7 Elemental Cores and First Trainer Battle (Edited)
"Nidoran, Do you know that your final evolution, Nidorino can further evolve?", Axel said.
"NIDO….!!!" Nidoran was shocked. As it was just 3 months and some days old, it easily believed its trainer.
"Yes, it is called Nidoking. It is one of the king species. It is said to be an extremely powerful Pokemon that can also beat powerful dragon-type Pokemon." said Axel looking at the excited face of his Pokemon.
"And I know how to evolve you to Nidoking. But you must be diligent and train harder okay?" asked Axel.
"Nido… Nidoran", it said.
"You are a poison type Pokemon. For your poison to be deadly, You must first form your poison core. Of course, after we train and battle, the poison core will be created slowly, but I have a way to do it faster so that you could be powerful in a short time.
This F.Nidoran was also a poison type Pokemon. You have to eat its meat and assimilate the poison below your navel while meditating. After you start to eat more poison type Pokemon and do this training, your poison core will be formed and it will get stronger. Your poison attack will also be greater."
Elemental cores were formed in any Pokemon naturally. Only after evolving to its next stage could Pokemon ascend to the rank of 'Elemental Pokemon'. Normally Pokemons could ascend to Elemental rank as it is hard to train elemental powers.
Axel came up with this idea on his own by contemplating a lot of Chinese novels in his previous world.
Nidoran hesitated when it heard its trainer. Apparently, Nidoran doesn't like to eat meat. Its species is not herbivorous but this Nidoran was a vegetarian.
Axel already knew that on the first day, he met Nidoran so, he had been secretly mixing Pidgey meat in Nidoran food to get it accustomed to meat. Poor Nidoran had no idea about it. But after finding out about its further evolution it finally decided to eat it.
Axel wanted Nidoran to eat it raw, cause if it was cooked, the poison in the F.Nidoran body would diminish to great extent. But seeing Nidoran hesitating, he half-cooked the meat. Nidoran started to eat the meat and found the flavor not so different.
After eating the meat, it meditated as it was told by its trainer. He didn't want to train its elemental powers right now, but if a poison Pokemon came across, he wouldn't hesitate to form its poison core.
Axel didn't get any notification immediately but he was not disheartened. During their training, They came across 3 Metapods but it was no problem for Nidoran. It quickly defeated the group. Its Focus energy and Horn attack completion percentage increased by 15 and 20 respectively.

After 2 weeks,
They could finally see the city, 'Gringey city'. It was at least 5 km far, but they could reach at 5 p.m. There had been some improvement with Nidoran. Its height has increased to 0.4 meters. Nidoran's standard height is around 0.5 meters. Its height grew by 0.1 meter within 2 weeks.
Axel assumed that Nidoran would surpass the standard height as it is just around 4 months old right now. Its horn had also grown and had finally learned 'Horn attack' yesterday. 'Focus energy' was at 96% completion rate. 'Rest' completion rate had also increased to 60%.
Nidoran was extremely happy that it had learned its first move. It had battle a variety of wild pokemons like Pidgey, Ekans, Caterpie, Metapod etc. Its poison core was also in the process of being formed. The poison core may take some time because the progress was very slow. Some of its Stats also increased.

Nidoran never liked to stay inside Pokeball. Axel tried it many times but to no avail. He ultimately thought that Nidoran would be like Ash's Pikachu, so he let it be.
"Let's run from here. After we reach, we will take a long rest in the bed", he said.
"Nido!.."
As they were running, to reach their destination, they came across a boy not much older than Alex walking towards the city.
"Hey mate, are you going to the city too?" the boy asked.
"Yes, I am Axel and this is my partner Nidoran. How long have you been in this forest? Do you want to travel together to the city?", replied Axel.
"Alright, I don't mind. I am Bruno. Are you a trainer too? If yes, how about a quick battle?", Bruno asked.
Axel looked into his partner's eyes and seeing the determination, he agreed. They created a distance for the fight and Bruno threw his Pokeball. A red light came from the ball and a bird type Pokemon came into view.
"Piii… ". It was a Pidgey.
The Pidgey didn't look as healthy and energetic as Nidoran. Looking at the opponent's Pokemon, Axel realized that Bruno was also a Rookie trainer. Nidoran immediately came to the battle stage and took a deep breath.
"Pidgey, fly above and use 'Gust'"
"Piiid…"
"Nidoran concentrate and dodge it when it comes", Axel commanded.
"Nido!!".
Pidgey flew at a height and flapped its wings and used 'Gust'. Nidoran dodged it, but not successfully. Nidoran was hit by it and it flew away 2 meters but it stabilized itself.
"Nidoran, use 'Venom drench' on the ground."
Venom drench was a move in which a Pokemon sprays the poison to its target.
"Pidgey, use 'Gust' again" Bruno said.
