Powerful Fletchling

"Then what do you suggest that we do?", asked Kate.

"I have a simple idea. If we were to find all these places then, the Zard family would get the fire-type resources, Lance would get dragon-type resources and I would get fairy-type resources but those who get the resources would have to share them with others.", said Axel.

"No, we cannot share it with the Venu family and other families.", said Kate.

"I am not saying you to share it with the entire family. Just the members of the team and by the way, I will also share fairy-type resources with you guys.", said Axel.

Everybody agreed to it.

"Wait, what if we find another type of resources?", asked Kate.

"That is a good question. Then we will divide. Like if we find dark type resources, that would go to K, then if we find other type resources, that would go to Cody, then Frank and if we find additional resources, then we will just battle for it.", said Axel.

"No, No no. That is not done. 3 of you are from the Venu family. We are 1 team, so why can't you guys also be one team?", asked Kate.

The discussion went on and on and they finally decided on how to divide the resources.

If they find any other type of resources then first it would go to Frank cause he was the only independent one who had not got anything. 

Then if they find other resources, then they would divide it by battling. The winner of the battle would get it and if they find other resources, the previous winner could not participate in it.

They had actually spent their entire night fighting over it. Axel hated it. He always hated the politics and now he was the leader of this team.

After discussing all of it, Kate and Ryker pointed out the possible place for fire-type resources. It was on the west side. Axel's was on the south side and Lance's was on the north side.

"Now, since we have discussed all of it, I want to ask you guys something. Harry said that it would depend on us and our Pokemons to get to the end of the north side. So, it would depend on how powerful we really are. 

So, how many of you have unlocked your aura?", asked Axel.

All of them raised their hand. Axel was happy about it. 

"How many of you have unlocked your psychic powers?"

Only Cody and Axel raised their hand.

"Now, how many of you are in uncommon rank?"

Lance, Ryker, and K raised their hand.

"How many of you are in rare rank?"

Kate raised her hand.

"How many of you are in elemental rank?"

Axel and Cody raised their hand.

The team was not powerful but they were okay. Axel just had to do everything to protect them and gain as much as he could from this island.

Next day,

"Every one of you are given a map, emergency signal and connectors. Connectors are the only thing that would connect you to us. These connectors don't work when you start to go further away from us, so keep that in mind.

All of you have 4 months. All of you are given a book on how to harness the aeus energy, so make sure that you read it. Now, let your journey begin!!!", said Harry.

"Is it just me or any of you are having a hard time breathing properly?", asked K.

"I am also feeling the same thing.", said Frank.

"Let's rest for some time. Harry said that we needed time to get used to this energy.", said Axel.

Axel was not feeling anything. On the contrary, he was feeling more active. As if he had more energy inside of him.

Harry had told them to not run off to the end of the east side as fast as they could. They needed to get used to this energy so they should be taking breaks. He suggested to take breaks every 2 hours.

However, they only stopped after walking for half a day. This was done due to some calculations done by Ryker. As per Ryker's calculation, they would not be able to complete all the sides, if they started to take breaks after every 2 hours. They had to hurry.

The east side was very long, so they would not be meeting any trainers on their way. 

Axel sat on the ground and started to meditate. He was trying to fill up the aeus energy. He had to do a series of breathing exercises and if he did all of it correctly, he would store these aeus energy inside the suit. They were given a customized suit. These suits would fill up and gather all the aeus energy and then it could be used to make armors for their Pokemons. It was a weird concept but if his Pokemons could get stronger then he had no problem.

He also told his new Pokemons to train during the break time. Axel realized that Mankey lacked a lot of move sets and it especially needed some special type moves to counter its disadvantages.

So, he told Mankey to train on these moves:

1. Earthquake

2. Bulk up

3. Cross chop

4. Low kick

5. Thunder punch

6. Fire punch

7. Focus blast

8. Reversal

9. Thrash

These were a lot of moves but Axel also knew that Mankey had to learn it in the future. So, why didn't he teach all of them to Mankey before? This was cause he wanted to master the existing ones properly. He also told it to train on its ability and hidden ability.

"Why have we not spotted any Pokemons till now? Are Pokemons here?", asked Frank.

"I don't know but I think that since the aeus energy is low here, Pokemon don't like to live here.", said Cody.

