2 Chapter 2 - Meeting Serena

"Fortunately, I managed to change my introverted personality. My parents played a big role in changing my personality." Itsuki can't help but smile when he remembers how his parents always encouraged him to make new friends. Itsuki knew that his past life was a total failure but in this life, Itsuki planned on living his life without any regrets.

After 5 hours, they finally arrived in their destination. Ash, Gary and some other children were sleeping only Itsuki was awake and lost in his thoughts. Professor Oak looked behind and saw that everyone was sleeping except Itsuki who was reading a book. Professor knew that Itsuki was born as a genius so he wasn't surprised to see Itsuki read.

Itsuki looked up when he felt the car had stopped. Seeing Oak's gaze, Itsuki nodded in understanding. "Hey! Ash! Gary! Wake up. We have arrived." Itsuki's words woke everyone.

"We.. have arrived." Said Ash sleepily while rubbing his left eye.

"Everyone slowly get off the car. Itsuki please make sure that no one is making any trouble." Seeing Itsuki nod, Professor Oak smiled and left.

.....Scene change.

"Wow" Itsuki and all the 6 other children stood in a open field. The open field was surrounded by forest from three sides. There was a stream behind Itsuki, and 10 meters in front of the stream, there was a many tents, 14 to be exact. The stream was 4 meters wide and the water level was not that high and was safe for children.

Itsuki also noticed that other children from other regions haven't arrived here. Itsuki and his group came here first.

"I wonder if other regions Professor's would also came here. The probability of other professors coming to here is less than 5 percent." Itsuki was wondering who was responsible for sending the children of region. Clearly those children's parents are not going came here.

"Everyone came here for a second." Itsuki and others walked towards Professor Oak. Oak first attached a thumb size star shaped object on our shirt, near our heart.

"This is a tracking device that will help me to know everyone's location. So if in case someone is lost, we can trace that person with this device. So no matter what do no remove this star from your chest."

Professor Oak then looked at everyone and said with a smile. "Everyone now is free to roam in the forest but you are warned, do not get too far from here and return to the camp before night."

Seeing Itsuki's gaze, Oak smiled and said. "Don't worry. In this forest, there is no Pokémon that would harm human. And this forest is forbidden for outsiders." Itsuki then felt relieved,

Itsuki knew that some Pokémon wouldn't hesitate to kill human if human enters their territory. A great example of such Pokémon is Beedrill. Every year more than 50,000 people die just from Beedrills attack Not only that, Kanto region is specially had the most Beedrill Pokémon compared to other region. So the death rate is also large in numbers.

Even though Pokémon does not eat humans but they wouldn't hesitate to kill humans if they enter their territory. But Itsuki also learned that Pokémon won't attack you unless you show them hostility. Not all Pokémon cared about their territory.

"Don't worry; I will put your luggage in your tent. But I am saying it again, return before night fall otherwise you guys have to spend the entire night in forest." Many children looked frightened at the thought of spending their night in the forest. But surprisingly Ash didn't look afraid instead he looked very excited.

....Scene change.

Itsuki decided to explore the forest on his own.

"I don't want to carry burden so traveling alone is the best choice." Itsuki does not want to look after children all the time. The reason he came here is because he wanted to experience the life of a trainer when they travel. Itsuki did not come here to become someone's caretaker. Fortunately, both Gary and Ash decided to go alone.

Itsuki was walking in the opposite direction of the stream. "I don't know if I can even meet any Pokémon." Itsuki was walking for more than 10 minutes and did not saw even a single Pokémon.

After walking for another 5 minutes, Itsuki heard a noise coming from the bush. Itsuki curiously stepped forward and was surprised to find a Vulpix.

"I have never seen a Vulpix before." Itsuki felt so excited. If he had poke ball then he would have tried to catch Vulpix.

"Vulpix...!" The Vulpix looked at Itsuki then run away,

"Hey wait" How can Itsuki let go of Vulpix when he just met Vulpix few seconds ago. Itsuki ran after Vulpix, not caring about the bush. Itsuki was determined to study this Vulpix. Itsuki had a feeling that he followed this Vulpix then he would definitely meet other Pokemon.

"Vulpix, wait." Itsuki run after Vulpix at his full speed.

