559 Mighty Dragonite
'What are you going to do Dragonite? Don't let me down.', thought Axel. Even though he wanted to be neutral in this fight, he was obviously supporting his sister's Pokemon.
Meanwhile, Lyra and Hymer were in high spirits. That was a dragon-type Pokemon. Defeating a dragon-type Pokemon spoke volumes. 'Icy wind' was an ice-type attack and it was deadly for a dragon-type Pokemon. Now, Milotic was hidden in this icy mist, Dragonite could not even see it.
So, most of them believed that Dragonite was going to lose.
Suddenly, Dragonite gave a huge roar. A blue aura covered all of its body and it looked very angry. Axel didn't know what it had used. It might be the new move that Agnes was bragging about.
Milotic started to rush towards Dragonite and then it used 'Dragon tail'. It was a dragon-type move and was supper effective against 'Dragonite'. However, to the contrary, the move didn't even make a scratch.
"What the hell is that?", shouted Lance. Lance was supposed to be the dragon-type trainer and he was sure that there was no such dragon-type move that would raise a dragon type's defense to such a high level.
Dragonite gave a huge roar and it turned towards Milotic and then used 'Flamethrower'. Milotic was able to dodge but 'Dragonite' was not done. It opened its mouth and a small ball of sun came out which went high in the air and then the environment started to change.
Suddenly, it started to get sunny and the sunlight was a bit harsh.
'Dragonite has trained a lot on its 'Sunny day'', thought Axel. Axel knew what Dragonite was planning. The rain had stopped but the mist was still there and nobody could properly Milotic.
Milotic then used a bold move. It realized Dragonite had not even moved an inch after it was covered with such a huge aura. So, it realized that this might be the weakness of the move.
It directly went towards Dragonite, wrapped it with its body, and then proceeded to use 'Ice beam'. Dragonite was very weak to ice type moves, so it was sure that Dragonite would incur a huge amount of damage by this move. It might even faint.
However, it made a lethal mistake. Dragonite might not be able to move, but it could turn around. Dragonite directly grabbed its body with its bare hand and then used a full power 'Thunder punch'
BANG!!
It then fired up a powerful 'Flamethrower' at point-blank range. Milotic was flown off by quite a distance and then it crashed to the ground. If it was a normal rare-rank Pokemon, the battle would have been over.
The 'Aqua ring' was broken off and Milotic immediately used 'Life dew' to recover some of its health. 'Life dew' was a powerful move but Axel knew that it could only use it 1 or 2 times at this stage.
Milotic was getting ready for round 2. It looked at Dragonite and saw that Dragonite was giving an evil laugh. It could not realize why it was doing it but then it felt something.
It looked into the sky and found a few pieces of rocks covered in a layer of fire coming towards Milotic at a great speed. Now, Milotic had time to hide but the coverage area of the attack was very big. It tried to move and avoided the direct contact. But the damage had been done.
BANG!!!! BANG!!!! BANG!!!! BANG!!!! BANG!!!!
Multiple explosions went on and nobody could tell if Milotic was standing. Dragonite was able to fly and dodge its own attack. It was 'Draco meteor'.
'The power of the move has increased. Agnes had been training it quite well.', thought Axel.
Meanwhile, Lance's face was hilarious. 'Draco meteor' was not a move that could be learned easily. If a dragon-type Pokemon didn't have this move as an egg move, then it might not ever learn it in its lifetime.
Lance only had 1 dragon-type Pokemon that knew this move and he had many dragon-type Pokemons. He was the one who had given the egg of this Dragonite to Axel. He could not believe that Axel's sister was so lucky.
Even though it was a rare rank Pokemon, Dragonite was powerful. Dragonite took advantage of the training grounds and trained in them every day. Its stats were high for a normal rare-rank Pokemon.
The dust and debris from the explosion settled and now everyone could see the state of Milotic. It was covered in a white glow. Axel could not tell what it was doing but after some time it returned to its normal state.
Axel could see that some of its moves had healed but it was still injured. The fight went on for 2-3 minutes and by this Milotic didn't look majestic like before. It had multiple injuries and punctured wounds and finally, it fell down.
"Dragonite has won the rare rank Pokemon section and had defeated Milotic. Let's give it a round of applause.", shouted Noah looking proud at Agnes and Dragonite.
The crowd cheered in happiness. Almost all of them wanted Dragonite to win and it had finally won. With this, the first round of 'Blaze Pokemon competition' came to an end.
There were guards that were helping the crowd get out of the stadium.

