next visit." The old man walked Itsuki out of the black market. Itsuki waved his hand without looking back. Right now his top priority was to get Dratini to Nurse Joy and get his Pokémon healed.

"Nurse joy, please check on my Pokémon." Itsuki ran to the Pokémon center and gave the Pokeball of Dratini to Nurse Joy.

After a while Nurse joy, returned with an angry look. "Is this how you treat your Pokémon? Do you know that your Pokémon would have died if she were starved for few more days?" Nurse joy loud words attracted many people's attention.

"You misunderstood me; I have just found Dratini tied to with chains and was locked in a cage." Even Itsuki was angry at those people for treating Pokémon like trash. Seeing Itsuki's angry look, Nurse Joy believed in Itsuki's words. She also knew that many trainers sometimes would just choose to starve their Pokémon and abandon them in forest.

Nurse joy could only help those helpless pokemon, she nor the Joy clan had the power to save every innocent pokemon.

"Nurse Joy, how is Dratini doing now?" Itsuki did not want anything to happen to his Pokémon. Itsuki couldn't just stop worrying.

"Dratini is out of danger. But I recommend you feed some nutritious poke food." Itsuki seriously nodded.

"Zera, Eevee come out." Zera and Eevee come out of their pokeballs. Eevee directly landed on Itsuki's arms and rubbed her head on his chest. For some reason she liked to rub her head on his chest. Itsuki also did not forget his partner Zera. Itsuki also rubbed her head making her smile.

Seeing the way Itsuki was interacting with his Pokémon, Nurse Joy understood that Itsuki was not the type of trainer who would starve his Pokémon. She smiled in satisfaction and left.

On the right side there was a restaurant. Itsuki can see many girls, boys, couples and Pokémon trainers were enjoying the food. Itsuki also decided to eat here today. But before Itsuki could even sit, someone approached him.

"Hey! Can you please tell me about your Pokémon? I have never seen such Pokémon before?" Itsuki turned around and saw a young boy, wearing Red jacket and black pants. The boy had short black hair and his face was average.

"You are…

"Oh! My apologies, my name is Finn and I am from currently traveling and I am going to participate in the Indigo League."

"My name is Itsuki Kagami. Her name is Zeraora and she Eevee." Itsuki and Finn shook hands. The boy then stood in front of Zera and carefully looked at Zera. "So you are name is Zeraora. Interesting. Itsuki can we have a battle?"

"Sure, let's do it now." Itsuki was very excited but since it was his first official battle. Zera also looked excited to fight someone.

"There is an arena behind the Poke center, why don't we there?' Itsuki nodded.

Finn and Itsuki both stood at one end of the battle ground. Itsuki did not realize this handsomeness has attracted lots of girl's attention. Many people came to watch their fights. Some people were interested in Zeraora and wanted to know more about the ability of Zeroara.

"I choose you! Pikachu" Finn chose to go with electric type since Zera was an electric type as well. HIs Pikachu was his most powerful pokemon in his team.

"Pikachu, before I meet Zera I always wanted to catch one but now I think having Zera is cooler." Itsuki words was only heard by Zera. After hearing Itsuki words, Zera had a urge to beat this Pikachu very much. She wanted to prove that she is more powerful than this little mouse.

"This is going to be exciting." Itsuki didn't know what this feeling was. He felt like his blood was boiling, his heart was beating like drum; his hands were itching to fight. At this moment it did not matter whether he lose or won this fight, what mattered is having an exciting battle. A wild grin appeared on Itsuki's face which really situated with his handsome face, giving him a bad handsome boy look.

"Ah! He is so cool."

"Itsuki please have dinner with me."

"Women have you ever looked at your face."

"Itsuki is only mine."

Hearing the loud voices of the girls, Zeraora became even more angry. Even she didn't knew the reason why she got so angry.

Finn and Itsuki stared at each other "___"

Sigh!

Finn sighed in depression. He was already 13 years old without having any girlfriend. In the pokemon world it is normal for people above the age of 11 to have girlfriend.

'Sometimes it feels like God has purposely made my life unfair.' Finn sighed.

"I will start. Zera use quick attack" Zera speed quickly increased. Finn also decided to go with the same attack.

"Pikachu, use Quick attack as well" Both Pikachu and Zera hit each other but Zera had the upper hand because of his body size and high level so Pikachu was thrown back.
