13 Ch 9: Unexpected Rescue

Wes together with Endou finally reached at night, the hunting house of Endou's family.

ENDOU: We are finally here.

WES: Yes we are. We would have reached sooner if we hadn't had to avoid a Beedrill swarm.

ENDOU: Should we start training?

WES: Sure.

Then both trainers released all their Pokemon and they immediately started training.

Umbreon and Eevee had two deferent schedules. The first one, put them in melee combat with Pinsir. Umbreon and Eevvee's goal was to train their use of the unlearned Double Kick Move while the Pinsir would block and counter attack at the same time. The second training came in the mock battle between the two of them and Endou's Venonat and Butterfree. Umbreon would also train in the use of Hyper Beam with the help of Pinsir.

The two new members of Wes's team were in a 2VS1 Battle with Nidoran♂. Nidoran♂ would also have real 1VS1 Battles with Endou's Pinsir. The two of them started a rivalry with eachother and every match between them was always a hard all out fight. 2 Hours into the training Caterpie was enveloped by a white Light and evolved ito a Metapod. Wes was overjoyed at it's fast evolution. Since it will also reach its final evolution in 3 more LV'S.

Two days passed like that and Umbreon and Eevee finally learned how to use Double Kick. Umbreon also learned Hyper Beam. But there was also an unexpected development for Pinsir. In the current fight between Pinsir and Nidoran♂, Pinsir suddenly realised a furry of punches like it was a protagonist in the JOJO anime series scaring the sit out of Endou.

ENDOU: Pinsir what was that just now.

WES: That was one of the strongest physical Moves of the Fighting Type. Close Combat.

ENDOU: Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess. Good work Pinsir.

Endou's suprise and confusion were overcame by the joy he felt for his Pinsir success. Now he had an extra weapon against Brock. He really made the right choice to train together with Wes. Then after this small disruption they continued training. After all, tomorrow, he will go with Wes to Pewter City to watch Wes battle against Brock. Being together for two whole days and seeing Wes's Pokemon strength, made him hyped for the outcome of their battle. During the evening as they were having a brake, the quietness of the forest broke by a sudden female scream.

?????: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. SOMMEEONE HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEE!!!!.

WES: Someone is in danger.

ENDOU: We should better go and see if we can help.

Then Wes and Endou Run as fast as they could towards the direction of the scream. When they were close they saw a girl holding an injured Rattata in her hands being chased by 20 Beedrills.

"Shit. There are a lot of Beedrills."

Wes was startled by the situation they ended up.

ENDOU: Brace for impact Wes.

Endou Immediately summoned all of his Pokemon. Wes summoned his Eevee, Umbreon, Nidoran♂ and Bulbasaur. Wes also used his system to scan all the Beedrills and calmed down at what he saw. 19 of the Beedrills were LV 10-12. The only worrying one was the last one

Beedrill: Male LV 18 Ability: Sniper Item: no

Moves: Poison Sting, String Shot, Electroweb (Baby), Iron Defense, Twineedle, Fury Attack, Drill Run (Tutor), Pursuit.

"This is a total beast of a Beedrill. Instead of Harden at the Kakuna stage it learned, Iron Defense. It also knew Electroweb as an egg Move and somehow on its own, comprehended Drill Run."

WES: Endou be careful of the Beedrill at the end. It seems a lot stronger than the Rest.

ENDOU: OK Wes. Pinsir Hyper Beam. Butterfree and Venonat use Confusion.

Umbreon use Hyper Beam. Eevee use Stored Power. Bulbasaur use Seed Bomb. Nidoran♂ use Focus Energy.

Then right after the terrified girl passed them Pinsir and Umbreon lunched two Hyper Beams that combined together and hit the Beedrill swarm directly KOing 10 Beedrills right away, seriously injuring 5 and the other 5 including the strongest Beedrill that seamed to be the leader of that swarm manage to react and dodge the combination Hyper beam of Umbreon and Pinsir.

Then Eevee's Stored Power and Bulbasaur's Seed Bomb hit an injured Beedrill each knocking both of those Beedrill out of the fight. The same happened with Venonat's and Butterfree's Confusion with an extra addition. One of the Confusions hit a healthy Beedrill and somehow that Beedrill smashed into an injured one and both of them slammed into a tree resulting in a double KO. Nidoran♂ started radiating heat. In the end out of the original 20 Beedrills. The leader plus 3 totally healthy ones and 1 injured remained.

WES: Great job Endou.

ENDOU: You too Wes.

Then the Beedrills counter attack cane in the form of Twineedle.

WES: Nidoran♂ Head Smash.

ENDOU: Butterfree Sleep Powder.

Nidoran♂ Slammed into one of the healthy Beedrills Knocking it out while Butterfree put to Sleep the injured one. The final Beedrill to not take any damage managed to hit Bulbasaur with it's Twineedle Move. The leading Beedrill was forced to stop it's Twineedle Move in order to dodge Butterfree's Sleep Powder. But it after it dodged it suddenly started spinning extremely fast and before anyone could react the leading Beedrills Drill Run Move hit Wes Nidoran♂ for super effective damage while also managing to score a critical hit. Nidoran♂ was knocked out completely and Wes immediately returned back to it's Pokeball.

ENDOU: Venonat Confusion.

WES: Bulbasaur Tackle. Eevee Quick Attack.

Venonat use Confusion to defeat the sleeping Beedrill. While Bulbasaur counter attacked it's attacker with the Tackle Move knocking it back. Then Immediately Eevee also managed to hit the same Beedrill with Quick Attack. After this fight the Leader of the swarm tried to target Eevee with it's Pursuit Move But a timely order from Endou Managed to save Eevee from that hit.

