478 Waking up
Togepi was surprised. This was the first time it had been rejected except from its father. Then it started to think. It had followed Axel. Axel had not chosen it. So, why should Axel prove himself?
That was a logical question. Togepi was the leader of its group when there were many kids of its age. Most of these kids had found their trainer and went on their journey. It was already late. So, it wanted to grow strong as fast as it could.
It was only 4 months old. It didn't know what it wanted in life. However, it did know that it wanted to be strong and explore many unknowns. This Axel kid seemed like a good trainer. Shedinja could battle its father for 5 minutes. That was huge. It could not even fight its father for 2 seconds.
So, this kid must be a good trainer. It decided to follow this kid and if it was dissatisfied then it would leave this kid and travel alone.
"Chuki.. Chukkki. Turriii", it said agreeing to follow Axel.
Axel took out a master ball and caught it.
"My first Pokemon for the Johto region. We are really moving ahead my friend.", said Axel to Shedinja.
"Don't worry, you will concur this world and I will protect you.", said Shedinja

After 3 days,
Axel was now in the Kanto League city. Gerad had said that it would take some time to get the egg. He contacted Gerad and he was told to wait for 3 days.
Togepi had met all of the Pokemons of Axel and it was surprised that it was the weakest of them all. This made it even more motivated to train. It went to Axel and told him to train it as fast as he could.
It wanted to surpass them all. It was busy and didn't have time to rest.
"Togepi, I already told you that we are going to another region. I will only start to train you after we reach there. Why don't you get familiar with all my Pokemons first.", said Axel rejecting Togepi which it didn't like.
So, it decided to take matters into its own hands and started to train itself. It knew some moves and it started to train on these moves. It wanted to try something different on every move and make them better.

Pokemon POV start
"You are doing it wrong.", came a voice as Togepi was training itself.
"What do you mean?", asked Togepi as it looked towards a big Pokemon that looked like a dragon. It was obviously Charizard.
"You are doing 2 things wrong.", said Charizard.
"2 things? 2? Ok, tell me. I have time to listen to you.", said Togepi with an arrogant voice.
Normally, baby Pokemons or Pokemon who had recently been born would be terrified by seeing a Pokemon like Charizard. But this Togepi was different. It felt that it was the king of this world and it should not be scared of anyone.
Charizard looked at this small Pokemon talking to it in an arrogant voice. It was not angry. It could literally blow Togepi by blowing its nose but it didn't do it. It knew that Togepi was part of the family now.
"The first thing that you did wrong was to modify every move every time. You don't even know the basics kid, how can you modify it to your advantage? So, first, try to train the moves as they are and get more comfortable. When you feel that you are comfortable using it and the move is more powerful, effective, and faster than before, then you can decide to modify it. But Father will tell you what to do and when to modify it. You don't need to worry about it.", said Charizard.
"Oh really? How would Axel know the perfect time to modify the move?", asked Togepi.
"Because he is a very good trainer and he also has a cheat code."
"A cheat code?"
"Yes, a cheat code. Do you know how old I am?", asked Charizard.
"Maybe a 100 years old.", said Togepi
"Haha, no, and if I was a female Charizard, you would have been toast boy. I am 2 and a half years old."
"WHAT???? But how can you be so powerful when you are only 2 and a half years old?"
"Because Father is a good trainer and he has a cheat code. He calls it 'The System'. This system would increase our progress rate and make us more powerful very fast."
Togepi was in a deep thought. It turned out that it had struck a gold mine. It praised itself cause it was the one who chose Axel, not the other way around.
"What is my second mistake?"
"If Father told you that you need to rest now and can train later, then you need to follow it. Father trains us very hard and it is very taxing. So, you might not have time to rest like now.
You should enjoy it while you can.
I am not saying that you cannot train yourself. Training is what makes us stronger. Boss trains at night too and that is why he is the boss. What I am trying to say is that you should trust Father more."
Charizard had made the same mistake before. When it evolved into Charmeleon, it thought that it was the king of this world and it should not follow Axel but it was very wrong. It learned its mistake the hard way and it didn't want Togepi to go through it too.
Togepi slightly recognized Axel as a good trainer. It did train for 2 hours but after 2 hours it was very tired. So, it thought to rest. It went to Axel's room and sat on the sofa. It was very hard for it to climb to the sofa but it didn't give up and finally, it succeeded.
It was looking at a big bird Pokemon who was sleeping on the bed. Axel had told that the bird Pokemon named Flappy was sick and it would wake up anytime now.
As it was just in its thoughts, the wings of Flappy started to move slightly.

Axel was trying to search for a recipe for Togepi. He was also researching about Togepi. He knew about it but he needed more details to train it. That was why it told it to wait for some time.

There were a lot of notifications and Axel was too busy to look at all of them. He directly started to run to his room to meet Pidgeot. He wanted to see if it was okay.

Pidgeot opened its eyes and started to look around. It found that it was in a well-lit room. It tried to move its wings but they were very heavy. It was in a coma for more than a month. So, all of its body was aching while it tried to move it.
It slowly started to move its body and it got a bit comfortable.
"Are you okay?", came a sweet male voice, and it was startled. It looked towards it right and found out that there was a cute and small Pokemon.
"Who are you?", asked Pidgeot.
"I am the new Pokemon in Axel's team."
Pidgeot felt a bit relaxed after it heard Axel's name. That meant that it was in a secure place.
It then started to look around its room and then it finally looked at its body and it was horrified.
It was very dirty. There was dust in its feathers. DUST!!! And its whole body was very sticky. It wanted to faint again so that it didn't have to see such a hideous body.
Pidgeot prided itself on having the most clean and beautiful feathers but now all of these were dirty and some of them had also come out. It was in its worst nightmare.
"Hey, calm down. You can get clean after you take a bath.", said Togepi.
It finally calmed down. It cannot be in such a state when it was talking to a baby Pokemon like Togepi.
"So, what is your name?", said Pidgeot.
"I am Togepi."
"No, that is your species name. What is your name? Like I am a Pidgeot and my name is Flappy."
"I don't have one."
Pidgeot immediately felt pity for the cute Togepi. It didn't even have a name for itself.
"Poor child. Don't worry, you will have a name for yourself in the future."
"Are names that good?"
"Yes, they are. I was named by Axel, our trainer."
"So, I will also ask Axel to name me.", said Togepi.
"No, you cannot. You need to earn respect from Axel and be a bit powerful like me to get a name. You cannot get a name like that.", said Pidgeot teasing Togepi but Togepi didn't realize that it was being teased. It thought that Pidgeot was serious.
It again thought to give its all in the training.
Pidgeot was the youngest Pokemon in Axel's team and every Pokemon pampered her but now it was Togepi. It was not liking it one bit but it knew that this was not Togepi's fault. But it wanted to tease Togepi a little.

"Flappy, how are you right now?", asked Axel

Pidgeot greeted him. It seemed like Pidgeot was okay. It had been sleeping for more than a month so its body was a bit stiff but that was all. Axel finally calmed down after seeing that his Pokemon was okay.
He then proceeded to look at the notification.
The first thing he noticed was that it had 100% mastery in its ability 'Keen eyes'. That was massive. It was just an elemental rank Pokemon. Pidgeot must have faced a lot of hardship to improve so much.
Then he found out that it had learned a new passive move 'Angel wings'. Axel wanted to see its description but first, he wanted to see its status page.