__________Scene change.

"Is anyone there here?" A honey hair girl shouted. She was afraid, her legs were shaking and she was lost in the forest.

"I shouldn't have come here." The girl said while trying to stand up. She stood up and walked about to walk away.

"Who is there?" She said but in fear she tried to run away but she fell down and hurt her knee. "It hurts." She had no time to look at her knee. She looked at the bushes in front. Tears formed in her eyes and began to fall down.

She covered her head with her hands when she saw a black figure jump from the bushes.

"Vulpix, wait." Itsuki chased after Vulpix for a more than 5 minutes. Itsuki came out of the Bushes and saw a familiar girl holding her head with her hands. The girl looked very scared.

"What!" Itsuki did not know how he came here.

The girl when she heard a voice raised her head and looked at the cute boy in front of her. When she saw Itsuki something inside her made her temporarily forget about the pain on her knee.

"Hey! Are you alright?" Itsuki asked in concern when he saw her knee hurt. Itsuki couldn't help but look at the honey haired girl for a second longer. Itsuki felt like he could keep looking at her forever.

"No, I hurt my knee just now." The girl had tears in her eyes. Itsuki looked at the wound and saw that her knee was bleeding, Fortunately the wound wasn't that deep. Itsuki took out his handkerchief which he usually carries around; Itsuki carefully wrapped the handkerchief around her knee and tied both ends together.

"This should stop the bleeding." Itsuki said in relief.

"But it still hurts." The girl said. Itsuki would have said something if she wasn't a girl. For some reason Itsuki can't stop himself from being childish in front her. It's like he can't stop himself from being gentle with her.

"Ok, let's do a magic. Feel better feel better right away." Itsuki tried to cheer her up.

"No, it still hurts." The girl said.

Itsuki extended his hand towards the girl. The girl took Itsuki's hand while looking at Itsuki

"Come on, Let's go back so that Professor can bandage your wound.". Itsuki said while pulling her. Maybe he just pulled her using too much strength which caused the girl to directly to stand and hit Itsuki's chest.

"huh!"

Itsuki put his other hand on her shoulder to stabilize her body. The girl also unconsciously put her right on his chest and her left hand on his shoulder.

" Thump! Thump!"

For some reason everything Itsuki was blushing and his heart was pounding very fast. Itsuki felt that his action were clumsy and he made mistakes which he normally wouldn't make.

Itsuki and the girl both almost, 99 percent hugged each other. Itsuki smelled a nice warm fragrant coming from the Girl's body.

" Thump! Thump!"

The girl nose felt Itsuki's manly scent which made her heartbeat increase to maximum. She felt her blood was moving too fast. She felt very comfortable in his arms.

"Sorry, didn't mean to do it." Itsuki quickly changed the subject by holding her right palm with his left palm.

"Come on. Let us head back." Itsuki said with a smile. The girl kept looking at Itsuki in daze and nodded her head. At the moment, she felt very secure with this boy.

While holding her hand, Itsuki felt like he could jump like a wild monkey because of excitement. Itsuki felt like he had accomplished something big by holding her hand. Itsuki felt he could hold her soft, warm palm forever. At the moment even Itsuki did not realize that his IQ was going down even faster than the sinking Titanic.

After returning to the camp, Itsuki took care of Serena all the times. Itsuki also introduced Serena to Ash and Gary. Even dumb Ash can sees that Itsuki treats Serena very special for a friend something out Itsuki did not realize or did not care about.

Itsuki and Serena spent most of their times chasing after Pokémons. Itsuki also told Serena many stories from his world and kept her entertained.

After spending few days with Serena it was finally time for everyone to go back. But sadly Serena went back when Itsuki was sleeping so she couldn't say goodbye to him but before leaving Serena left a letter for Itsuki.

From that letter Itsuki got to know where Serena lives and promised himself.

"One day, I will visit Kalos region and meet you again."

Many small events like those happened in my life until I turned 10. But mainly Itsuki kept Gary and Ash together with him. Even though Gary called Ash a loser, Gary still took care of Ash like a friend and never allowed anyone to bully him. The three formed great bond of friendship which will never be broken. Ash, Gary and Itsuki always competed and compared them. All three of them wanted to beat the other in Pokémon battle.
