490 Charizard Vs Charizard
"Come out, CHARLES!!!", shouted Axel and threw the ball in the air.
ROOOOOOARRRRR
When Charizard came out, it gave a huge roar. Even the ground began to shake a little from its roar. Everyone was covering their ears with their hand.
Charizard saw another Charizard and the rivalry was established immediately.
Axel's Charizard already knew that it was stronger than its opponent but it still wanted to show its power and domination.
[Kate's Charizard would be refereed as Charizard 1 in this battle.]
Charizard 1 was a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon. Kate was from a Zard family so her Charizard was very powerful. She had this Charizard since she was 8 years old and it had been 10 years. So, she was confident that Axel's Charizard could not beat her Charizard.
So when Axel said that her Charizard only had to survive for 5 minutes, she was very happy and she thought it to be an easy win. Now, seeing Axel's Charizard, she started to doubt herself. Surviving 5 minutes would be hard. It was a genuine tier 2 king rank Charizard.
"Let the battle begin!!!", shouted the referee.
"Charles, we have to finish this battle in 5 minutes. Start with 'Blaze' and 'Solar power'"
ROOOARRR
"Charizard, you also start with 'Blaze'", said Kate.
Both of the Charizards activated their ability, 'Blaze'.
BOOOOMMMM
The power revealed by both of the Pokemons was humongous. Of course, 'Blaze' of Charizard was vastly more powerful than 'Blaze' of Charizard 1.
"Flamethrower!!!", shouted both of them.
Charizard 1 spewed out hot red flames toward Charizard while Charizard spewed out blue and white colored flames toward Charizard 1.
Both of these flames clashed and …

Charizard won the clash and Charizard 1 was hit by a powerful blast of flames.
Axel and Kate were using 'Aura coat' during the battle. It was surprising that Kate also knew this aura move.
Charizard 1 had very high resistance to fire-type moves. Kate had trained it in that way as this was the basics for any Charizard in the Zard family. That was why Kate was confident to win before.
However, the flames of Charizard were very hot and very powerful. Charizard 1 was instantly injured.
"Charles, use 'Dragon roar' and 'Dragon scales'", said Axel.
Axel was very confident with Charizard. If Shedinja was not immune to fire-type and dragon-type attacks, Charizard might be the most powerful Pokemon in his team. It had won against Cynthia's Garchomp. So, its power could not be underestimated.
Kate could already tell that Axel's Charizard was different. It was bigger than a normal Charizard and it had dragon scales. She had never seen such a Charizard before. She had read many history books about Charizard and it was said that Charizard was a dragon-type Pokemon in ancient times.
'Was Axel able to make Charizard a dragon-type Pokemon?', she thought but she didn't have the time to think about this issue.
Charizard was pure power. It didn't focus on defense. It only focused on delivering more hits. Kate knew that she could not ask her Charizard to hide or dodge the attacks. Cause it would never do so.
So, her only option was to go full offensive.
"Charizard, it is now time. Use 'Blaze domain'"
She decided to use a pre-domain move this early in the battle. She only had to survive for 4 minutes now and the pre-domain would comfortably last till that time.
Axel was also not going to stand still.
"Charles, 'Dragon king'", said Axel.
Dragon king was a pre-domain move that would combine both 'Dragon domain' and 'Fire domain'.
Axel saw that when Charizard 1 used 'Blaze domain', the ability 'Blaze' which it had used before and which was still in effect was enhanced to an unbelievable degree and it covered 10 meters around it.
Now, 'Blaze' would increase the fire-type powers of Charizard 1 and this 'Blaze domain' seems to heighten it to a very large degree. Charizard 1 also looked more powerful inside the domain.
Charizard's 'Fire domain' would also do the same but it looked like Charizard 1 'Blaze domain' was more powerful than 'Fire domain'. However, Charizard was not using 'Fire domain'. It was using 'Dragon king' which was the combination of 2 pre-domain type moves.
After using the domain moves, the power of both of the Pokemons were enhanced to a very high level.
"Charles, use 'Dragon dance' and then use 'Flame wings' with 'Wing attack'."
Charizard was so fast that Charizard 1 could not dodge it. With 'Dragon Dance', the power of Charizard was very high. 'Flame wings' were also mixed on the attack.
Charizard directly clashed its right wing on Charizard 1 chest. It did type to use its hands to block the attack but it was not able to do so. The attack gave a big wound to Charizard 1 chest and it was flown off. It crashed to the ground after taking the hit.
Charizard then used 'Fire pledge' and created a fire pillar that enveloped Charizard 1.
ROOOOARRR
Charizard 1 gave a painful cry after it was hit by the attack. It then used 'Belly drum' and 'Dragon claw' and hit Charizard 1 in the wounded chest.
Charizard 1 had fainted. Charizard then deactivated its domain and its ability.
The battle only lasted for 2 minutes. This was a king rank battle so it should have lasted longer. Charizard had also not gone full power in this battle. If Charizard had used 'Transform' then Charizard 1 might have died.
There was complete silence in the stadium. People didn't cheer for Axel's victory cause they were scared of Axel's Charizard.
Charizard had defeated Charizard 1 within 2 minutes. Charizard 1 was groomed by Kate who was a member of a Zard family. So it was an unbelievable thing to witness.
"I guess I will be taking that 20% discount.", said Axel with a smile.
"I know I should not ask you this but can you tell me how did you train your Charizard? I will give you a 50% discount.", asked Kate.
"Haha, I am sorry but unless we get married for life, I cannot tell you that.", said Axel.
He then turned around and went his way.

