395 Progress after a Month
"This case has been closed and I think Angela is in her office. But why are you asking about her so much?", asked B
Axel then told his mission with Angela and how they were going to go to Mt. Moon.
"Axel, that place has not been explored yet. I heard that there were some bunch of people that tried but they never returned. Are you sure that you want to go there?", asked B in a concerned voice.
This was the biggest reason why Axel had not gone there till now. He knew about the incident. A group of explorer team went to the cave and never returned. They had pseudo-king rank Pokemons with them.
That was why Axel thought that he must have a team of King rank Pokemons if he wanted to go to that place.
"Don't worry. I am going with Angela due to that very reason. Angela has a Champion rank Pokemon so I would be fine. I don't think that there is a champion rank or master rank Pokemon out there.", concluded Axel.

Axel had breakfast with A and B and then he went to Angela's office.
"Oh, hello Axel. Didn't know that you came.", said Angela and greeted him.
"Yes, I was actually going to ask if you are ready?", asked Axel.
"As of matter of fact, I am. Do you want anyone to go with us?", asked Angela.
"No, just us would be fine.", said Axel.
He didn't want to bring others and complicate things. Angela was very strong and Axel was not bad too. They would be enough for this new adventure and he also trusted Angela.
"All right. Get all the things that you need. We will leave tomorrow at 6 a.m.", declared Angela.
She looked very busy with her work, so Axel just politely left the place. He went to the shop to buy potions and other necessary things. He also bought some ultra balls and master balls thinking that he might get lucky.

Axel went to the training ground and took out all of his Pokemons.
"We are going to our next mission. We will be going to Mt. Moon. It is a dangerous place.
Now, I know that you guys have worked really hard this past month and also learned some new moves. Some of you have also mastered your ability. I want you to train on these new moves and I want you to be comfortable in it."
Axel also told them to not train to the limit. They had to go on a new mission tomorrow and he didn't want them to get tired.
Nidorino was especially happy about it. Axel had already told it that it was going to evolve to its final form and now was the time.
Axel looked at the progress of his Pokemons in this past month.

Gyarados had learned 'Water manipulation' and also leveled up 'Aqua tail' to level 40. At level 40, 'Aqua tail' was a powerful move. Others would be surprised to witness an elemental-rank Pokemon capable to use an attack with so much power.

Steelix had learned 'Autotomize', 'Magnet rise', 'Sand storm', and 'Ancient power'. It had trained hard and leveled up 'Ancient power' to level 39. It had trained this move with Charizard. However, both of them were unable to level it up to 40 till now. It had also leveled up 'Sand storm' and 'Sand trap' to level 40. Yet, it still could not learn its new move, 'Sand domain'.
Any pre-domain or domain-type moves were very hard to learn. There was some progress but it was still not able to learn it.

This was what the system had shown. However, it was able to master its ability. In games and anime, 'Sturdy' was a handy move. It would allow a Pokemon to survive with 1 Hp if it was attacked with full Hp.
However, in reality, a Pokemon's defense increases by a huge margin with 'Sturdy'. After it had been mastered, Axel realized that Steelix needed to be taken down 2 times.
This meant that Steelix acquired the function just like the games.

Venusaur had also learned its new move 'Restore' and had managed to level it up to 25. Venusaur had the biggest improvement. 'Synthesis', 'Razor leaf', 'Vine whip', 'Energy ball', 'Sleeping powder' and 'Field control' had leveled up to 40.

Synthesis: It could now recovered 50% of Hp with the help of 'Sunny day'.
Razor Leaf: The power and the area of the attack had increased massively
Vine whip: It could now use 6 vines to attack and manipulate. Before it could only use 2 vines.
Energy ball: The power of the energy ball had increased. It looked more concentrated and its power had almost doubled.
Sleeping powder: The effect of the attack had increased.
Filed control: It was just like Gogoat's 'Field control' when it was level 40. It did consume a lot of stamina but it now looked like a minute version of Hashirama wood release.

Frankly, Venusaur had completed all the conditions to rank up to pseudo-king rank except for its stats.

Mamoswine had also completed its training regime. It could not level up 'Sand armor' to level 40. That was stuck at level 39. It may be cause it didn't have a ground core mastery or it had recently learned the move but Axel was confident that it would be able to do it after some time.
'Icy wind' was now level 40. It was just like Kent's Gyarados 'Icy wind'. However, the power of the attack was much lower than Kent's Gyarados. Axel believed that Mamoswine needed more practice with it.
Mamoswine was able to master its ability too. Before, 'Snow cloak' would raise the evasion of ability bearers by 20% in hail storms. However, Mamoswine would also have difficulty seeing other Pokemons during hail storms. Now, this deficiency was removed.
Mamoswine now could see the enemy perfectly in a hail storm which further increased its battle powers.

Absol and Tauros had trained hard in the past month and Axel was satisfied with it. He got the core mastery for them. Tauros now had a fighting core and Absol had a dark core. Both of these cores were fully mastered. They had still not ranked up to elemental rank but Axel was not in a hurry.

Charizard had learned 'Ominous wind' and 'Air slash'. This was just to increase the diversity of its moves and also have more special type attacks which would be boosted by its hidden ability. Unfortunately, it was not able to level up 'Ancient power' to level 40 but it was able to level up Roost to level 40.
Level 40 'Roost' automatically healed 40% of its HP which was a huge boost from 25% from before. Charizard could also fight for 5 more minutes which was a total of 10 minutes after 'Roost' was used.
'Roost' was different from the game. It did heal the Pokemon but a Pokemon would be heavily tired and be unable to battle after some time. Before Charizard could only battle for 5 minutes after 'Roost' was used. It had now increased to 10 minutes.
Axel believed that Charizard would be able to level up 'Ancient power' in this month. He was very expectant about 'Ancient power' for Charizard and Steelix.

Pidgeot was doing well. It was a training maniac. It had been able to train and level up its moves to a good level. It was now a bit closer to reaching rare rank.

Alakazam had one of the most qualitative improvements. First, its ability was mastered. With this, if an opponent causes you burn, paralysis, freeze or be poisoned, then the opponent receives the same status condition too. However, this was an active ability not a passive one. After it was mastered, it became a passive ability.
It had also learned a new move 'Enhance'. It was at level 23 now. It would directly increase all of its stats by 50% but it could only do it for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, it would be weaker and it would be tired too as it would consume a good amount of stamina.
'Greater Telekinesis' also leveled up to 40. With this Alakazam could change the direction of attack with air pressure. It would now also be able to create a vacuum around the opponent making them unable to breathe.
'Elemental manipulation' was now level 45. In addition to swords and spears, Alakazam could now make armor out of it too and it could protect it. Although it uses elemental powers to do it, the armor was semi-solid and it could take some good hits. Fighting-type energy was also added to 'Elemental manipulation'.
'Focus Blast' had also leveled up to 35.
However, Axel had another thought for this. If Axel could help Alakazam level up 'Thunderbolt', 'Flamethrower' or 'Focus Blast' to level 40, would the power of 'Elemental manipulation' increase?
He was very interested in this topic and wanted to explore more on it.