"That could be a possibility. I want to see Pokemon here. I want to know the difference out here."

They had been walking for half a day but they had not spotted even one wild Pokemons here. They must have run many kilometers. It was said that one could reach the end of the east side in 10 days and it would take 10 days to reach the center.

After 2 hours,

"I think we have to be careful even though we could not spot any Pokemons here. They must be hiding. We will start to walk now. We also need a suitable place for camp, so we should get moving.", said Axel.

They started to continue their journey and after traveling for a few minutes, Ryker said, "My Arcanine said that there was a movement there. I think we should be careful."

They started to get careful and after looking around, they found out that it was a group of Talonflame. 

There were also some Fletchling and Fletchinder around. The leader of the group was an elemental-rank Pokemon.

After seeing them, these Pokemons didn't run like normal wild Pokemons but they were staring at them with curiosity. 

Axel looked at the stats of the Fletchling that was the nearest.

This was interesting. He looked at other's stats and they were similar. All of them had 'Aeus energy' as their passive move. Axel didn't know what it did but it must be something important. 

Another interesting thing he found out was that the potential of these Pokemons was very high. An average wild Pokemons would have low potential and there were only some rare ones who had advanced and monstrous potential. 

But these Pokemons…. They at least had purple potential. The leader had brown potential. Did these high-potential Pokemons grow on trees or were they just an anomaly?

Everyone had different reactions. Ryker wanted to catch one of these Fletchlings. He didn't have a flying-type Pokemon except for Charizard. K and Frank were very interested in them as they had never seen it in real life and Bagon wanted to challenge one of these Fletchlings.

Seeing that these humans had some interest in them, they became wary. The leader came forward and tried to intimidate them. 

Kate quietly told Ryker to not catch any of them as they may get some good chances to catch some rare Pokemons. Ryker agreed to it. 

Axel wanted to convince Bagon to not fight with one of them but Bagon was not going to listen. It had lost to a flying-type Pokemon before and since that day it had been trying to work hard to defeat one of them. Now, it was going to take its revenge.

Axel moved forward and said to the leader, "Talonfalme, my Bagon wants to challenge one of your Fletchlings. If you don't have any problem with this, then send out your best."

Talonflame looked at its team and told one of the Fletchlings to challenge Bagon. Axel looked at its stats to see how powerful it really was.

This was the most powerful Fletchling in the group. Axel was surprised to see that it had brown potential. It also knew some moves that could be deadly to Bagon.

"Let the battle begin!!"

Fletchling flew in the sky and used 'Sunny day'. Meanwhile, Bagon gave a roar showing that it was ready to battle. Bagon knew that it could not fly now so it had to strike it when it was coming down. It just had to time it perfectly.

Fletchling then came rushing down using 'Flame charge'. Bagon dodged it narrowly and then used 'Head butt' and it was thrown to the ground and crashed into it.

That was a powerful 'Head butt' from a dragon-type Pokemon. This was also the highest-level move of Bagon. So, anyone would think that Fletchling would at least be injured. But it was not. 

It just stood right back up and flew. This time it used 'Air cutter'. This was a special type move. Since it was a wide-area move, Bagon knew that it could not dodge it. So, it used 'Dragon breath' to counter it and then used 'Defense curl' to defend itself.

The battle went on for 10 straight minutes and Bagon finally won after using 'Thrash'.

Bagon puffed off its chest and roared announcing its victory. It wanted to look cool as Charizard but it was looking extremely cute. Axel went and gave potions to both of them as both of them were injured. 

Meanwhile, Ryker was furious. This Fletchling was a gold mine. It could fight with a trained dragon-type Pokemon for such a long time and it was going to win. 

He knew he had missed his chance cause that Fletchling was now interested in Bagon and Axel.

However, Axel didn't want to catch it. This was the first group of Pokemon they had found and they might find others too. He could find some rare Pokemons with very good potential on this island and he would be catching the best one.

Talonflame was not a bad Pokemon. It was flying/fire type Pokemon and it was fast and strong. But he already had a flying/fire type Pokemon and that was Charizard. So, he didn't find the need to catch it as Charizard was vastly stronger than Talonflame.

Axel talked to the leader for some time with his psychic and what he found was surprising.