"Nidoran concentrate and dodge again."
As Pidgey was flying above and using gust, Nidoran could only dodge. This 'Gust' was dodged perfectly. Nidoran's training was showing its result. After a couple of unsuccessful 'Gust', Pidgey was starting to get tired. Nidoran was also breathing heavily but it was not as tired as Pidgey.
"Pidgey use 'Peck'", Bruno said.
"Nidoran dodge and use 'Tackle'".
Pidgey used 'Peck', Nidoran tried to dodge it but it still got connected. Nidoran also used 'Tackle' at the same time, so both parties were hit. 'Tackle' was level 7 now so it affected Pidgey a lot. Pidgey crashed to the ground and was poisoned because of 'Venom drench' on the ground.
"Nidoran, now use 'Horn attack' at full power."
"Nido…. ran!!"
Nidoran's 'Horn attack' connected. Out of reflex, Pidgey used 'Peck' and 'Tackle' but it was poisoned again cause of Nidoran's ability 'poison point'.
Bruno was so surprised that he could not give any instructions. Nidoran used 'Poison sting' and 'Horn attack' to conclude the match.
"You could use my antidote if you don't have one. Your Pokemon looks very hurt", Axel said.
"No need, I have one. Your Nidoran also looks very tired. But I have another Pokemon too… Go Shedinja"
"Shedinja"
"Remember Shedinja, this is your final chance. If I have to take you to the Pokemon center again, I will throw you out of the team"
"Shed.." Shedinja looked in very bad shape. It had bruises on its body. It looked like it was about to cry.
'Is he abusing his Pokemon?', Axel thought.
"Hey, why are you berating your Pokemon? And it looks very tired and hurt, I don't think it can battle properly"
"Shut up, you care about your Pokemon, I know how to handle mine."
Shedinja was by far the weakest Pokemon in Pokemon history. Its total base stat is 236 and it has 1 HP. Yes only 1 HP. So if in the game, your attack connects then it was down. However, it was not exactly the same in reality.
But it does have very low HP. If its defense was breached, then a normal attack could faint it. A powerful attack like 'Hyper beam' could kill the Pokemon. It was illegal to kill a Pokemon in a Pokemon battle. But there was a clause in all the Pokemon battle contest that, if Shedinja was killed in battle, there would be no repercussions.
Yes, this was made for only 1 Pokemon cause it was so weak. Nincada, its pre-evolved form also didn't normally evolve to Shedinja cause of its low HP. Thus, Shedinja was an endangered species.
"Shedinja use 'Gust'"
Nidoran did an easy dodge without any command from its trainer cause of all the battle experience it got. Shedinja used 'Gust' multiple times but it didn't connect.
Losing his mind Bruno shouted, "Shedinja win at all cost.. Now!!" Being afraid of losing its trainer, it used 'Tackle'.
"Nidoran, use 'Peck'"
Both of them collided and Shedinja couldn't stand after that.
"If you hate Shedinja, then why did you catch it in the first place?", Axel asked.
"I didn't catch it. Nincada was my starter Pokemon but it evolved after some time. When it was evolving, I told it not to evolve, but it evolved anyway and Ninjask and Shedinja came to be. But the evolution didn't go as planned and Ninjask died. Now I have this useless Pokemon", Bruno glared at Shedinja who was in the process of fainting.
"You haven't won any battle after you evolved. Your recovery cost is so high that it is making me mad. Go where ever you want. From now on you are not my Pokemon."
"Shed.. Shed .. .. Shhedd… Shedinja", it said crawling to its trainer cause apparently of the battle it could not even fly well.
Shedinja was crying heavily and begging its trainer to take it back. But it angered Bruno even more. So he threw Shedinja Pokeball in the grass and ran from there. "Shed…..Shedinjaaaaaa!!", it was crying very loudly. Its incompetence had finally made it alone. Nidoran looked at Shedinja and his trainer and felt very glad that Axel cared about it very deeply.
Nidoran came near Shedinja and started patting its head to calm Shedinja. Shedinja was still trying to crawl toward Bruno but he was long gone.
Axel was horror-struck by seeing this scene. He hated trainers that don't take care of their Pokemon properly. He started looking at the sky and remembered how he had to give up his Dog 'Marcus' in the previous world.
In his previous world, when Axel was in school, his parents were always busy because of their work. They had a puppy called Marcus. Marcus was very excited and a bit violent dog. It used to bite the guest sometimes. His parents didn't have time to take care of and train the puppy properly.
One day, he came home from school and found that his parents had given Marcus to a dog club. Axel cried for 3 days and didn't talk to his parents for a very long time.
Seeing Shedinja like this, tears came from his eyes. Axel crouched down towards Shedinja and asked, "Hey, Shedinja, do you want to be my Pokemon?"
