You know when reincarnating you just think about being the best, maybe start with a rich family? Or in a slum where you can get strong by stealing? Or maybe lost in a forest and start with an egg?? Or start with a persona such as red? Blue? Gary? Ash? Or anyone who has the greatest

Plot armor anyone would want? Well not mine, since I started as a bug catcher and will be one of the best bug catchers here in the Lake Rocks! Yup I'm part of a region called Oilime Pine Region, and yes I'm sort of in a world where there are your natural regions

Like Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, etc… and somehow various Pokemon come and go in the region, and you can see some various Pokemon like Corviknight, Pidgeot, Staraptor, Altaria, Talonflame, etc... and somehow a part of the region has a celebration solely for tropius

Weird right?? Welp, back to me I was left in an orphanage, which isn't bad per se since I'm not abandoned I am close to a league affiliate, and I'm eligible to be a bug catcher or game terms, the Steamroll mobs

Oh, do you know why those weak mobs are 'weak' apparently, they don't know how to train their Pokemon and they don't have enough money to properly feed them, and as such they were weak, and since I was a loser in my last life

This time I'm going to be better, everyone has a second chance, and wasting it is, well a waste, so I decided to learn various things through reading and talking to every adult who could answer my questions, and I was 7 years old by that time

And know this, in this region a kid can't have Pokemon until they are 13 which isn't bad if I was a normal child, but I wasn't so, so I somehow purged enough money to buy my Poke Ball, and I was eligible enough to get a pokemon since I already has the means to get one

Do you see the loophole in it? Welp, back to my reading sessions which I still do, in my research, there are 2 types of trainers, the General trainer which is in the name, but if you don't get it, it means a person who trains a variety of types of pokemon

And then there is the one that is fit for my situation, the type specialist, we all know what it means if you read a lot of fanfics and watched the anime so I'm going to spare you guys the info, as I said earlier, being a type specialist will help me

An orphan to have a stable way of training my Pokemons, well let me enlighten you guys, a generalist has to learn a lot of things if they have multiple types of Pokemons or even have many types of species, while a specialist will only focus on that type of species

This not only lessens what I have to feed my Pokemon, but it will also lessen the move training since they could help each other to master them, but if I go this route my weakness will always be exploited won't it? And here is my counter

What if my Pokemon were more skilled? Or maybe more trained? OR more versatile? Or just outright ignore super-effective moves because of its 2nd typing? But you see this is the very reason why I want to be a specialist

Become a gym leader, did you know that the salary of a gym leader isn't just a few bits of millions? Nope, in my research it was said that being a gym leader could have at least a $ 10 million monthly salary!! Of course, it has its downside, I mean what doesn't? every job you take, every decision you pull, every action you took

It has its downside that you might regret or will regret, but the point is that you have to pull through so that you can pass through that so that downside becomes one of your greatest decisions, isn't it? And I decided that my goal is to become a gym leader

Okay, why not the champion? Well, the fanfic and anime showed how being a champion is not a good thing, although being recognized as one of the champion rank trainers isn't a bad thing, and is even a good thing in my record since you can

Fight stronger trainers, okay let's go back to the type specialist topic, okay now that I want to be a type specialist trainer, what Pokemon should I want? Well, the thing is my hometown is in a place where a certain type of Pokemon is more numerous than the others

And it's bug type… I know I know it's one of the weakest types but the thing about my region is that it's tropical, meaning most bug types thrive in my region, we don't have any fancy royal Pokemon, and we do have legendary Pokemon but not a trio

We do have legends and numerous beliefs, but the thing is my place only has bug type, and the most common type of Pokemon I could have besides bug are grass, water, and rock, here are the cons of training them in my region

Grass-type Pokemon flourish in here but the best grass-type I could have is a hoppip in this place!! Which is not ideal if I say so myself, next is a rock type pokemon, the rock type that as far as I know close to here and not going to kill me when it sees me is a

Corsola and a bonsly, I don't want to train them to be honest, it's like I'm not a rock-hard kind of person, so yeah denied, now I was debating between Water and bug Pokemon… since both of them are numerous in the region, including lotads, poliwag, shellder, goldeen, clamperl, mantyke, etc…

But the issue is, they are hard to feed, no it's more like they are costly to feed since they need more energy to use when they are out of the water, and I am going to explore dangerous places, which is not ideal if they only have half the power they have

So, in the end, I leaned toward bug-type pokemon, which not only did become more knowledgeable of because the people here research them a LOT but there is not even a bug-type gym leader in the region!! And what took the icing on the cake? Well, they were easier to feed

…yuhp, that's the biggest reason why I want to train bug type, but what if you failed since they are one of the weakest types? Well, what I will say to that is… F*CK EM, every winner loses, and every loser who learns from those losses and improves and got better?

Well, what I call them are Legends, and those who go beyond what everybody could ever imagine. G's, are the manifestation of the TOP, and as far as I'm concerned? I'm going to be one of the best and strive to get better

Now that I know what type of Pokemon I want, what Pokemon is available to me? To be honest, only a few who aren't exactly aggressive would attack me immediately, there's only Dewpider, Grubbin, and Kricketot, which Kricketot is eliminated immediately

Because they are aggressive and numerous… they are scary in this place, one Kricketot is fine but what if you have to face 4, or 5, or 9 of them? Not so funny, isn't it? And I know for sure they don't go out alone, so yeah eliminated

Grubbin and Dewpider are both good Pokemon to have but choosing one of them, I chose a Dewpider as a starter not only because it eliminated the Fire weakness and in a rare case that I will have water absorb Dewpider starter. Water weakness is eliminated

And thinking about an aqua ring that it will learn?? Hoo wee, i will make a lot of kids pissed!! So now how to take action? Well, if I want, I could already have a Pokemon but I won't since this is not a good time to have one, and it is not mating season yet

So, I know that meeting a Dewpider who is to my liking will be hard, so in the meantime, I will learn about bug Pokemon and how to feed them the optimal food
