The End of Battle

Axel didn't tell Slowpoke to deactivate all the status moves from the goodness of his heart. It was all due to the move 'Stored power'.

Stored power (Slowpoke) (Level 40): It can hold more power inside it while using the stored power. 

 (Level 45): It can separately store the power inside it and can use it collectively for devastating effects.

 (Level 50): When the status move is forcefully deactivated, stored power could store 50% of the remaining power of the status move and store it. Before it could only store 10% of the power and that power would be deducted from the effect of the status move. After receiving 50% of the power, it would have used this move within 2 minutes.

Level 50 of 'Stored power' really increased Slowpoke's power. Normally, the power of this move was not so huge, and it could only release 10% of the improvement in Slowpoke's status. But if the status move is forcefully deactivated, stored power could store 50% of the remaining power of the status move and store it.

That was a huge difference in power. After using these status moves for quite some time, the remaining power of the status moves was not so high, so the move 'Stored power' also didn't release huge energy.

'Stored power' was a psychic type move, a gust of psychic energy game, and hit Gyarados again and it fell again in the river. Even though it was not as powerful as 'Hadauken' or 'Future sight' by any means, it was still a powerful move. 

Gyarados finally fell into the river. Axel waited for some time to see if it would stand up again, give a roar and be ready to fight again but it didn't. The Pokemon had finally been defeated and it had fainted from all the fight.

"Come out, Venusaur!!!", shouted Axel.

"Slowpoke bring Gyarados near Venusaur and Venusaur, heal it.", said Axel.

Even though it was the enemy, this Gyarados had earned his respect, so he wanted to heal it out of respect. The champion rank Gyarados was ready to strike Axel and the team after seeing that Slowpoke was bringing Gyarados to Venusaur, but when it saw that Venusaur was healing it, it stopped.

Then Axel heard another notification which increased his happiness twofold.

Flashback 6 minutes ago,

Cloyster was having the time of its life fighting 5 uncommon-rank Pokemons. It was not having a good day. It must be known that Axel had not used the power of its talent 'Overgrowth' to Cloyster. Since Slowpoke had to be tier 2 of king rank and Cloyster had to be in rare rank to combine, he didn't use his talent to Cloyster.

He didn't want it to rank up faster. Ranking up to rare rank would take a lot less time than ranking up to tier 2.

It mainly had ice-type moves and water-type moves. Since it was fighting with water-type Pokemon, it decided to use ice-type moves. It would use moves like 'Ice beam', 'Icy wind', and 'Frost breath' but it was accumulating many injuries as it had to fight 5 uncommon rank Gyarados. 

It was very mature as it was 20 years old but these were Gyarados. The sea incarnate. It could have fought and won against 1 Gyarados but 2 was its limit and now it was fighting with 5 of them.

Axel had told it to hold on and play defensive but that was also not going well. It was fighting Gyarados in water. It was also a water-type Pokemon and could use water to its advantage but Gyarados was even better in fighting in water.

As it was losing, Axel's Gyarados was finally able to defeat 2 pseudo-king rank Gyarados and then it concentrated on elemental rank Pokemons. This reduces the pressure of Lance's red Gyarados. Red Gyarados was swiftly able to deal with pseudo-king rank Gyarados and then it moved to help Cloyster.

This reduced the pressure on Cloyster by a huge margin. It was now only fighting with 1 uncommon rank Gyarados but since it had accumulated many injuries, it was struggling a lot suddenly,

Cloyster is ranking up.

"Damn, this might be the luckiest day for Axel. First Gyarados, then Slowpoke, and now Cloyster. I am very jealous.", said Lance.

A Pokemon ranking up to a rare rank was not a huge thing for Lance as he had pseudo-king rank and king rank Pokemon now but it was still progress for Axel and Lance knew that Axel had so many Pokemons.

Lance knew how hard it was to simultaneously train so many Pokemons. He also had many Pokemons now. 

The rank-up process took around 5 minutes and finally, it was a rare rank Pokemon now.

"CLO… CLOYSTER!!!"

It gave a loud roar celebrating its achievement. Axel went near it and patted its head telling that it had done a good job.

Slowpoke also received congratulations from all the Pokemons of the team. It was a huge achievement to reach tier 2 of king-rank Pokemon and Slowpoke had finally done it.

It was also happy to reach tier 2 king rank status after such a long time. It had only been in Axel's party for some months but it was a king-rank Pokemon way before that.