"Mom, how much money did we make today?", asked Axel.
"Hehe, we made around 1.5 million dollars today. Including the rent of the stalls, the food, and the ticket price. I believe that the money will increase a lot tomorrow too.", replied his mother.
1.5 million Poke dollars a day was a very good income. Axel and the family had used around 1 billion Poke dollars to make the stadium. It was a huge investment and Axel knew that it would take some time to recover all the money. He didn't expect to recover all the money in this competition.
It might take a couple of years to recover all the money. Axel was also thinking of using the training grounds for other people so that he could earn some money from it too.
"I believe, we might earn around 10 million Poke dollars in this event. That is still good money for a week. We will increase the prices next year.", said Axel.
"Next year, are we not doing it every 6 months?", asked Agnes.
"No, if it was just us then, doing it in 6 months would not be an issue but since we have so many trainers now, it should be done in 1 year.", replied Axel.
This was actually done cause he didn't want to reveal the power of his Pokemons every six months. Doing it every 6 months would decrease the hunger for such competition.

Next day,
The battle of elemental rank Pokemons did gather a lot of attention. Most of the trainer may not even have an elemental Pokemon in their lifetime. It was not easy to have one.
So, the number of the crowd had increased than yesterday.
"Son, do you think that this recipe would work?", asked Cerlin.
"I don't know but we have to try it. Let's taste it ourselves first, then we can also put it in the stall.", said Axel.
"What is it called again?", asked Cerlin.
"It is called Momo."
"Ok, let's try it."
The item of snacks in this restaurant was very less and it was also not better than others. Axel's restaurant mainly focused on rice, dal, and curry. There were no snacks or a side dish.
So, their stall sales had not been very good yesterday. So, Axel came up with one of the most famous Nepalese snacks called Momo.
This food was mainly derived from a Chinese cuisine called 'Dumplings' with some twists and turns. For the sale to rise today, the dish and to be perfect and Axel knew that the chatni of Momo was the main attraction.
So, Axel and his mother had been working all night to come up with a perfect chatni/Jhol for the Momos and after repeated practice, Axel was finally satisfied.
It was the best perse but it was still good. For those who had not eaten Momo before, this dish would attract a lot of attention.

Axel's Pokemons were not participating today cause there were no elemental rank Pokemons in this team. All of them were either pseudo-king rank or above or far below. However, he was not going to miss it either. He wanted to see the power of other trainer's Pokemons.
The competition went on. Frank's Pokemon especially, his Machamp, Crobat, and Charizard had improved a lot. They were only able to become elemental rank Pokemons due to the resources. Frank had not trained them well before. However, after training them rigorously for 5 months, their strength had improved.
However, they were still far from other Pokemons from other trainers. Slowking also improved a lot. Noah had been serious in its training. However, the Pokemon that surprised Axel and everyone else was Heracross of Ryker.
Axel had expected it to have a fighting-type core but surprisingly it had bug type core and man that was a beast of a Pokemon. Being Heracross it had very powerful physical stats and it used its bug type mastery to increase it already broken stats to maximum.
It also had a new move which somehow increased its physical powers to a great level. The most powerful Pokemons in this section were Tyranitar, Crobat, and Heracross.
Even though Slowking was powerful, it had not been a long time since it had become an elemental rank Pokemon. So, it could still not fight like Tyranitar.
Kate's Tyranitar was obviously a powerful Pokemon. It was a pseudo-legendary Pokemon and it was great build and defense. It used 'Sand storm' to determine the field of the battle and it also had some powerful rock-type moves to counter other Pokemons.
Finally, Heracross fought with Crobat in the semifinal. Axel had expected Heracross to win as it showed a great amount of ability and fighting experience.
The battle went on with Heracross powerful bug-type moves and Crobat poison-type moves. After looking at Nidoking of Axel, K also seemed to have gained some enlightenment in the poison department.
It also seemed to have comprehended a new move that looked very powerful. The move would spread poison all over the surroundings and there would be sort of checkpoints where poison was placed. Crobat could then go to those checkpoints at incredible speed and it could attack its opponents.
This was a new concept. It was also shrouded with a purple aura as a shield which was also a new move. This Crobat was very intelligent and talented. Axel didn't know that K had such a powerful Pokemon.
However, Heracross had a great defense. Its horn looked mighty and all of them could see that Crobat was losing but then something amazing happened.
There was a locket in Crobat's neck. It suddenly broke and Crobat was immediately surrounded with purple light and the glow started to increase.
It was ranking up during the battle.
As it was a friendly fight and due to the tradition, Heracross watched it rank up. It used some status moves to upgrade its attack and defense and then was ready to fight again.
The locket was everstone. K had been diligently using this locket to increase the base and foundation of his Pokemons. He had stopped doing it when he saw how fast Axel was progressing but after a series of events, he realized that he could not be so greedy. He wanted his Pokemons to have a great foundation and that was what he did.
Mark had also upgraded the everstone locket since last time. Now, after the Pokemons have upgraded their stats to the ultimate level, the stone would break automatically and then they would rank up.