Gatr family was having a huge party and Axel was the main reason for it. They had won the battle and they would be getting a huge amount of resources. Axel didn't ask what they would be getting cause he was not getting any of it.
After thinking a lot about Kate, he decided that he would not pursue her till he had multiple championship titles or till he became the Pokemon master.
Kate seemed like a good girl and she was very beautiful but she was a distraction. Axel could not afford a distraction right now. Even if all the things went well and they became a couple, he had to spend time with her on the phone and on dates and he didn't want to do that right now.
He could have asked her number on that bet but he didn't. However, he also didn't want to be distant with her. So, he told her that she would handle all his purchases with a 20% discount.
Axel would hardly buy anything from Zard's auction house as he didn't need much of anything right now. He might in the future but it would be very rare.
Rabin came near him and gave him a handbook.
"This is all the training plans of Totodile line as you requested.", said Rabin.
"Thanks. Now I can train my Totodile with a good training plan.", said Axel.
"You know you can stay here for as long as you can.", said Rabin.
"Hmm. I think I will take that offer. I need to train my Pokemons and you guys have some good training grounds.", said Axel.
None of his Pokemons was even uncommon rank and he needed to train them hard. Their vacation was over now. Bagon was ready to train and he also had to think of a training plan for Mankey.
He wanted it to evolve to Primeape. There were 3 Pokemons in his Johto team that didn't have a normal evolution.
1. Togepi
2. Acron
3. Mankey
That meant that they could have their final evolution when they reached pseudo-king rank. That also meant that they could have 2 cores. Axel talked about it to these Pokemons. Mankey and Acron wanted to have 2 cores but Togepi didn't. It wanted to evolve to Togekiss as fast as possible cause it wanted to be as powerful as its father and it also didn't care about flying type.
It wanted to be the strongest fairy-type Pokemon there was.
The party went on for quite some time and Axel went to bed.

Next morning, Training ground,
Charizard had been finally able to control its firepower to a decent level. It was now training on other things like its tail and other moves like 'Ash manipulation'. It has still not been able to come up with a new move relating to its tail and Axel was thinking of helping it.
Others were doing their own thing too. Nidoking was training on its ground-type move and it was also concentrating on physical moves. It had learned 3 moves relating to physical type moves.
1. Thunder punch
2. Fire punch
3. Iron Tail
Axel believed that its arms and tail were very strong and he should capitalize on it. Axel also told it to level up 'Bite' and 'Horn drill' to level 40.

Now, the training of new Pokemons.
Axel had been reading the training manual of Totodile line and found out that Totodile or its evolved form Feraligatr was Pokemon that focused on attack and defense. It was also a powerful Pokemon with a special type attack but it was known for its huge bite force and a strong tail.
So, the Gatr family handbook recommended training it in physical type moves. The handbook also said to concentrate on its bite and teeth from the beginning. There were also some medicines written down to increase the jaw power of the Pokemon.
The handbook was not very detailed on how to train till master rank but Axel was happy with it. He got to know how the Gatr family trained their Pokemons and now he had a good knowledge about it.
The Handbook also said that it had great strength on its legs and it was very fast. It was also too heavy to handle its own weight so most of the time it would move in all fours. Axel wanted to remove this deficiency. A normal Feraligatr was around 90 Kg and it was around 7 feet tall. That was a huge Pokemon.
As of right now, his Totodile loved to make pranks on other Pokemons but in the future, it would be a dangerous Pokemon. All the new Pokemons had learned their new moves.

Its stats have changed a bit and Axel was happy about it. It would be a special attacker. Axel knew it but he let it learn 'Tackle' to just train on its body stats. All in all, it was doing great. Its moves have not even crossed level 20 so it had to train its moves.
Bagon was just training in its egg moves as Elm had said. Mankey had learned 'Close combat'. All of them were training in their moves. Axel thought to concentrate on their training for some time and then think of having their first battle.