The battle had already been finished. Cody's Swampert was also able to defeat Gyarados and all the opposing Gyarados had been defeated.

Axel didn't have the time to look at the stats of genius Gyarados when all these things were going on. So, he finally looked at its status:

Axel was surprised to see its status. It was really a supreme genius as he had predicted. First of all, it had black potential. Now it was common for Axel to see brown and black potential Pokemon on this island. He believed that it must have been due to aeus energy.

It knew a variety of moves and Axel was relieved that it was not a trainer's Pokemon because if it was, Axel would surely lose the battle. It didn't have a good battle strategy. This could be understood as it was a wild Pokemon.

The next thing that surprised Axel was its new suspected move 'Space rapture'.

He concentrated and looked at the move description of it.

Space rapture: An overpowered move that would literally rapture the space near the opponent. This would make the opponent impossible to move for 2 seconds. Only the Pokemon who have a higher rank and had a space-type move that could break this move could counter it.

This move consumes a huge amount of stamina.

"The fuck is going on here?", shouted Axel in a loud voice. Lance and others were looking at Axel as if he was crazy. Slowpoke had already ranked up and so did Cloyster long ago. So why was he having a delayed reaction? That was what others were thinking.

Axel didn't care what they were thinking. He was in a major crisis right now. First of all, he could not believe that there was a space element in this world. He knew that Palkia was called a god of space, so he naturally thought that a Pokemon had to be a dragon-type Pokemon with the highest degree of space knowledge to even learn a space-related move.

Because Palkia was a dragon/water type Pokemon and he could not imagine a water type Pokemon having powers related to space. But this Gyarados had a space-related move. It could literally rapture the space around its opponent. This would make the opponent impossible to move for 2 seconds. Only the Pokemon who have a higher rank and had a space-type move that could break this move could counter it. 

That meant that nobody, not even a god-ranked Pokemon could get out of it if they didn't know any thing about space. This might be the most overpowered move that he had ever seen.

Even the system said that this was an overpowered move. Any move related to space could be called an overpowered move cause that move would literally bend space to their will.

But this Gyarados had this move. How could that even be possible?

He then saw another passive move, apart from 'Aeus energy' and that was 'Tenacity' and it was in stage I

Tenacity

Stage I : When Gyarados get into a fight and enters into a life and death situation, this passive move would activate. If the user survives, its defense and attack stats would be permanently boosted along with its stamina and infinity energy inside it.

It could do this for 10 times and then the move would enter its second stage.

Till now used- 2 times.

 'Damn, that is a good move!!' 

This was one of the best passive moves he had ever seen in his life. The most powerful passive move was of Beedrill but 'Tenacity' might give it a run for its money. 

When it would be boosted by 10 times, he wondered, how powerful this Gyarados would really be.

He didn't even want to imagine but he wanted his Gyarados to learn this move. He could not say if it could learn 'Space rapture'. The probability of it learning that move was very low but it could learn 'Tenacity' with enough practice.

However, for that to happen, Gyarados have to agree to teach it. Axel felt intelligent as he had healed his Gyarados. Now, this Gyarados would owe him a favor and it might just teach his Gyarados this move.

The other Gyarados started to look at the status of their injured friends and families and then they started to heal them. Axel and the group also helped them in it.

It took around 30 minutes and finally, all the Gyarados were out of danger.

"Good job. I am impressed by you human. You have fought a great battle and you have proven yourself. You may now cross this river and we will not disturb you."

Axel came forward and asked, "Mr. Gyarados, can your Gyarados that fought my Slowpoke teach its new move that it had learned? I saw that it used some space-type moves and its body is also unusually harder. 

I can tell that it knows 2 new moves that are very unusual and also great. So, can it teach my Gyarados that move?"

Gyarados was shocked that Axel could tell it after just seeing it once or twice. It sort of respected Axel for it. 

"I am surprised that you could tell so much just by looking at it for one time. But human, what makes you think that I will let my child teach you those moves? I am letting you go out of there alive. That is the best I can do right now.", roared Gyarados in anger.

"Hey, I am not telling your child to teach me those moves for free. I also have something to trade.", said Axel.

"Oh, and what do you have to trade?", asked Gyarados seemingly curious.

"I can also teach your child and also you 2 new moves that my Gyarados knows. So, what about it? 2 moves for 2 moves. Isn't that a fair deal?", asked Axel while smiling.
