180 Kanto Vs Hoenn (Wallace)

"Romero, surrender NOW!!!!"

A loud voice came from the Hoenn team. Romero didn't want to surrender but even he knew that surrendering was his best choice now.

He gritted his teeth and then said, "I surrender!!"

"The first member of the Hoenn team has surrendered. The next member should be on the stage in 10 seconds", shouted Boris excitedly.

The loud voice was of Steven Stone. Steven was a timid and friendly person. But when it came to battle he was strict. The first battle had gone horribly wrong.

"Change of Plans. Wallace, you are up.", said Steven. Wallace then took the stage.

Steven was naturally the team leader of the Hoenn region team. He didn't want to send Wallace this soon. He wanted to use Wallace as a trump card but unfortunately except for him and Wallace, all of his team member's Pokemon were weak to ice type. Ice was not strong against many typings but their team had to have Pokemons weak to ice type.

With the effect of 'Blizzard', 'Hail', and 'Rainy dance', it would be stupid to send a Pokemon weak to ice type. So, he chose Wallace to go second.

"Wallace, send out your Pokemon", said Alex hoping that Wallace would win it.

"Go Ludicolo"

The table suddenly turned when Ludicolo appeared. This was due to Ludicolo's ability.

"Does it have 'Rain dish' or 'Swift swim'?", murmured Axel. Both of these abilities would be activated in rain which was happening now. The former would increase the user's hp by 1/16 each turn as per game details and the second would double its speed in rain. Both of which would happen if it had mastered the ability which was not possible at this stage.

Jynx had also healed itself fully from the 'Air slash' due to its hidden ability 'Dry skin' which would increase its hp by 1/8 each turn during the rain if fully mastered. Since the ability was not mastered the increase in hp was very less but the attack was done some time ago and the ability was the better version of 'Rain dish' which made Axel sigh in relief.

"Let the Battle begin!!"

Both of the moves clashed with each other. The combination of 'Hail', 'Rain dance' and 'Blizzard' was giving Jynx a better chance of winning. Due to the use of 'Hail', even if Ludicolo had moves like 'Solar beam', it would be half in power and since there was no sunlight, 'Solar beam' would take a huge amount of time to be used.

Jynx mainly attacked with 'Icicle spear' and 'Ice beam'. Using move like 'Blizzard' would consume its stamina and Lorelai didn't want that.

Ludicolo mainly used 'Energy ball', 'Rajor leaf' and 'Leech seed'. But unfortunately, due to the environment in the favor of Jynx, none of 'Leech seed' made contact.

Axel figured that Ludicolo didn't have 'Swift swim' but it had 'Rain dish' which was a good news as in the early stages of ability mastery, 'Rain dish' would recover very little Hp but even a bit of increase in speed could be fatal as Jynx was not a fast Pokemon.

The battle was going in Jynx's favor. It was not as easy as the previous one but everyone could see that Ludicolo was on the losing end. Jynx Sp. Attk moves were boosted by 'Calm mind' and 'Hail' was obstructing and injuring Ludicolo. Ludicolo used 'Giga drain' a couple of times but it was not very effective and since it was a big move, it consumed a lot of stamina.

Now, seeing that he could not win the battle anyhow, Wallace made a big decision.

Just a second before Jynx felt a little off and became vigilant. This was due to its ability 'Forewarn' which would warn it of any danger.

"'Waterfall' and 'Focus Blast'"

'Waterfall' was an aquatic charged attack with great speed while 'Focus blast' was a fighting type move that was very deadly. The reason Wallace didn't use it until now was only due to 1 reason. It consumed a lot of stamina. And since, it was a fighting type move, it consumed more stamina Ludicolo.

Ludicolo charged with 'Waterfall' which Jynx was somehow able to dodge due to its ability 'Forewarn' but it could not dodge 'Focus blast' which send it flying a few meters.

Ludicolo fainted on the spot after using the said move and nothing could be said about Jynx.

But Jynx was successful to stand up with difficulty.

"The second member of the Hoenn team has been defeated. The next member should be on the stage within 10 seconds.", shouted Boris excitedly.

The Kanto team was on the roll. Jynx was the weakest Pokemon in their team but after using the combination of 'Hail' and 'Rain dance' it was a powerful force. Axel could not believe that their weakest Pokemon could defeat 2 Pokemons of the Hoenn team.

'Did we train too hard?', thought Axel.

With Wallace gone, the only problem was Steven. Axel could still not underestimate him.

"Susan, you are up", said Wallace.

Susan was from the swamp family. She was a fairly tall girl with long legs and blond hair. She had a beautiful face but it looked hideous right now. Obviously, she was angry after her team repeatedly lost 2 battles.

"Send out your Pokemon", said Boris, and Susan threw the Pokeball.

The Pokemon that came out of that Pokeball shocked Axel.

It was a blue, avian Pokemon. Its body and cloud-like wings were covered in fluffy, white feathers. It had a short, hooked beak and prominent cheek patches, both of which are white. Additionally, it had beady, black eyes. It had a long neck and short legs protruding from its fluffy body. The feet were blue with four toes, three claws forward, and one backward. The tail was made up of five feathers, the outer two being longer than the inner ones.
