"So here is the list of all the Fairy types from the Kanto region. Mr. Mime and Mime Jr. are Fairy Psychic dual types. The Jigglypuff line are Normal Fairy dual types. Cleffa, Clefairy and Clefable are pure Fairy types. Sylveon could also be considered a native Kanto Pokemon I guess. Other than that, no other Pokemon native to Kanto is seen to have the Fairy typing. We do not have Pokemon of the Chansey line to experiment on, but there are numerous videos available of Chansey suffering from Dragon type attacks and being restrained by Fighting type attacks. This should not be possible if it were a Fairy type Pokemon, since Fairy type Pokemon are immune to Dragon type moves and resist Fighting type attacks. Hence, I would think that Chansey is most likely a normal type, though this still requires experimentation to be sure" concluded Alex.

" Excellent work Alex. Please send one Pokemon of each stage to our research area. Release missions on Correlation for any that are not available in the ranch" said Professor Oak.

"Already done Professor. All of the Pokemon I mentioned have been sent over to your research area this morning. I released a mission on Correlation for them as soon as I confirmed they could be Fairy types" said Alex.

"Well done. So did you get started on the Johto region's Pokemon?" asked Professor Sycamore

"Yes Professor. I found Snubull and Garnbull, which appears to be pure Fairy Type. There is Azurill, Marill, and Azumarill, which are dual Fairy and Water types. Also Togepi seems to be a pure Fairy type, but their evolutions could be dual Fairy and Flying type" said Alex.

"And you have released missions for their capture in Correlation?" asked Professor Oak.

"Yes sir. A person has confirmed that he would send a Snubull and a Granbull by this evening. Another one said he would send Marill, Azurill, and Azumarill within three days. Missions for Togepi and their evolutions have no been taken yet. They are too rare in the wild, and if a trainer finds one with luck, they would rather train it for themselves" said Alex.

"That's a very good job you have done. I know a person with all three Pokemon of the Togepi line, so I will ask him to lend us his Pokemon for this project. Tell us when the other 5 Pokemon you mentioned arrive" said Professor Oak.

All three of them were sitting at the dining table in the finding room. This was the only place Alex could find them both together and free to listen, so he started reporting his progress to them here. Both the Professors would have lunch in less than 20 minutes and rush back to their research afterwards.

"I will get started on the Hoenn region's Pokemon Professor. Do let me know if you need anything else" said Alex.

Alex then went to the computer room to search the internet for Pokemon with 'Dragon Immunity.' Though he remembered all the Fairy types found in Hoenn, he decided to search all he could on the internet, both because he didn't want the Professors to wonder why he could identify them so quickly, and to give time to the Professors to finish the study of Pokemon that were already available.

"Mawile, Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir. I guess Mega Altaria too, but Mega Pokemon are excluded for now" thought Alex as he was manually browsing the rumours and information about the Pokemon with 'Dragon Immunity.'

He also wondered about the next regions as he was doing this. Sinnoh region did not seem to possess any Fairy Pokemon native to it, while Unova had Cottenee and Whimsicott, two Grass and Fairy types. Mega Audino was also there, but again, since it was only a matter for after Mega Evolution was discovered.

"So Azumarill's exceptional resistance to Fire type moves is due to its Water typing and Thick Fat ability. It has nothing to do with its Fairy typing" said Professor Sycamore.

After Alex finished listing all the Pokemon with Fairy type and issued missions to have them delivered to the Oak Corall, he found himself free, and this joined Professor Sycamore and Professor Oak in the large number of experiments they did every day.

"Mawile has exactly the same typing as Klefki, which we have already done. But just in case, will you run the tests on it Alex?" asked Professor Sycamore.

"Yes Professor. I will do that" said Alex, as he picked up Mawile's Pokeball.

"Excellent. That means, we have only Cottenee and Whimsicott left. I and Samuel can run the tests on one each. We should be all done by today evening. If we find no exceptions to the model we have already constructed, " said Professor Sycamore. "Project Fairy, which we have worked on for 5 months will be officially completed!" he said.