ENDOU: Pinsir Vice Grip.

Pinsir immediately intercepted the leader of the Beedrill swarm that dodged Pinsir's pincers. But before it could counterattack Pinsir's pincers hit eachother and a huge soundwave was produced Knocking back the Beedrill. The nearby tree trunk was completely cut by the soundwave. The Beedrill leader almost pished himself, thinking that if it had forced the attack on Eevee this Pincers would hit it. Thoughts of totally fleeing from this battle emerged in its mind. But when it started fleeing an order from one of the trainers put a total stop on its plan.

WES: Umbreon Pursuit.

Umbreon suddenly appeared infront of the fleeing Beedrill and hit it back at Pinsir's direction.

ENDOU: Pinsir Vice Grip. Butterfree and Venonat use Confusion on the other Beedrill.

Then the Confusion Move of Butterfree and Venonat knocked out the last remaining member of the swarm and the leader of it was caught By the pincers of Pinsir using the Vice Grip Move also defeated in the process.

(For those wondering how Pinsir attacks suddenly started being so powerful. If you see the summary of Pinsir, at Ch 8, you will see that Endou's Pinsir has it's Hidden Ability, Moxie. Moxie: Moxie increases the user's Attack one stage upon fainting an opponent. Stats can be raised to a maximum of +6 stages each.)

WES: CATCH THIS BEEDRILL.

Wes yelled at Endou, to quickly catch the leader of the swarm. After all it was very strong. Of course It will reveal its true strength and value after it Mega Evolves. So Wes didn't need a Beedrill in his team. Endou Immediately threw a Pokeball at the leader of the Beedrill swarm and after the Pokeball moved three times, the Beedrill was finally caught.

WES: Good catch Endou.

ENDOU: Thanks Wes but if you hadn't helped this capture would have been impossible for me.

WES: Don't downgrade your self. If we didn't have the element of surprise and if Umbreon hadn't learned Hyper Beam. This fight would have been a lot more difficult for us.

Then before Endou began to speak again the voice of a young girl. interjected.

GIRL: Tha..th.th.th.thanKYOU SO much for saving me.

The young girl with height around 1.51 meters tall a a blond hair with it combed similar to Elise from Fire Emblem Fates was still trembling from fear.

WES: Calm down you are safe now. Endou lets bring her in your house.

ENDOU: OK. It will make it easier for her to relax there.

Then Wes, Endou and the girl went towards the hunting house of Endou. Then when they went inside, the blonde girl showed clear signs of calming down.

WES: So. Now can you tell us your name miss.

SHERRY: My name is Sherry.

ENDOU: Nice name. So what were you doing all alone in the forest, that managed anger a whole swarm of Beedrills?

SHERRY: My father is a researcher for the Silph Co. He was doing research on Bug Type Pokemon in order too create a new capture tool to make their capture even easier. Since i wanted to see the forest after a lot of tantrums, i thrown at him he accepted to take me with his research team together. But after some time after we reached the forest a huge swarm of Beedrills appeared and i, terrified of them run away as fast as i could.

WES: That was really dangerous. So what about that Rattata? Also did the swarm we battle split off the one your father and his team encountered.

SHERRY: No as i got away from the swarm i found a Weedle attacking this injured Rattata. So i kicked it with all my strength and picked up the Rattata. Then a loud flurry of wings could be heard and a was chased by the swarm you defeated. Thanks again for rescuing me.

ENDOU: It's ok. All that matters in the end is your safety. So can you communicate with your father?

SHERRY: Yes i can.

Then Sherry called her father, that was searching frantically for her, after they defeated their swarm. Then Endou hearing their general direction went to get them. As Sherry's father arrived alongside 10 other people, his eyes fell on his daughter. He fell to the ground, his legs unable to support him. He was searching crazily for her and now seeing her out of harms way, made his body after relaxing to show signs of fatigue. Sherry then told her father what happened to her after she run away.

William: Thank you both. May Arceus give you it's blessings. Thank you for saving my daughter.

WES: There is no need for thanks. We only did the right thing to do in this situation.

WILLIAM: I know. But you still saved my daughter. hmm i know since you are both trainers i believe this will be useful to your journeys.

Then Sherry's father took 2 disk shaped objects from his back.

ENDOU: There is no need for a reward. We only did what any person would do in such a situation.

WILLIAM: But you still saved my only daughter. I wouldn't fell relived if i didn't offer some compassion for putting yourselves in danger.

Then we both thanked Sherry's father. Then after our conversation was over the time for them and Sherry to leave, had finally came. Though a certain someone didn't want to leave. That someone was the Rattata that was in Sherry's hug. Her father let out a sight and told her that she can keep it. Sherry was overjoyed to her fathers decision and gave him a kiss. Then we said our goodbyes and they left Leaving me and Endou alone. Of course Sherry thanked both of them again and again before leaving with her father and even gave them a kiss in the chick shocking both of them.

WES: So that's the end of this event.

ENDOU: Yes. So tomorrow you will fight Brock.

WES: Yes. I believe i am fully prepared for the fight.

ENDOU: Of course you are. so what is this disk like object. He only left with a mysterious smile without telling us what it is.

WES: This is an unbreakable TM of the Protect Move.

ENDOU: WHAAAAAAAAAT? FOR REAL?

Endou was shocked at what Wes told him. Of course Wes immediately checked what the gift was after receiving it and was also shocked as Endou was right now. Then both of them continued talking for a bit and before going to sleep they taught their Pokemon the Protect Move. This was the last night they would spend together after all.
