21 Auction House (Edited)

The auction house was not very far from the Pokemon Hunters building. However, Axel wanted to take his time and roam around for some time. He had earned a lot of money and he realized that he had not even looked around the city to explore. He bought a locket with a black stone carved into Gengar for his sister.

His sister was on weird things. Not the adult weird but the child weird. He thought she might like it. He also wanted to buy some things for his parents but he decided not to. He had not bought anything for his parents till now. So he wanted to buy something big and expensive for them.

He knew he didn't have the luxury for that now. His parents right now were much better than his earthling parents. His mama and papa from Earth were career-driven people so they didn't have much time for him.

They did care for him but he was always alone with his grandfather. He did miss them from time to time but his parents here had time for him and care deeply. So he wanted to do something good for them.

At around 3 p.m. he went to the auction house.

The guard stopped him. "I have an appointment with Mr. Timoothy Zard", Axel said.

The guard then talked through his walkie-talkie and then let him in. He was led by a beautiful girl wearing black pants, a white shirt and a black blazer.

"Hello sir, my name is Kate Bane. Mr. Timoothy Zard is waiting for you on the 3rd floor.", said the girl.

"Hi, I am Axel Blaze."

Axel too introduced himself. The girl or shall we call her a woman was around in her 20s. She was a brunette with black hair with brown color highlighted. The hair ended below her shoulders. Her height was around 5 feet 9 inches but she looked above 6 feet due to her 4-inch hills. She had long legs and a banging ass. She was a slim girl with medium-sized boobs, at least that is what Axel figured. She had a beautiful face with red lips and you could cut a stone with her cheekbones. All in all, she was a beautiful lady.

Axel was just staring at her ass jiggling remotely as she was leading the way climbing up the stairs. The jiggling of her ass on her tight pants may not be noticeable for a normal person but Axel, being an experienced Pokemon trainer could notice those minute movements.

Her height looked almost double of Axel as girls normally look taller than boys even if their height is the same. Axel may only be 13 years old but he was already in his 20s when he died on earth. So he was awestruck when he saw her. Thus she became his first crush after he came to this world.

Axel didn't even realize when he reached the 3rd floor. Kate knocked on the door 3 times and the voice said to come in. Axel guessed when one's crush knocked 3 times, you would know that it is definitely not 2 times. The voice seemed old.

"Alright then, Mr. Axel please proceed inside.", Kate said politely.

"Ahh.. Huh.. Oh ok then. Thank you Miss Kate.", he said and then walked inside.

The room was very well decorated with paintings on the wall which seemed like which was drawn by famous painters. The interior was very nice and inviting, not like the one in Pokemon Hunters.

An old man wearing a formal suit with full moon spectacles was sitting on a chair and seeping tea. He put down the cup on the table and welcomed Axel.

"Ahh.. Mr. Axel. A pleasure to be your acquaintance. Mr. Koga had said a lot of things about you", Timoothy said standing up and raising his hand for a handshake.

"All good things I hope and the pleasure is all mine Mr. Timoothy", Axel replied shaking his hand.

"Oh, all good .. All good.. Please have a seat"

The old man's surname was 'Zard' which was after Charizard. This was another interesting fact he learned when coming into this world. The starter Pokemons were not chosen randomly. It came up with a lot of history.

Each of the starter Pokemons had done something great in that particular region at some point in history. And there were families that respected those Pokemons or were connected with that history.

So they named their surname after them as a sign of respect. 'Zard' was one of those families and they respected Charizard. There was also 'Toise' family after Blastoise and 'Venu' family after Venusaur. There were all-powerful families with lots of connections. And 'Zard' family owned the Auction house in the Kanto region.

Axel sat down and they talked about the Rookie tournament. The old man was fascinated with Axel's match and said good things about him. After some time

"So I hear from Mr. Koga that you wanted to buy a Gogoat for its milk especially.", said Timoothy coming to the topic.

"Yes sir. As my Pokemons are young, they need a lot of nutrients."

"Ok, then I would not make you wait so long. Come out Gogoat!", Timoothy said throwing an ultra ball.

A quadrupedal, hooved Pokemon similar to a goat came out. Its fur on the face was white with fluffier fur on the chin and the back of its head was dark brown. It had a black nose, red eyes encircled by black markings, a brown blaze down the middle of its face, and rounded ears. On top of its head was a pair of curving black horns that extend over its back.

It was covered in shaggy, brown fur that was darker across the back and lighter around the belly and legs. Around its neck is a thick, green leafy mane that extends down its back and ends in a short, bushy tail. The fur on its legs was shorter than the rest of its body; it is dark brown on the upper leg and white around the feet. Each foot ends in a cloven, brownish-orange hoof.

It was Gogoat.

Gogoat and Axel stared at each other for some seconds and then Axel said patting its fluffy body

"Hey Gogoat how are you? From now on you will be my Pokemon and we are going to have a lot of adventure together.", said Axel. "Gogoatttt", it said with a normal voice.

Axel was shocked a bit. It was a Pokemon he was going to buy so he expected he would have a rocky relationship with it for some time. But Gogoat didn't seem to have any problems with it and just seem to agree.

"This Gogoat is a very mature Pokemon and it doesn't want to battle. Since you just want it for the milk, I think it would be perfect for you. It is a rare-ranked Pokemon with normal potential. Are you satisfied with it?" Mr. Timoothy asked.

Mr. Timoothy had some problems with selling this Pokemon. This Pokemon doesn't want to fight and most people would not buy it. It was also a bit lazy.

"I am happy with this. How much would it cost me?", Axel asked. "I have already talked about this with Mr. Koga and since he and I are good friends I m willing to sell you this at 50% discount. It would cost you 7 million Pokedollars", said the old man.

Axel was shocked by this amount. It was just a normal potential. Though it was a rare ranked Pokemon but even with 50% discount it cost him 7 million Pokedollars. If Axel was to buy it at full price it would cost 14 million Pokedollars.

And he sold above advanced potential Beedrill, though only uncommon ranked for only 5 million Pokedollars. He felt cheated. He didn't know the prices on the market. So he was ripped off.

What Axel didn't know was that he had got a fair price on Beedrill. The difference in ranks makes a huge difference in money and bug-type Pokemon are sold at very less prices. It was cause of their low life expectancy and thinking that they are not very powerful Pokemons.

Though Axel was shocked he didn't show it in his face. He didn't want to negotiate the price cause he already got 50% discount on it and he knew that the old man would not cheat him cause of Mr. Koga. He paid the price and got Gogoat. Axel only had 884,800 Poke dollars with him now.

After the transaction was completed, "We also have some other exciting items that you may like. We also have Gogoat food recipe and it would be vital if you want those nutritious milk. Are you interested on it?", Mr. Timoothy asked.

"Not now. I may come after a couple of days to get it though. I have some important task to complete so I would be leaving immediately.", Axel said.

What a joke. He went from being a millionaire to… well not being a millionaire in one afternoon. He cannot afford to lose money now. Axel came from a middle-class family for both of his lives. So he knew the value of money. He said his goodbyes to the old man and then left the office.

Unfortunately, he could not see Kate when he was walking out. It may sound a bit creepy but after losing so much money he just wanted to see her beautiful face to make himself feel better. He didn't have the guts to ask her out.

Cause A, he was only 13 years old. He didn't want her to brush it off thinking it was a joke and B, he had never asked a girl out in his life. He had 1 girlfriend back on earth but the girl was the one who asked him out. He feels that if the girl says no, he would just crumble into the sand and just breeze out with the help of air.

Axel then walked out of the building to finally roam around the city. It was still afternoon and he didn't want to train today, so he thought to give himself a holiday for today.
